In turkey, he did things for my club Fenerbahce that will be spoken about for generations to come. He was 26 when he came. Played 8 seasons and left his mark in every single season. Left with half a dozen trophies and a statue by the stadium. Salut to Doctor aka Alex and salut to daily dose of football for telling his story.🫡
I traveled to Istanbul around four years ago - long after Alex's retirement. Whenever I said I was Brazilian, *everyone* asked me about Alex. Impressive; an incredible player. Too bad my own team Flamengo was in absolute chaos when we came - I didn't even remember that happening!
39 goals and 40 assists in 63 matches and winning the first ever brasilian treble is ABSURD! TRUE LEGEND even if he didnt't reach the heights in europe, he gave it all and never gave up
He did great in europe, he just was outside the big 5 leagues, otherwise he would be a god For instance he was the UCL top assist provider and fought for the golden boot with a club who never passed the quarter finals in its history
Alex is the greatest football player I have seen with my eyes. For me no other player can get close to him. I have watched so many games he touchs the ball 5 times in all game and finish with 1 goal-2 asists. He stayed at Fenerbahçe 8 years and I havent missed a single match he played at our home court. Since he was sent, I havent gone to a match. İt just feels something is missing.
Same with me , on the day they sent him with such rude and bad manner , i literally stop following and supporting Fenerbahçe after that time. Alex was a true maestro and spirit for the team. Such a shame that they spent him in their ego fight.
All those names you mention are amazing players either physically and technicaly superior gifted but Alex was the last of its kind, a true number 10 thats why he is so special and when I watch a game I feel something is missing. And seeing where football evolving I dont think we will see anything like it again. Maybe Arda but not sure…
As a Galatasaray fan, I’m glad you decided to tell the story of Alex. Alex played straight 8 seasons for our rival Fenerbahçe, being a total nightmare for those he played against, especially Galatasaray. But he was loved by all the football fans in Turkey, regardless of the team. He became a legend for his genius skills with the ball, insane statistics of goals and assists. More importantly, he was a true character both in and out of the field. At a time when it was common for 30+ aged star players to come Turkey for big amounts of money, without playing much; he became a legend like george hagi. I wish him all the best, not only for his skills but also for his character as a person. ❤ Alex de Souza

