Having had my Morpilot water flosser for a full year I thought I'd give it a review. It really has kept my gums clean by irrigating them after brushing every day for the last 12 months. I would highly recommend this device since I rarely have to charge it and it gets your teeth to that extra level of clean. As I demonstrate in the video you think you get your teeth cleaner than you could your electric toothbrush alone, with the water flosser you can always get more bits out! Having used a water flosser now, I'd never go back to using floss or inter-dental brushes.

Best part... you waited a year! How many reviews do we get with “unboxing”. I could give a damn about how it’s boxed. After a year it’s been tested and you can truly give it a thumbs up or down. I bought a Waterpick that takes batteries. One stopped working after 2 months. The warranty replacement water pick stopped after eight months. No more of that brand for me. One improvement could have been a comment on how long the water in the tank lasted on floss n massage. (Why do we need to massage our gums? Go to a China town massage parlor. Then request a ‘Swedish gum’.) thanks again.
Thank you for your positive comment. Yes I agree about the unboxing, I'm guilty of doing reviews as soon as I get a product, I was fortunate when I made this review in that I had been using the product for a year when I started my channel. But this is my most viewed review so perhaps that is why so something to think about for me. Yes I think something I missed was saying how long the tank lasts when it's on; typically it lasts me a couple of cleans, probably 3 at most.
Fantastic review if I floss do you think i need this as well ? Best wishes Steve .
I avoided that brand after looking at their website and seeing reviews. Full of pitter patter about how they were first and patented it. Who cares? DOES IT WORK and has anyone made one better and cheaper? I bought a H2O flosser and it's so powerful. I'm still on setting one out of five and it makes my gums bleed. Really does get the crap out of your mouth quickly though after eating oats and stuff.
You should do more product reviews. The way you presented this and the length and information was perfect. Not to much, not to little. Everything somebody needs to make a buying decision. I have watched 30 or so reviews on flossers and yours is the best. Thanks - I live in Philippines so they don't have that brand but i can see its OEM made for many brands and i'll order the same model just a different name..
Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate your positive comments! I've just been finding my way and seeing what kind of content seems to work best. I still use the water flosser now so am convinced it's a good buy.

@@BenPaton81 When you brush your teeth, gargle some water and rince your mouth out a few times before brushing your teeth and after you finish brushing your teeth, rince again.
I have a waterpik and I wasn't really a believer until one time I brushed my teeth really well and I decided, screw it, I'll give it a shot... It still brought out a crap ton of particles I think from even a long time ago! 🤢 Afterwards my gums felt super clean as if I just went to the dentist, and I no longer have that constant dirty-even-though-i-brushed feeling
Yeah seems like you had the same experience I did when I first used one! Thanks for commenting!
This is good to know as I've just bought one and wondered if it'll be worth it!
Tip: give it enough rare candies and it’ll evolve into a pressure washer
Thanks for the tip! lol
Lol hilarious
Gotta Brush 'em all!
@@Cial 🤣
I love water flossers too. I find using interdental brushes and a tongue scraper before using a water flosser to get rid of the final remnants works well for me.
Thanks for your comment, nice to hear from someone who enjoys water flossers too!
Thank you so much for making this video! I just got the same water flosser and basically turned the bathroom into a water park. Thankfully a friend shared this video with me and things went a lot smoother after that. Again, thank you for sharing this!
I'm really glad my review helped you. It's comments like this that make it worthwhile. I do think water flossers would make excellent water pistols for kids in the summer.
So funny. Love the heads up. Thanks for the chuckle
A tiny adjustment i've found from my dentist, use the flosser to remove most of the stuff first, then use the toothbrush to polish, using water on the toothpaste is washing off the protective coating which strengthens the enamel, think of it as a knight putting on armour, gets caught in acid rain and it melts off to leave the internal leather padding behind. i got the philips sonic 3000 version and that has done me well for almost a year since it came out!
Yes I have since heard this too that the flosser washes off the protective benefits of the toothbrushing so should be done before brushing rather than afterwards.
I'm in my mid fifties, and had bleeding gums when flossing pretty much my entire life. (ever since I started flossing at all, which was in my teens). I had just accepted that for me, it was normal, and nothing could be done. However, I no longer have ANY bleeding. I haven't done anything major, but I am simply flossing more often (after every main meal if possible), and always rinse with a mouthwash. (I'm using Listerine Total). I have also switched to an electric toothbrush. I do (or did) have mild periodontal disease, but the bleeding stopped without having any special treatment. I pinch myself every time I floss now - it is hard to believe I've finally stopped the bleeding! Btw, I'm here because I've just received a Waterpik as a gift, but I'm not sure it's really necessary (for me). I'll see how I go with it though.
Hi Greg thanks for you comment, I'd be interested to hear if you rate your waterpik over regular floss or not once you've give it a go for a while.
Listerine also kills the good germs in your mouth…

