I started my witchcraft practice almost 2 years ago and through it I've been able to start connecting more to my German roots and having been inspired by my late Oma, am on the way to learning German; you and your videos have been a blessing in learning and practicing witchcraft through a Germanic view:) Dankeschon💚
My journey started in ‘92. I realized I was a little different, more sensitive. I’m just a natural witch, it’s where I’m most aligned. We had hardly any snow in NJ. I have discovered an abundance of chickweed. Also a very large patch of poison hemlock. I’m seeing that as proceed with caution & stay away from toxic people. Wishing you & your family a very Blessed Ostara 💚
May I make a suggestion. Don't say "just" a natural witch. Natural witches are awesome and so very much needed. Natural witches every bit a witch/wise woman as any other. Embrace it and love that about yourself. From another natural witch.
@@nannygranny9534 Thank you! I’m never sure how to refer to myself. I’m more no frills, low maintenance. Apparently one day, someone noticed my aura was engulfing the store I worked at😂
Wanted to add I am SO ready for our true spring weather!! This week will warm up but I know we’re not quite there yet but I’m hoping soon 🌸 ☀️ so excited for it . I love the change of our seasons here I always feel extra witchy and in tune with the earth as the wheel turns.
OMG they are so cute! I love how your son described how his body enjoyed the food a full body nurishing 😄 thank you for sharing the history of the word Ostara (those Mr.Grimm's 🙃) have a wonderful celebration
One thing I always feel drawn towards at the crack of spring, and being in the Pacific North West seems to be sprouting out of every culvert and sidewalk crack, is willow. Good old faithful in the herb cubbord, but more importantly it's one of the first trees in the area to show leaf-buds, and willow is legendary for helping cuttings root via a soak in willow water. It even freshens the skin and tightens pores when a chilled tisane is used to wash the face. It's green and fresh, grows like a weed at the first whif of spring, causes other things to grow like said weeds, and to me smells like a dewy morning walk. I think this year I'll make a charm from the new twigs to hang by the door, as a prayer for health and viggor in the comming year 😊!
Love the poem, the babbling brook, and soft piano music. This could be an ASMR, Bex. We are getting a little break from the rain (I'm in California). I also love that the new moon is on Ostara. Looking forward to celebrating this year. Thanks for the history lesson, tips, and ideas. (You're kids are adorable.)
I celebrated Ostara when i got home my ER job and paramedic school. Just a simple ritual and observation of the day and new seasons. I loved hearing the birds as I took my early morning walk the next day. Blessed Be
Hi Bex! First let me say that your crotch goblins are ADORABLE! My favorite part of Ostara was always dying eggs with my babies and now my grand baby. I can’t wait to try your bread nests; they’re clever and look yummy. Blessings to you and yours. 🥰🐣
I love how you find the time to effortlessly incorporate your practices into your day with your kids! I have a 14 month old and have neglected my witchy self a bit . This time has been precious though. And I do see and know that will change as time continues to move forward! I can’t wait to involve her . ❤
Psst....Hey Bex. Thanks for the video. Ostara, even as a goddess, is a derivative/dissemination from the Middle East and the Babylonia goddess Ishtar. Also a spring and fertility goddess. Hope you are having a beautiful equinox! BTW...always love your vids!
So glad to be one of the first to comment, any advice you would have for the broom closeted, male witch? Also happy Ostara, hope the cold clears up where I live soon.
Once again lovely vidio happy Ostara to you :D I am very busy with all the easter chocolate :D this years theme it the chicken or the egg and which one comes first :P🥚🐔🍫
Just came from the equinox ritual with my pagan group and I see a new Ostara Vlog from you, perfect timing. :D May the nature spirits bring you and your family a wonderful spring time. :)
A new video from my favorite witch is always a joy! Especially the segments where I get to see your beautiful children; they delight me so. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You feel like family to me. ❤
It's a lovely sunny day, 29°F and still snow on the ground, in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm missing the budding of my forsythia at home, but will enjoy Ostara in the cold North. Thank you for sharing your celebration with us. Blessed Ostara to you 🌞
Hi Bex, just re watching this video, for inspiration. Many thanks for the lovely poem, which now sits happily in one of my Books of Light. Blessings to you & yours doll. XXX
Thanks for another beautiful, magickal video! I'm going to mix up the nest dough tonight and pop it in the fridge until morning to bake for my kiddo before school. Happy equinox!