As a Cruzeiro fan, I can say I've never been to the stadium so many times as I did in 2003, all that to see this guy playing. He was by far the best player I've watched playing in a stadium (and I've seen the young Ronaldo playing in Cruzeiro too). In 2003, I can surely say that he was the best player in the world, no one did the things he did, it was a magical year, a spectacle, incomparable!
As a Fenerbahçe Supporter proud to saw this legend playing.....Obregado Maestro Alex the magician....He really was 6 years the best Player in the World
I am so glad Alex de Souza is finally getting the recognition he deserves outside of Brazil and Turkiye. As a Fenerbahçe fan and as someone who has met Alex and played football with him, he definitely had the talent to play in the biggest clubs in Europe at the time of his prime just like Ronaldinho and Zidane. He was something else and I am so glad to have met him, his family and played with him. Muito Obrigado Alex! 🇹🇷🇧🇷💛💙
He barely known in Brasil he was never a star, he basically a backup for the national team and played in two confederation cups with the b team 😂😂. He's not a legend
@@petesmart1983 He is a Legend in Turkiye, we dont care about you, be respectful he was out of this world when he played for Fenerbahce, 7 years in row double digget goals and assists, he had 28 goals 21 assists or so, 7 seasons in row he had such crazy stats, we saw him playing live, dont know how old you are, if you are younger, please be just quiet !
He is a legend in Brazil too. This guy must just be another troll on the internet. I'm a Corinthians fan, Alex played for my team's biggest rival and I'm a fan of this star. I play football every week, with people from work, college and from my neighborhood and I've never heard anyone who loves football say anything bad about Alex and here in Brazil football is culture, religion, politics, music, class struggle... Alex is an ace and I want you to know, my Turkish friend, that we are very proud of Alex for representing our country so well in Turkey.@@Levo_D_Angelo
We as brazilians, learned with Alex (and many other great players examples) that in CBF competitions and EVEN MORE in the Brazil's national teams list, THERE'RE maybe more politics than pure talents names. A shame he only went to our national team to play friendless and others minor games...
No wonder you were trashed 7-0 at home in the world cup. This video details one of the greatest crimes to jogo bonito and testament of a curse that still goes on
@folcane thanks to CBF, Brazil forgot the jogo bonito and adopted European tactical patterns. In Brazil, football was created from the 0 to amaze the people. In Europe football was created from the 0 to overhaul South America from the top!
He embodied the essence of a true gentleman-a refined intellectual, a football virtuoso, and a beacon of moral integrity. As a devoted Beşiktaş fan, the pleasure of witnessing his prowess in our league was unparalleled. His remarkable presence graced our country with privilege for several years, leaving an indelible mark. Love and greetings for you and your family Alex! Your presence has been missed...
Thanks for this video! It's comforting to know that more people outside of Brazil recognize Alex's greatness. Even though I'm Brazilian and privileged to have seen Alex play up close for years, his career is one of the biggest injustices in world football. He never got the glory or spotlight that his career truly deserved even though he is said to be a GENIUS by other legends. Alex is considered by fans in Brazil to be the most technically refined player of his entire generation, even more so than the legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. He is truly one of the best and most underappreciated players I have ever seen. If you ask in Brazil how Alex was left off the list for the 2002 World Cup? Not even the players themselves at the time know.
If it makes you more comforted in turkey he is a legend and not just for fenerbahce fans he is a legend for all Turkish football fans he has football fields named after him and he literally has a statue in the middle of one of the most crowded places in Istanbul
Bro I agree so much you have no idea. I just fomented the same exact thing word for word and the word injustice is so correct. He should be in top 50 all time conversation but unfortunately never got the chance at the top due to corruption piece of crap serie A and Brazil football association which was a zoo in the early 2000s
He is considered as the biggest legend of Fenerbahçe, a Turkish Club founded in 1907 with over 30 million fans. HE has a statute in a park close to the Stadium. We love him so much.
I'm a Cruzeiro fan, Alex was the best player I've ever seen play at the club, and in 2003 he had the best midfield season I've experienced in Brazilian football, here in MG he will be an eternal idol.
OH MAN. Captain Alex ! As a Turkish football fan, and also as a Galatasaray fan (Fenerbahçe's rivals) it was a privilage to watch him. He loved by all the fans in Turkey, even rival fans as me... Legend will be never forgotten!!

As a Cruzeiro fan, he is my favourite player ever!! His performances in 2003 were symple out of this word. That team is regarded by many as one of the greatest in Brazil's history. Not just us fans. And as you can read in the comments, he is also beloved in Turkey. It is a shame he didn't get to shine in the biggest stages. He definitely had talent for that. Luck us who were privileged to watch him
Alex de Souza has a Statue infront the Fenerbahçe Stadium,in History of this Club the best Player by far ,and even Nicolas Anelka ,Pierre Hoidonk,Ariel Ortega, Roberto Carlos, and on and on Played for Fenerbahçe as Well. But Alex is the goat of Fenerbahçe ❤❤
Alex's biggest misfortune was to stay in an unsuccessful club like Fenerbahçe for many years. But Alex earned a lot of money in Fenerbahçe, so he didn't care much.
also beloved? he is the best player who ever played in turkey a true legend i still have his shirt!!! they will still talk about him in 100 years!!!! people stand in line before every game to make pics with his statue.
@@brkdrmz drogba???? How long did he play in turkiye??? 1 season 😄 How many goals or assits did he scored🤣 he just came for his paycheck! Hagi??? He scored only 59 goals. Alex has 167 goals and 143 assists brother no one comes even close to him!!!
I'm a Flamengo fan, but his 2003 in Cruzeiro was nuts. Maybe Neymar's 2011 in Santos could compare to it, but no other player was this dominant in the Brazilian league in the last 25 years at least. Edmundo had a fantastic season in 1998... and maybe we really need to go back to Zico to find a good comparison. He is my idol in football. I wanted to be like him. Brazilians and Turks always knew he was massively underrated. Maybe the rest of the world can catch up...
Just a little correction: The best season of Edmundo was in 1997, In 98 he was already in Fiorentina. Sometimes I got it confused too, because the best Edmundo's season was for Vasco in 97, and the best Vasco's season was in 98, winning the Copa Libertadores.
Ops sem exageros amigo. Alex foi um otimo jogador. Parou por aqui. So jogou em time sem relevancia internacional.