I have the same issue with my gum every time bleeding even with this water flosser
I just happened to have bought the same water flosser yesterday and stumbled on your review while looking for tips as I was spraying water all over the bathroom mirror! Good to see that you have used yours for a year before reviewing it (It arrived and looks pretty is NOT a review!). Informative and down to earth. I can see how it works in addition to a good tooth brush right there with your cereal.
Glad you found my review useful, thanks for your comment!
I had one for Christmas, always had gum problems and bleeding, i must say it is life changing, in the beggining i used reduced speed to get used to it, it made my gums bleed and was a bit painful but i knew if i kept using it everyday it would help now one week later no more bleeding and my mouth feels very fresh and clean, this is a life changing for me and i recommend it to everyone.
Glad you have had such a positive experience with your water flosser! Thanks for sharing.
You can keep your mouth slightly open which allows the water to pour out water constantly. Also flossing should come before brushing... The flouride from tooth paste protects your teeth
I prefer to keep my mouth closed otherwise I find it sprays all over the bathroom
I got braces two months ago and it has been very difficult for me to clean my teeth since then. I was looking for Water flosser reviews and you saved my day! Thanks a lot for the "how to use it" part and review.
Glad I could help!
I laughed when he demonstrated how far the water can be squirted! Sounds like you could even have a little fun with that water flosser 😃😃
Amazing tips, thanks. Didn’t know I had to shut my mouth!! Lol I literally had water everywhere !
Glad it helped!
Same 😂
Great review! Really appreciate the fact that it's a year review, and not just 1 test run. Definitely gonna buy one now!
Great to hear! I don't think you will regret buying a water flosser!
I rarely floss with the tape because it always gets stuck and breaks up so thanks to this very informative video I've bought one from amazon.
Glad the video helped you and also persuaded you to buy a water flosser. Hopefully you will find it beneficial 😊
Make your own from a regular twist garden hose nozzle reduced down to a 1/8 hole attached to your sink warm/cold, no electricity required, never wears out and you could also clean your sidewalk with it ! - super powerful to gentle and no fin around you will love it super handy !
Interesting idea, think I would rather just stick with my water flosser
I've had mine for 7 years and it's still going strong (wireless/battery operated)- far easier than using the stringy crap that you don't need to buy in such large quanties anymore, much cheaper in the long run and easy to do.
Thanks for sharing, I totally agree!
Can u give me the mark please ?
you forgot to tell using a cup of mouth wash also prevents alge / moss formation inside the tank or the tube... self cleaning.
Yes great point that makes sense and you know to now I'd never really thought about that.
Wrong. Most waterpiks acutally state you shouldnt do this or use too warm water cuz it damages the device
Talking about review: this is worth every second of watching it. Thank you as I am convinced now of the quality of this product. I was going to buy the one with the big tank but you convinced me that it is more inconvenient than necessary. Thumb up all the way to the sky
Glad it was helpful! Yeah these are just as good as the big tank ones and take up less room.
"Other cereals are available" LOL made me laugh for some reason HAHA
😊
Me too 😂
Returned from the orthodontist yesterday and got told my braces have made my gums become inflamed etc (it’s a bit of a struggle to floss with braces and brushing too) so I heard about water flosser and just ordered one from Amazon today! It arrives tomorrow so I hope it helps, thank you for the really descriptive review! It was exactly what I needed to know (:
No problem I think these are probably a great way to get braces clean.
Just bought one and so pleased to find you review. Shows us just how to use it without drowning the bathroom . Thank you !!
Glad it was helpful!
You did a fantastic job. I couldn’t get my glosser to work. Glad I am not only one that sprayed bathroom
