Plot twist: I'm a man and have always hated having underarm hair. For the last six months I've been shaving it but feeling like I have to wear covering tops in case my family see and think I'm gay.
Dude I live in the tropics and shave my armpit hair every week because otherwise I just get disgusting. Honestly women really need to get over shaving their armpits it's not that bad and the alternative is just plain gross (on men and women)
I personally don’t shave as a trans guy but that’s because it makes me feel feminine however I think when it’s come to hygiene both genders should shave their armpits as a kid I always wondered why guys didn’t shave their armpits because they get sweaty to and it’s simply because people think it’s grosser when woman have armpit hair it’s not that’s a lie it’s gross but it’s gross no matter what gender you are of course I do think people should have the choice and that you shouldn’t judge someone for shaving them if their a guy or not shaving them if their a woman

The guy made a valid point though saying a lot of women are just as grossed out by a guy with a hairy back I think the key takeaway is you're allowed to be attracted to what you want, but you shouldn't be shaming people for their grooming decisions.
I have the opposite problem. My mother and family friends are always telling me to look extremely frumpy and they take immense pride in looking frumpy and they think any form of grooming is vain.
When I was a teenager I shaved my underarms everyday, to the point where I cut myself really badly and now there's a huge scar. It's not just a matter of how it looks, it depends on how sensitive your skin is, how hairy you are and also I have black hair so my armpit hair will be dark and even if I shave one can still see fragments.
In the 1990s, my german GF never shaved her armpits nor trimmed or shaved downstairs either, I did not find this off putting and never ever said anything, I loved all of her, and this was a part of her. She did shave her lower legs but not at my suggestion.
Oh wow That’s odd to say to someone They must’ve had a headache I don’t like shaving or waxing So I choose to trim when I feel like it. I think I’m like a lot of women who were told it’s disgusting so I’m trying to get over that which is why I’m here. ❤
From a man who waxes, it's all about personal choice, men or women, and whatever body part. I agree, there should not be pressure on any society member at any age to shave (or whatever) any body part.
Women can groom themselves, however they want. ( Me personally ) I prefer "All Natural" vs. surgeries and Fake-everything. To each: his-or-her own. Just be who you are. oNe LovE from NYC

Body hair for females denotes ability to become parents. Nothing more, nothing less. In my opinion, y advertise that. When u get older, post menopausal u lose that statement. We want to make it a feminist statement. We want it to mean something else. It isn’t I am more than my ability to breed. My belief is a work in progress.

It's up to the woman if she wants to shave her armpits. That also applies to other parts of the body. It's her body.

some of us cannot shave daily, we get an all over painful rash.

Only caucasian indian and middle Eastern has this issue, Chinese,Japanese Korean women are not hairy or less hairy under the armpits....
Nope, that is optional. That is a social construct imposed to women long time ago.
Mine was gone at sixty-something and now no underarm hair at seventy-five