Alex with his personality and abilities on the pitch had one thing in common with the likes of Ronaldinho. He made football fun. He will always be remembered as a legend at Fenerbahce. He left us in 2012, due to a 'falling out' with the chairman, and honestly - Fenerbahce has yet to fully recover from that blow
Sou torcedor do Fenerbahçe.
I remember him playing for Fenerbahce. He was mesmerising...🪄 Our neighbours have seen some great players in their league... Hagi, Okocha, Jardel, Fernandes, Roberto Carlos, Guti, Quaresma...👽 Congratulations for your channel my friend...😎 Greetings from Greece...🇬🇷🏴☠️💫
As a fan of Athletico Paranaense (Coritiba biggest rival) I gotta say that Alex just transcends all the rivalry, he's a legend as a player, and most important, as a human being.
Alex is the greatest Brazilian player to never play a World Cup match. He had everything you would expect from a number 10: the vision, the passing range, the dribbling, the free kicks, the moments of genius and to top it all, Alex was a goalscoring menace. This dude could outscore most attackers in a season. He was lethal from deadballs, from inside or outside the box, he would do impossible chip shots, place unstoppable shots on the top bin. And this man was a clutch: the bigger the game, the bigger were the chances he would score. He never played for my team Sao Paulo FC, but he's definitely THE PLAYER i wanted to see playing for us.
There is a phrase in turkish "Bir Alex değil(not like Alex)" and we use it for the things or situations good but not perfect. That's how much of a beast Alex was in turkish league.
i'm a Coritiba fan, and i had the pleasure to see his carrier end here, saw him play, saw him do things i never saw any other player do before, love him!
You dont have to play for a european giant to be an all time great Alex was a rare exception legendary player and legendary character. He made Fenerbahce one of the best european teams at his time, let alone his achievements in brazil.Im so glad we witnessed a player like him in Fenerbahce as a fan,OBRIGADO ALEX ! ALEXLE SONUSUZA
what did he achieve in europa? only one quarter finals in champions league? ahahahahahah. His best achievements were being eliminated to honduras and cameroon with his national team. By the way, he managed to do it with brazilian national team. What a loser!
I grew up watching Alex de Souza. He's definitely one of a few greatest players who ever played in Turkey. I've always wondered how he wasn't playing in his national team. In spite of all Turkish clubs hating each other, everyone loved Alex for his play and character. Even though he retired from football, he's never been forgotten and he never will be.
He didnt had the oportunity for that. A.Ferguson looked for him, but couldnt gave him work permit because of small number of games for Brazil, Inter was very close to sign him when Ronaldo got injured but never happened.@@neil1982
Would love to see the Fenerbahçe era of him! It' is believed that he's by far the most beloved Fenerbahçe player of the clubs history by many accounts; including mine. Hell, even as a fan of a rival club, I loved seeing him play and so did everyone else. He did get done dirty by the federation, however it does not reflect the will of the fans.
Well in the end Fenerbahce screwed him, cause he could beat a old turkish players record who was than coach of Fenerbahce, still pissed about how it ended. But alex was amazing, especially when he played under Zico. That period Alex and Deivid were fucking amazing. Alex always have been an incredible example of a player. Much kudo's to him.
At least we are the only club who enjoyed his talents for a long time. He's spent incredible 8 seasons with us which easily makes him the GOAT of our league@@FordiusNLD-wp8pf
Even tho I'm a Atletico Mineiro (Cruzeiro's rival) fan, Alex was one of the greatest 10's I've ever seen. - and Ronaldinho played and WON at my club. The way he saw the game, and could assist in every possible way was crazy for me. Great player, can't wait to see part 2
Thanks for bringing his story up! One of the best players I saw in the sport. Unfortunately he was a victim of the worst that football had to offer: corruption. Eager to see the second part.
I'm a Fenerbahçe fan and when Alex came to team i was 9 years old. He became my hero. When he was forced to leave the team i cried a lot. We love you Alex. I will tell about you to my grandchildren.