Here in my northeast corner of Alberta, Canada, Spring isn't springing yet. Still have lots of snow on the ground. The weather has turned warmer so it won't be long now before that's gone. I call this between time Wintering. It's not Spring yet, but it doesn't feel like Winter anymore. Last week I definitely felt a whisper of Spring coming. Been making sure to draw the sun into my house and embrace it's warmth. This is great for the the arthritis 😊. One way I know Spring is finally here is my maples out front will leaf. They're still tightly in bud mode at the moment. I love how pretty your eggs are and have inspired me to do some of my dyeing this year. 😊
I literally let out a little cry of happiness when I see you have uploaded a video! I can’t wait to try your beautiful colored eggs with the lovely plant designs. I also love to watch what you cook and bake. My mouth just waters. What also warms my heart are your absolutely beautiful and adorable children who seem to appreciate and enjoy being in the kitchen helping with the preparations and digging into your wholesome homemade food. If everyone embraced just a little of your cooking habits, we would all be much healthier and happier. Love from Michigan, USA❤
Thank you. Your videos are so beautifully done. It's an escape to a cozy peaceful time. Could have down without that bit of M. Manson trivia though. Thats a vision my memory wants to escape FROM , lol
I've learned so much more about witchy stuff from you than I have in any other aspect of my life :D Thank you I love this! I want to get my son in to enjoy with me and seeing your son do it gives me hope :D
Take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the effort put into these videos. The camera shots are beautiful. well done editing like this takes a ton of time.
This was fun Bex, I love how you dyed your eggs, they look fantastic and the bread looks delicious. Your little ones are growing so fast and Lilith should be turning one soon, if I'm correct. 🥳It's amazing to see how your son has become quite the young wizard. He really enjoys helping you with all of your magical doings and all he has to do is show us that big, bright, sunny smile of his, and he enchants us all. 🥰 Much love and blessings to you and your family. And Happy Spring! 💐🌸🌹💮🌻🌼🌺🌷🐣🐦🌱🌳
Thankyou so much for this lovely video, I am so excited about celebrating Ostara for the first time, as I am a beginner witch. That recipe sounds absolutely delicious, I hope to try it out < 3 I am trying to get into kitchen witchcraft and was thinking about making some bread, this was perfectly timed. Your little ones are so adorable, it is amazing how they have grown!
Thank you for sharing this with us. Glad that you are feeling better! I love the eggs and the nests. I might have to do that this year I think it would be nice for me and my son to try.
I love your videos and I love that you share your wisdom and your mom stuff..my children and I always watch together and come away lighter then when we started
hinreißend... deine kl Mäuse 😍 Ich liebe deine Videos. Neben aller lehrreichen und spannenden Info, bleibt zuguterletzt immer eine Riesenportion Positivität und Lebensfreude im Raum 🌻♥ Thank you so much...
How beautiful are the eggs and no better way to begin spring than watch your video. Re-energizes me. Hope you are feeling well. Receive any wee packages lately?😊
The white one was either calcite or quartz and the black one looked like tourmaline, both good stones for cleansing for different reasons. Stones are what piqued my interest in the mystical arts since I was a child. Was the little one with flowers in her hair and rocks in her pocket, that happiness and peace are what I focus on in my spiritual practice. I wanted to say thank you for your channel and the blessing it is to all. I would love to attend one of your conferences in the future if I can make it from the US.
Thank you 😊 I didn't know about purple cabbage for blue. But I have always used onion skins and plants... we used to have family competitions for who did the best dyed eggs... Happy times and memories ❤️
ostara blessings to you and your family i love your videos so much they have helped me understand some of the things i didnt understand and im beginning to find my path way
I loved this! Your children are so precious and such healthy eaters! I especially loved the beautiful eggs you made! I need to try dyeing them that way. I'm going to hollow them out because they are just too pretty not to keep!
Happy Ostara! Unfortunately there is not even a glimpse of spring yet where I live. We have several feet of snow on the ground and it’s still somewhat cold. I wish I could go for a hike in the woods or even see some early spring flowers, that won’t happen for a few months yet. 🌸🌺🌷
A family tradition that I believe my granddad started have the Easter eggs being hidden by the Easter roaster who lais the eggs himself and then fly in through the chimney to hide them, leaving a little note hinting at where the egs might be found.

Have you ever tried Tumeric for the yellow?
