    If you warm up your metal it will bend more easy.
    You are quite a beautiful artist.

      I just needed a bit of leverage. I pushed it against the floor and it bent no problem!

    Loved the pendant 😍 St.John turning out 👌👌👌Love the idea of butterfly on a stepping stone. Coincidentally Jennifer Kuhns is currently engaged in a community project featuring butterflies 🦋💜💜💜 You all so inspire me but I am still resting my hands on medical advice. Feel bad as I had just started on mosaics in Jan.2022 only. Hope to resume in 6 months. Will use that time to observe y'all n learn ❤
    And yes the new 🌻's gonna look gorgeous !!! How could I forget 😍
    And I absolutely adore the rose bouquets. Can't wait to make some myself 🙂

      Rupa- you are not alone!!! I know so many people right now that are healing from injuries or surgeries and having to wait until they are healed fully to resume doing what they love! Hang in there. I hope you are making a list of all the projects you want to make so you don't forget! Take care.

    St John is looking amazing! Love the other projects as well. Julie, will you please refresh my memory or point me to a video about using mirror? I can't remember what you said about the backing, or maybe it was the adhesive, eroding. Thanks.

    • @mazzonimosaics8222
      @mazzonimosaics8222  Рік тому +1

      Thank you Donna! Mirror just needs a neutral cure adhesive. Mirror mastic is one option, but Weldbond is neutral cure as is silicone.

    I would love to make a “mini” frame flower and have bought 2 at Michael’s. Do you work directly onto the glass or on the thin board underneath?

  • @suzeq555
    @suzeq555 Рік тому +1

    Hi Julie on one of your videos you had posted Davinci frames from Jerry s artarama? For a mini 4x4 and 4x6 I can utilize the opposite flat paint canvas site inset. Attach a hanger to the flat side? I can't find the video:) Thanks !

    • @mazzonimosaics8222
      @mazzonimosaics8222  Рік тому

      I think you mean cradle board? All the art stores carry them for painting. If I'm using the inset side I often spray paint the "frame" part before I start as it is difficult to paint afterwards.

    Is there any type of glass which is an absolute no for use outdoors in freeze thaw climates - SE Oklahoma .

    • @mazzonimosaics8222
      @mazzonimosaics8222  Рік тому +1

      Glass is waterproof, so it is fine outside. There are some glass tiles that shouldn't be used outside because the backing fades.