He was one of the greatest playes in our history, Fenerbahçe. We loved him so much that he has a statue close to our stadium, in an important park for the Fenerbahçe fans. He was one of the most talented player in the football history for sure. And with him in a proper career, Brasil NT would make extra things and win more trophies. And the day he left our team Fenerbahçe, we still are feeling so bad for that day. It is heartbreaking for the fans of Fenerbahçe. I am sure that Alex is loved the most in Fenerbahçe in his all career journey and we are thankful to him for all the great things we have lived together with him.
The first player that I tried the mimic the playstyle on the pitch, he's still my one of favorites although he played for my club's biggest rival. And by the way you're doing an amazing job giving the recognition that players outside of the top 5 leagues deserve. The fact that you know these legends of the beautiful game exist and how important their feats are is proof of how knowledgeable about the sport you really are, there's a lot of people talking about football out there but if I were to choose a single one to listen to for my entire life that would be you. No wonder your channel is doing great, you deserve it. Abraços do Brazil😊
Greatest footballer who ever played in turkey! Absolute Legend! He will be remembered forever for what he did for Fenerbahce! A statue of him is still near the stadium, very well earned. Loved every minute he played for my club. Loved even by rivals. Great footballer, even greater character!
@@FordiusNLD-wp8pf Dont say Fenerbahce did him dirty, when it was only the Trainer who had a Problem with him. And the president stood by the Trainer, so the kicked him out, even though all other players and all the fans stood by the side of Alex!
@@erguninhodesouza761 Well if the Trainer/President did him dirty that's the club right, sure the fans loved him and didn't like how he was threated. @FordiusNLD-wp8pf I have to disagree, coach n Trainer does not mean the club and everything to me. If u ask any player of that time or any fan right now, we would still clean his boots. Thats why he is a legend, thats why there is a statue of a brazilian in turkey (the only one).
@@FordiusNLD-wp8pf actually alex did not like zico that much n was telling the board that it was not essential that zico stays, n that he profited a lot from the great squad to that time. Which is believable, if u think of the lack of success zico had after his time at Fener!
Club legend for Fenerbahce, probably the best player in our history. We have a statue of him near the stadium. He is the best football player i have ever witnessed with my own eyes.
I actually cried watching this. What a great video in honor of a legend. The archive footage is insane. Thank for this sir, may you have much success in your life.
This guy is an idol in almost every club he played. In Turkey he is a celebrity and demigod, in Brazil 3 clubs from diferent states praise him. His goal against São Paulo lobbed Rogerio Ceni and for me is the most beutiful goal iv ever seen
"Ele era lento", era o que falavam... ele é o melhor jogador que vi jogar no meu time ( palmeiras), quando penso em um gol bonito, o primeiro que penso é o dele contra o ceni... meu idolo do futebol
Honestly his time at Fenerbahçe deserves a completely seperate video. He was by far the best player in the league at the time, could only be compared to Gheorge Hagi and Wesley Sneijder in overall impact, yet the board completely disrespected him at the end of his career. Even now most Fenerbahçe fans have him as their favorite ever player

