I just woke up and watched this as soon as I was conscious, it put me in the nose zen, happy mindset. Love this format and ASMR style delivery. Beautiful guitar too
Watching this reminded me that I don't think I've seen anyone do a one piece neck with skunk stripe (to me the most fendery thing ever) maybe do an inverted one with one piece dark wood and maple skunk?
That seemed to be a very thin clear coat or were we shown just part of the spray? Why was a second clear coat applied? did you sand through the first one?
Only part of the process was shown, all guitars I spray with gloss normally get two sessions in the booth minimum to ensure the lacquer is thick enough to avoid sand throughs. No sand throughs, just only showed part of the process! I will be doing a more in depth spraying/finishing video at some point! - Matt

Great video !
Glad you enjoyed it
Good lookin' burst.
To cut down on waste and clean up time, have you considered using something like 3m's PPS in your spray booth??

How do you guys get away with the Fender headstock? Is it because you're in the UK?
That knot and crack will bite someone in the near future.

The glassy shine of nitro being sprayed.
Sigh.
Love this... but... aw man, my eyes keep being drawn to that blemish on the back. Still desperate to win it though.
It's also what makes it individual and recognisably yours amongst a tidal wave of sunburst strats.
@@PaulCooksStuff Agreed!
Don't show the completed guitar until you've completed it.
Just like Ben's videos but completely devoid of soul, humor, or personality. OK, so nothing like Ben's...
