    Seriously! Water bottle thru an open window? Only a veteran HTRR presenter picks out stuff like that! And conveniently placed after a funny baguette placement! Chapeau, sir!

    Still the best race-related media out there. I know I still rewatch old episodes pretty often. Best of luck in your future endeavors, Cosmo.

    Please keep these up as often as you can. I've only discovered them lately and even though I watched the race and know racing inside out, I find them very interesting and fun to watch as you spot little things that even I didn't see first time around.

    Another fine dissection of a race. Cosmo you are truly talented and it makes me so joyful I want to toss a French baguette at my cycling buddies while they run stop signs. Please keep up the great work and it honestly baffles me how someone has not hired you for full time analysis or commentary. Oh that's right the good old boys network has got you firmly locked out. You know making Phil and Paul look like bumbling idiots would be too much for the UCI and network cronies to swallow. Now I must go locate a French baguette. Cheers!

    Must be the 100th time I watched this video, but I just noticed for the first time that Lars Bak crashed both in this race and in the cobble stage of the 2014 TdF, and both times at 38 km to go in a corner of a pave sector into the crowd of spectators.

    Thanks, this is my favourite cycling classic by far. Great suspense also this year with Degenkolb deserved winner. The day before I wrote down four cyclists and they ended 1, 2, 3, 4. Unfortunately this was not for money :(

    Baguettes near miss, getting TGV'd near miss, and open window bottle toss no-miss; surely Cosmo has managed to concise this year's Roubaix in a way that, other than himself, only a French reporter would have. Bien dit, Cosmo, bien dit.

    The Frenchest way to crash ever! Nice.
    An odd race. Always look forward to P-R but even though there was a lot going on this year somehow the finale was a bit flat. Pleased for Dege though, a great winner and another 2015 classic won on brains.

    Stay with leaders, stay with leaders, stay with leaders, stay in the wheel at the velodrome till last bend, sprint, win.

    In UK got 100% coverage but this year wasn't a classic. The uci need to address the train crossing as those riders shooting through the closed gates risked their lives for nothing as race neutralised till paton got back together... Crazy.

    Has anyone EVER seen Stybar take a good pull?

    • @brianfastabend7360
      @brianfastabend7360 9 років тому

      ***** Don't pull if you don't have to; sitting on wheels is what racing is all about. Take the high road all you want but Degenkolb sat on wheels all day until he had to bridge up and then he made his moves and won. No point in dragging somebody to the finish so they can mug you at the end. I'm not a big Cancellara fan but he had a few races where he refused to take pulls because everybody was marking him. Everybody says the same about Gerrans and Valverde but those guys win big races.

    Why did you imply it was the responsibility of the race organizer to eject riders who crossed in front of the train? Is it because if you had said correctly that it's the UCI commissaires who are responsible for enforcing UCI rules, then the boring lefty trope that the safety of the riders is being neglected for profit wouldn't have had as much punch?

    • @LordLares7
      @LordLares7 9 років тому

      ClockCutter It's just the rules, isnt it. And it has happenned before, altough it was with only few riders crossing in front of the train, not a whole bunch of them, look it up.

    • @ClockCutter
      @ClockCutter 9 років тому

      Mifelt Well, then, the question is why didn't the UCI enforce it's own rules, isn't it?

    • @howtheracewaswon
      @howtheracewaswon  9 років тому +15

      ClockCutter you've got me. It was all a socialist plot. Congratulations-you can stop watching now.

    • @ClockCutter

      Cosmo Catalano
      What!? Now that you've openly admitted it, I've got more reason than ever to watch! You'll have to ban me, Commie Catalano.

    • @LordLares7
      @LordLares7 9 років тому

      ClockCutter UCI enforcing it's own rules sounds like a logical move, but then again, it is the UCI so anything logical is pretty much of the table.