Man, i just love your videos! I’m a Palmeiras supporter, and it’s crazy remember that one of the biggest reasons Alex chose Palmeiras over Corinthians, was his admiration for Djalminha (another great crazy brazillian playmaker Genius).
I suppory Galatasaray in Turkiye, Alex played for Fenerbahce for many years and I loved watching him every time even when he played against Galatasaray. He was an absolute GEM to watch. LEGENDARY PLAYER.
I think that is Ben Wikipedia is still trying to cancel him because their info about him doesn’t match with your amazing stats.Thank you for reminding me of him
As a big Cruzeiro fan, I couldn't be more thankful to what Alex did for us. 2003 was a magical year. His comeback is a proof of what a discredited man can do when properly supported. A magical baller. Most importantly: a huge man, with a very big heart.
Seeing him on your channel is unbelievable. To anyone who doubts your thoughts about his quality, don’t doubt it. He was THAT good. Everything else aside, just the things he did at Fenerbahçe was mesmerizing at the very least. Ask him to PSV, ask him to CSKA, ask him to Inter, ask him to Sevilla, you can ask him to ANY team he EVER faced. They will always tell you the same thing; even he did hurt them, it was beautiful. We cannot get enough of him, even after retirement. Please, do not forget about our love for him in the second video...
Fener fan here, he is my and almost every Fener fan's idol. He completely transformed our club from a mediocre european club to a worldwide known and quite decent one. Very VERY gifted player. You can find his statue right beside the stadium, legend.
I love your content and the way you tell stories. Now can you do what the hell happened to both Freddy Adu and Nii Lamptey - they were once labeled as football prodigies, the next Pele, etc but now gone with the wind.
Freddy Adu was terrible I remember trying out for RB youth team around the same time that guy was relevant. Guy had one move the Harlem shake every time he tried to dribble past a player. He went to Europe that shit didn't fly at all period.
@kevinsantospro nah man, not the harlem shake dribble 💀💀 don't do Fred dirty like that! There must have been something people were seeing when you two were playing and being scouted?
Alex was the biggest headache of my life as a Besiktas fan... Arguably, the best player of Turkish League history. He is a true legend on and off the pitch. Respect.
@@tttigggerrr1 Gee golly, i wonder why so many hate Galatasaray. Perhaps its because of such comments and the concescending nature of your entire fanbase huh? He said "Arguably" so please go riot in your own corner.
I had the privilege of seeing Alex in his most magical year, according to him: 2003! The year in which my team, Cruzeiro, orchestrated by this monster player, won almost everything they played for! Even winning the two most important national tournaments in the same year: the Brazilian League and the Brazilian Cup! That year, Cruzeiro lost only 8 games out of 71 played! Alex is quietly the best player to have played for Cruzeiro in the last 30 years, and look, in that same period guys like Dida, Maicon, Sorín, Ronaldo, etc. have played here.
There is one beautiful quote about him we used to say in Türkiye. "You could write a 500-page novel on his right foot, and reveal in the last line that he was left footed". What a magician, what a player and what a personality on and off the court. Highest respects and salute to you doktor..
As a Fenerbahçe fan, Alex is one of if not the best foreign players we ever had. Even in our toughest years, he lead the team. He won 3 Turkish League, 1 Turkish Cup and 2 Super Cup titles; he was the top goalscorer twice in Turkish League and even had the most assists in 2007-2008 Champions League season when Fenerbahçe played all the way to the quarter-finals. He is the only non-Turkish player ever to pass 100 goals in Turkish League (and 13th most scoring player ever). His farewell to the club was not good due to having problems with the club president and the manager at that time (club president even got angry at fans chanting Alex's name). But he is still loved by the fans (not only by Fener but also by rival fans) so much that he is one of the rare players in Fenerbahçe who got a statute.
4 cups in 8 years is not that good in a mid tier league like Turkey, should have dominated considering fenerbahce routinely had the biggest budgets in the league
When I was growing up I thought Fenerbahçe and Lyon were the biggest of the biggest in their respective countries cause they use to win everything and do well in Champions League. Then I realized they were only great when they had Alex and Juninho, respectively. Two of the most underrated players ever only because they played out of teams like Real, Barça, Bayern, etc