The key is keeping your mouth closed around it!
Great Video. Thank you Just bought one. Takes a few days to get used to but very happy with my purchase.
Great to hear!
I got one for Christmas I'm still getting used to it haha one day I'll get it without spraying water all over the mirror and the floor lol it does an amazing job though!
I have the Waterpick (manufacturers name) model and it is fantastic, but I use it every time I eat anything so it gets used 20 to 30 times a day (I’m retired so am at home all the time) which means the battery needs recharging ever 2 to 3 days which is no problem as it has a two year guarantee. But whatever model you use it is certainly the best & most effective way of cleaning your teeth.
Thanks for your comment John... 20 or 30 times a day? That sounds like a lot, make sure you don't wear out your gums! I think you should only be using it once or twice a day or after main meals ideally. Take care.
Hi yes I’ve had it about 5 month now and have told the dentist who has seen me three times in that period and says it is fine and my mouth and gums are now looking perfect, and a lot better than when I was only brushing with an electric toothbrush once a day. I’m 73 and had suddenly started getting more cavities than I had been which he said was because I had not been cleaning effectively
These things are surprisingly powerful from just a small device with a USB charger. Mine is 21watt and it said it goes from 40psi to 140psi! I'm still on setting 1 and it hurts, although I am recovering from gingivitis. I am the same with oaty cereal with lots of hard bits. I love it, but it doesn't love my teeth and brushing never gets it all out and I have to use interdental brushes and floss picks. This is a game changer since I bought one. Warm water is a must though, as cold water seems to hurt. I do this before brushing and so much food comes out into the sink!
Great comment, really sums up the experience of using one of these. I agree I think if you have sensitive teeth it can be a bit too much. Hopefully when you overcome your gingivitis it will stop hurting.
@@BenPaton81 Thanks. after the weekend my gums feel a lot better and I'm able to go up to setting 2 and 3 now. I like the massaging sensation against the gums and I often use this after oaty cereal to get all the crap out of my mouth.
Great review, you covered everything I was wondering about. Thanks 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I was looking for a year after ownership video. Exceptionally useful.
Thanks for saying the video is useful!
Awesome video..I bought my first water flosser yesterday and I only regret not getting one sooner.
Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying the benefits of your water flosser
Well done, I just got one of these and am watching videos how to use it, I like your down to earth honest review best, thanks.
Thanks for saying so!
This is awesome. I have the same issues with my gums bleeding with traditional flossing
Definitely you recommend you get yourself one from Amazon, you don't have buy a very expensive one, all the ones around the £30 price point are about the same.
great video. its nice to see reviews after a year and not right out of the box.. thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
I recently purchased the exact model you used in the video. It's a good water pik. Thanks for the tip in putting a little mouthwash in the reservoir its a time saver in the morning.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you find this a good model.
You’ve Influenced me to buy this now 🥰
Good, they are worthwhile purchase much easer than using dental floss I think
Thank you! Just bought a waterflosser and now I see your review. I have more or less the same model. My display is exact the the same. Thank your for your perfect presentation of how to use it! The other ways of flossing are not that hard but if you visit the teeth talk by withney you see how to floss with a thread ! Good luck with your channel Ben Paton!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the review!
The best line 'other cereals are available'.
Thanks I'm glad someone liked that
Absolutely brilliant review, thorough, fun and excellent !

