Hi Nicole!
Now I can have more chocolate and not feel soooo guilty!! 🤗
Thank you for this wonderful "healthier" brownie recipe.
Have a great day!
Haha Dalila :) You will love these! I'm so glad I can share (mostly) guilt-free chocolate indulgence :)
i can't wait to try this recipe, love that it is healthier than the conventional brownies but does not lack the texture and taste!
I'm so excited for you to try these! I promise you won't miss all the processed sugar and white flour in traditional brownies :) Let me know how they turn out for you!
Need to try this ! Yummy
Hi Karrie, yes, you definitely need to try these! And let me know what you think of the flavor :)
so i hit like right after watching video cause course, i really "liked it' sure looked yummy!! I happen to have most of the ingredients! i was a bit short on my almond flour so replaced what was missing with coconut flour ! I didn't have that coconut sugar, so compensated with swerve brown, i added a few walnuts to the mix rather than more choc chips! And i wish to GOD there was a "love" button" on that list because WOW! it was like beyond my expectations!!! It's just exploding with great taste! thank you so much for sharing your awesome talent!! 😍😘😊
Oh my goodness Joanne, I'm so excited you love these as much as I do!! Those are great substitution ideas! Can I ask a small favor? Could you share a rating and even 'copy and pasting' what you wrote here to this recipe on my website? I appreciate it! gentletummy.com/best-gluten-free-brownies-naturally-sweetened-almond-flour-recipe
@@gentletummy done! 😁😘
@@joanne4514 thank you so much! :)
Crust is my favorite!!!
I am 'team crust' too :)
Definitely going to try making these. I love that you have cut down on the sugar and swapping the white flour for almond flour to make a healthier version for us chocoholics .
Hi Sherry, yes, you need to try these :) Let me know how they turn out. You'll never miss the white flour and sugar! :)
I'll eat all the crusts!
Agreed! No brownie piece should ever go to waste...haha :)
Love your brownies. Can I substitute eggs to others ingredients?
Hi Sharon, thank you! I haven't tried it yet, but you could try a ground flaxseed egg substitute. Here are some instructions I found online...
To substitute ground flaxseed for 1 egg in baking, you can follow these simple steps:
Measure out 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed for each egg you want to replace.
In a small bowl, combine the ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water. Mix well until the mixture becomes thick and gel-like. This forms a flaxseed "egg."
Let the mixture sit for about 5 to 10 minutes to allow it to thicken further. This step is crucial as it helps the flaxseed mixture bind and function more like an egg.
Once the flaxseed mixture has thickened, it is ready to be used as an egg substitute in your baking recipe.
Incorporate the flaxseed "egg" into your recipe as you would with a regular egg. Add it to the wet ingredients and mix well.
It's important to note that using flaxseed as an egg substitute may alter the texture and flavor of your baked goods slightly. Flaxseed adds moisture and binding properties but doesn't provide the same leavening ability as eggs. Therefore, it works best in recipes where eggs are used as a binding agent rather than for leavening.
@@gentletummy Thank you so much!
Can you leave out the almond butter? Your recipes sound great! Can't wait to try it!
I haven't tried it without the almond butter, but I'm sure it would work :) Let me know how it turns out. You could definitely substitute peanut butter.
@@gentletummy Thank you! I will let you know how it works. ❤️
I'd love to try this recipe. Due to a coconut allergy, I can't use coconut sugar. If I want to substitute it with raw turbinado sugar, would that be a 1-1 substitute? Thank you 🙏
Hi Hanaa! I haven't tried subbing turbinado sugar, but here is what I found doing a quick Google search: "You can substitute 1 cup of turbinado sugar for 1 cup of coconut sugar (1:1 ratio). Turbinado is not as moist as regular brown sugar, so its texture is more similar to coconut sugar."
@@gentletummy thank you so much! Will give it a try ☺️
what if i wanted to have no sugar besides honey and or maple. is there a version where I add more maple syrup or add some honey and avoid the coconut sugar?
That is a very good question :) I haven't tested this yet, but I would omit the coconut sugar, increase the maple syrup to 1/2 cup, and increase the almond flour to 1 cup. You could make a 1/2 batch to see if you like the result before committing to a full batch :)
@@gentletummy Great idea.. Thank you!!!!! Look forward to trying it, will let you know how it goes.
@@zatara11 fantastic! :)
It works with no coconut sugar. I made the changes you recommended and it works. I put 1/4 tsp of stevia (could of done more).
Thank you!!!
If you cut your brownies with a plastic knife you never have to wipe it.
Hi Roger, thank you for the tip!! I think I may need to make a batch of brownies today so I can test it out :)
