    ALMOND FLOUR BREAD RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
    2¼ cups blanched almond flour
    ¼ cup ground flaxseed
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon fine texture sea salt (such as Real Salt)
    5 eggs
1 tbsp honey (see note about honey below)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Save & Print the Full Recipe here: www.elizabethr...
Note on honey: For anyone wondering, the honey has an acidic PH, which helps to activate the baking soda and improves the texture of the bread (it's not there for sweetness).
    EASY CHIA SEED JAM INGREDIENTS
    2 cups frozen mixed berries
    1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons raw honey (more or less to taste)
    2 tablespoons chia seeds

Thank you for letting us know 🙂 there’s also a great way of reversing your mother’s diabetes if you didn’t know. She can do that simply by fasting and following a low-carb diet. Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Josh Axe both recommend that. Especially Dr. Fung because he treats people with diabetes and obesity. Check him out!

I'm not a fan of almond bread but this bread is easy to make and very tasty. As for the jam recipe, I have no words! Finally something with no sugar or sweetener, just a little honey. Adding the chia seeds is just brilliant. THANK YOU Elizabeth !

Just remember that both honey and other sweeteners such as Agave ARE sugar; they're not any better from a metabolic health POV than sugar (you can reference Dr. Lustig for this)

    • @elsabefourie7980
      @elsabefourie7980 5 місяців тому +2

@@ElGuerreroMaya artificial sweeteners are just as the name says; artificial and no good for you. I don't believe that honey falls into that category and it
is a far more healthier option. A small amount is not harmful, and has healing and medicinal properties.

I just came across your bread recipe. I am pretty sure I've been following your almond flour cookies recipe for some time (and they are a household favorite). My husband is on a paleo diet, and he has missed bread. The rest of us are trying to eat cleaner, especially since all the gunk in foods nowadays. Because of the gunk in foods, I am researching how to make my own bread from home. I started researching my favorite bread: sourdough. I was becoming overwhelmed 😅. My husband saw me scrolling on bread forums and on a whim, asked if I found a recipe for bread made with almond bread. I did a search and came across this video.
Luckily, we had most items in our pantry, everything except ground flaxseed. So I said I would give it a try. I stopped at the store on my way to visit my mother and my grandmother. Unfortunately, the store I went to only had ground flaxseed meal. I purchased it and figured I would see how it came out.
I ended up making the recipe at my mother's house (she is allergic to gluten and was interested in how it came out). We only had 2 small bread pans, so we made two batches with the recipe as is (to ensure the pans were only half full and would cook all the way through). Everyone at my mother's house tried one loaf of bread after it cooled from the oven and everyone loved it! It did have the texture of cornbread and had a look of having herbs. I think it may be because of the flaxseed meal, so I ordered ground flaxseed from Amazon, and it will get to me tomorrow. I brought the second (untouched) loaf home, and my husband had a slice and immediately went back for 2 more!! He is happy to have bread in his life again!!
I am excited to try this recipe again tomorrow when the ground flaxseed comes in! If it tastes even better, I don't know if I will even attempt to make any other bread. Our family may just live off this bread 😅. I was not looking forward to starting/maintaining a sourdough starter since that was the bread I was planning on making right out of the gate 😅
You have really spoken to me with the minimal ingredients, minimal effort, and delicious flavor!
Highly recommend anyone reading this (especially those I shared this link with 😂) to try this bread!!

You can skip the eggs, honey/sweetners, as I did. And still turned out great. I also added extra baking soda (1 tsp) and lemon juice (half a lemon) to help leaven the bread a bit more.
I also added 1 tbsp of psyllium husk powder for more fibre.

Dear Ms Elizabeth - first, I’m grateful to the Lord Jesus for leading me to this recipe. Second of all, thank you for your hard work in putting this so yummy bread recipe . I confess I am picky with some ingredients and at first I was hesitant about the flaxseed but I did it anyway. Omg, it’s smell great in my kitchen and it was still warm and I ate a generous slice of this bread with a good butter and vegan cream cheese. It was perfect and this will now be my go-to bread from now on. I topped this bread with sesame seeds and it completes it. 🙏❤️🌸👌

I've made this bread three times now, using almond pulp from homemade almond milk. The first time, I used dried pulp and the bread turned out very dry. The second time, I used 1.3/4 C loosely packed moist pulp and 1/2 cup blanched almond meal from the store. I separated the egg yolks and whites and beat the whites until soft peaks formed and folded them into the batter. The bread was soft, moist and fluffy. Perfect toasted! This time, I beat the whole eggs very well before adding the rest of the ingredients and it turned out just as good as last time. So, now I have a reacipe for healthy bread that's easy to make, uses my fresh almond pulp and tastes delicious. Thanks you, Elizabeth!

This recipe is so flawless! Baked bread for the very first time and this came out SO well. My kitchen smells heavenly. I do agree with some of the comments here that it tastes more like cake but that works for me. The jam is bloody good too! For both recipes I used brown rice malt syrup (to cut down on fructose) instead of honey and doubled the quantity of it. This bread goes so well with the jam, it helps me with sugar cravings. I’ve never baked anything before that’s turned out so damn well and is so tasty too! Thank you @Elizabeth Rider. Going to check out your other recipes now!

I have been using almond flour in a lot of recipies recently and its great, it can be used in everything and doesnt really taste any different than normal flour when you use it. I often replace half my gluten free flour mix with almond flour and the other half is usually Sorghum or Brown rice flour. I find adding just a bit of either of those adds more structure.

Just made mine, used only one whole egg plus egg whites equivalent to 3 large eggs, dough came up too thick, had to add water to often it up,but still came out amazing- feels more cake-like than bread-like, cooling down 3 slices right now, looking forward to taking a taste later in the day- though I love warm home-made bread, I have a feeling cooling this will make it feel more bread-like, which is what I was trying for! Looks and smells delish!! Oh! My husband just had a taste- he is absolutely bought!!!

Okay, l tried both recipes. Delicious! I used baking powder in the bread instead of soda and a little more vinegar. I substituted the honey with monk fruit sweetener because I'm on keto. I love the jam. I added the chia seeds at the beginning so it wasn't too crunchy. It tastes more like preserves. Also added juice from a whole lemon and sweetened with monk fruit sweetener. Thanks for the receipes. They were easy to follow and straight to the point. *****