This is an incredible, helpful video. Perfectly presented. I've been considering a water flosser and I think I will go for it now.

Just bought one off the back of this video and have to say it’s ace! I did spray water all over myself and my mirror took a beating but yeah for around 25-30 quid you can’t go wrong
@@Prog4Prog Glad to hear that you got one, I still think it's a good product and mines still going strong.

Thank you for this video. Your review is very helpful. It clarified all my doubts.
Glad it was helpful!
I was looking for the charging socket and couldn't find it, until you removed that rubber bit. I thought they send me the wrong cable and almost return it hahahaha. Thank you
I'm glad my video helped you find it!
I usually water floss anywhere from 3-5 seconds per teeth before I move on to the other one. You need to concentrate on the teeth gum pockets to make sure you get the crap out of there. If you just move it around quickly you're just getting the surface particulates off
Good tip, thanks!
Great review , very through , my sis bought me one for xmas , she uses hers in the shower , she said it can be a mess, love the mouthwash idea.
Thanks, remind you sister to keep her mouth closed around it, that way it's less messy!

This was a great way to show how us, by doing a real test. Saw Facebook ad for flosser and took it AS a sign. Bough a silly cheap years ago, sucked and never used. But time to try again and hope it can take some old plaque too 😺Subscribed
Hopefully you will find this model or one similar better than the previous one you bought, perhaps they have moved on since you last tried one.
Wow.....super thanks for sharing.... a great review....and awesome you have the experience of a year of using it...super thanks!!
Thanks!
Cant go wrong with the off brands sold on Amazon. I paid $39.00 taxes in for a stationary water flosser. I had a portable name brand waterpik flosser and it was great but I didnt like how little of water it held and I paid double price compared to the one I have now.
Waterflossers are great, gives your teeth a really good clean.
Totally agree!
Is the new one as good as the Waterpik was?
@@buzdug even better.
Don't forget, always leave at least 30 mins between eating and brushing your teeth :)
Honestly I didn't know this was a thing?
@@BenPaton81 Yeah man, look it up. Brushing after eating can cause your enamel to erode due to the increased acidity in your mouth after eating.
Thanks!
@@BenPaton81 also stay far away from fluoride....!!!!!
@@chicofromph33nix64 but i thought flouride is good for teeth?
Best video ever for review product.thank you
Thanks, glad you liked my review
Great job, clear and to the point. You could use plaque disclosing tablets or toothpaste to show how effective the Morpilot, toothbrush, manual flossing etc., are. If the process is thorough, it will clear all the dye away. Its also a way to find if the clone flossers, vs the original Waterpik, which has a defined water pressure and narrower tip size, indeed makes or doesn't make a difference. Thank you.
Great point!
Got a waterpik for Christmas and I have disclosing tablets I was thinking g of doing exactly this haha great minds
You were a big help! Ive got the same brand in black from Walmart, and couldn’t figure out how to detach the water tank - thank you!!!!! 😜
Glad my video helped!
Not a criticism, but my understanding is that if your gums bleed when you floss, you probably need to floss MORE. My dentist told me that a water flosser is a supplement to string flossing, not a replacement. But I also know that one's dental hygiene regimen has to be something you can stick with every day, so do what works for you. Peace.
Thanks yeah I agree, actually now a couple of years one I have gone back to string flossing as my teeth became sensitive to cold water
Thanks. I just soaked my bathroom and dressing gown, should have found your video first.
Lol
Just went to the dentist this week. The hygienist told me that studies show WaterPik is as good or better at cleaning off plaque than dental floss, but only if you use it at number 7 strength or higher, which is only available on the regular WaterPik, not the portable. So if you use the portable, you should still also use dental floss.
Thank you for sharing that insight
Thanks bro. Very good review
Glad it helped!
Loved your video
Thank you!!
Isn't it a good idea to use the water flosser before the brush? This is to keep the flouride and sodium chloride and allow to be absorbed
Good point!
Yes this is what I do, otherwise i will brush my teeth and then wait 30 mins before using the water flosser (easy to do this in 2020 when I havent been going to the office and just working from home!!)
Thank you this was a great help you should do more content like this your breakdowns are wonderful
Thanks, will do!
That actually was a wonderful review thank you very much It was quite helpful 👍👍
Glad you liked it, thank you for your comment.
I like the subconscious ad there
Thanks I think...
Thank you so much for making this video. You did great.
Thank you, glad it was helpful!
The floss does not make your teeth bleed. Your gums bleed because you are not flossing.
The only way we can make sure the waterpik works is by taking x-rays and checking bone levels and looking for sub-gingival calculus on those x-rays.
Oral irrigators must be used as adjuncts; they do not replace flossing. The debris you see in the sink after using the water floss is what we call Materia alba (food); it is not plaque, which is 94% made out of bacteria.
Thank you for the information. I did mean make my gums bleed and not teeth but for some reason I said teeth in this video.
I'd been wondering if these devices were only good for people with braces. Good to know it works for everyone. Helpful review, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
You're supposed to use the string floss in addition to the water flosser. If your gums bleed, it means you aren't flossing enough. The water floss should not be a replacement for the string floss.
Thanks
I bought this model EasyFloss to clean my dog's teeth. Works like a charm. Used a couple of Chlorine Dioxide in the water.
That's a good use for a water flosser, I hadn't thought about them being useful for dogs teeth before but I don't see why not as long as the dog doesn't mind it
Thanks sir, Informative, practical and not too long

I have been using the same one for about 2 months and works great, one tip tho, you are using it way too fast, follow the gumline a bit inclined at a 45 degree angle and pause for 2 seconds in each tooth ;) should be atleast 2-3 min or a bit more, better slower and cleaner!

Interesting stuff, I've not heard of anyone using peroxide in a water flosser before
very in depth maybe i need this
Thanks, yeah I still recommend this model now.
I just bought the wp562 flosser.
Another option is to never brush, the teeth build up a coat of armour that protects them, not many people do it though.
That is an idea but I heard that 'armour' is so good the teeth usually dissolve underneath as they are no longer needed
@@BenPaton81 Then just use the armour to chew, they will get stronger and stronger as more crud builds up