This is incredible. Alex wasn't crazy flashy but you can SEE he is just 'one' / can do anything with a football. 'Genius efficiency' you could say - and a clear Messi level prospect without the disgusting sabotage. Great work and looking forward to part 2. Edit: Just been watching some compilations of this guy. Jeesoss Chrise... a nailed on Ballon D'Or level talent. That fkin simple. Guy had everything... everything!
"It was never about being a good baller. It was always about being the coach's favorite." Alex has stated só many times over ALL these past years. He was never forgotten. Actually, he became a media guy on ESPN Brasil. And now he is a coach in São Paulo academy. Alex and Djalminha never played a World Cup. They both truly deserved.
Most Brazilians would rank Alex higher than Kaká and Adriano and some would even put him above Rivaldo and Neymar as an all-time Brazilian great. Alex had enormous talent, intelligence and integrity. Growing up he was the player I wanted to be, even though I'm são-paulino and he played for my team's rival Palmeiras. When I visited Istanbul, I went to Fenerbahçe's stadium just so I could take a picture with his statue. In terms of style and football IQ, Alex reminds me of Cruyff, but with a bit of Brazilian flair. He was a youngster when Rivaldo was at the peak and was overshadowed by Ronaldinho and Kaká as Brazil's number 10. Sometimes life is just not fair.

I remember spending a summer in Brazil and watching him play a couple of matches. He was great. Brazil, the CBF, FIFA and UEFA are a cesspool of corruption. Just look at the Neymar transfer to FCB, Figo, Everton, Manchester City, Juventus some years ago. The only time I’ve really seen anything done to the clubs is Juventus and Everton recently. Pecado do Alex foi ser inteligente demais.
Not just that, even Gala and Besiktas Fans appreciate him, even if they are fierce rivals of ours.
Man, i cried a River when he got to Fenerbahce from my team, Cruzeiro, but he made me cheer for Fenerbahce because of that
I traveled to Istanbul around four years ago - long after Alex's retirement. Whenever I said I was Brazilian, *everyone* asked me about Alex. Impressive; an incredible player. Too bad my own team Flamengo was in absolute chaos when we came - I didn't even remember that happening!
don't over exaggerate lol@@mokoufujiwara6089

39 goals and 40 assists in 63 matches and winning the first ever brasilian treble is ABSURD! TRUE LEGEND even if he didnt't reach the heights in europe, he gave it all and never gave up
FROM MID FIELD 🤯
He did great in europe, he just was outside the big 5 leagues, otherwise he would be a god
For instance he was the UCL top assist provider and fought for the golden boot with a club who never passed the quarter finals in its history
He was no one basically 😂another Edmundo or Adriano champions with no brain
@gabrielsa9751 that's mad, I'd never heard of him before this video.
How he was not scouted by one of the top ten teams in Europe is a joke
Alex is the greatest football player I have seen with my eyes. For me no other player can get close to him. I have watched so many games he touchs the ball 5 times in all game and finish with 1 goal-2 asists. He stayed at Fenerbahçe 8 years and I havent missed a single match he played at our home court. Since he was sent, I havent gone to a match. İt just feels something is missing.
believe me you're not alone. fenerbahce can get all messi, mbappe, ronaldo, haaland but i still wouldn't care like how i cared when there was alex.

He was by far the best player I've watched playing in a stadium (and I've seen the young Ronaldo playing in Cruzeiro too). In 2003, I can surely say that he was the best player in the world, no one did the things he did, it was a magical year, a spectacle, incomparable!

I play football every week, with people from work, college and from my neighborhood and I've never heard anyone who loves football say anything bad about Alex and here in Brazil football is culture, religion, politics, music, class struggle...

