I went to an amazing show last night, danced my heart out under the starlight, I was overwhelmed with the light , filled up . I used to be a black out drinker and I’ve done so much work to get where I am today. I came home rather then going to the after party, I took a late night walk because I was still amped up, i ended my night stretching in the candlelight. It was wonderful, I ate the last piece of soda bread and caught an old voice in my head telling me “I’m not worthy” ,,, a flow of healing happened and I embraced it , I felt and knew in that moment that because I believe that things are as they are meant to be , then I am meant to be blessed when I’m blessed . I can and should lean into it while it’s happening, I don’t need to bring up a negative ( unworthiness) when I feel overwhelmed with gratitude, I don’t need to punish or shame myself for the past . I it’s not fair that things are so hard sometimes or for some people but that doesn’t mean I can’t lean fully into the grace when it’s happening . I don’t need to have survivor guilt. I felt deeply relieved, sobbed it out , and am filled with gratitude. Don’t know why, Just wanted to share . I guess my thought is ,there are so many things in life that challenge our light, and so many times that will be dark, so I don’t need to challenge and darken my own light unnecessarily anymore, let it shine.

Ironically back in October I booked a trip to Chile for the second half of March. We will be doing all kinds of hiking during the equinox. Something told me to do it for this time. And I listened. You just confirmed this.