We as brazilians, learned with Alex (and many other great players examples) that in CBF competitions and EVEN MORE in the Brazil's national teams list, THERE'RE maybe more politics than pure talents names. A shame he only went to our national team to play friendless and others minor games...
Sadly the same thing happens in Argentina.
Turkey'll never forget him he is our legend
He embodied the essence of a true gentleman-a refined intellectual, a football virtuoso, and a beacon of moral integrity. His remarkable presence graced our country with privilege for several years, leaving an indelible mark.
Love and greetings for you and your family Alex! Your presence has been missed...

I'm a Flamengo fan, but his 2003 in Cruzeiro was nuts. Maybe Neymar's 2011 in Santos could compare to it, but no other player was this dominant in the Brazilian league in the last 25 years at least. Just a little correction: The best season of Edmundo was in 1997, In 98 he was already in Fiorentina.
Sometimes I got it confused too, because the best Edmundo's season was for Vasco in 97, and the best Vasco's season was in 98, winning the Copa Libertadores.

Respect.
Even Alex admitted George Hagi was the best during years. Except Galatasaray haters lol. You are clueless.....
@@tttigggerrr1 Gee golly, i wonder why so many hate Galatasaray. Perhaps its because of such comments and the concescending nature of your entire fanbase huh? He said "Arguably" so please go riot in your own corner.
@@TheMarashian Truth! If you cant handle it go hide in your closet! As far as Galatasaray; have over 40 mil fans world wide, only rivals hate!
Yeah that is a stolen quote which was said about Gheorghe Hagi even before Alex came to Turkey
But he is still loved by the fans (not only by Fener but also by rival fans) so much that he is one of the rare players in Fenerbahçe who got a statute.
was best for fb
4 cups in 8 years is not that good in a mid tier league like Turkey, should have dominated considering fenerbahce routinely had the biggest budgets in the league
*O ETERNO TALENTO AZUL!!*
Eterna gratidão da torcida cruzeirense!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇭🇳🦊
Alex was way better than Juninho, who had great players like Essien and Diarra in very strong Lyon squad
thanks to yt random algorithm, i found this channel and yeah you got a new subscriber here. great content, it was a chill run down to my spine knowing all the story from all these players. keep up the great content, cant wait for 2nd part for alex
Underrated legend

I know a lot about football and I’ve never heard of him.
You Sir, are an absolute gem to football ⚽️
Alex was the best footballer I have seen on the pitch in real life. Such a privilege to witness his magic with the ball. We miss you Kaptan.
Nao so torcedores do Ferne, mas do Galatasaray e Besiktas todos idolatram ele la.
Alex had become a legend of childhood. As a Fener supporter, I feel very lucky to be able to watch him with my naked eyes. Professor Doctor Alex De Souza!
I still remember to this day that match against paysandu in the Mineirão... And that goal against Flamengo at Copa do Brasil first leg finals
Alex craque da bola, jogou demais no cruzeirao
Never knew about this phenomenon thanks daily dose for the story 💯
Do Kevin Prince Boateng next! He’s had an interesting career
You will always remain as Fenerbahçe legend doctor. Much love from Turkiye.
ONE person to put the main blame: luis felipe scollari. He just does not like Alex...not corruption, the coach just does like players that were smarter than himself... Brazil won in 2002, but Alex should never be left out.
As a fenerbahçe fan Alex de souza is our club legend 😢
Finally someone made a video in english about Alex, he was extraordinary.
Manchester City will get off with a fine. Mark my words
so nice to see an authority giving alex de souza the respect he reserved after all these years. he was estentially a turkish player for every turkish footbal fan who is not a fanatic. we cheered and wished for him to be the next star of brazilian national team but never understood how ne never made to the first team. now everything makes sense. probably the best foreign player to ever play in our country. thanks for the video.
I am a Corinthians fan, Alex did caused me pain some times - but, man, this guy made football an Art again.
Not only he was sabotaged, he also have A LIMELIGHT HISTORY that could reach the movies.
A tragic champion, as in old greek tragedies.
