“You’re just looking for something to say” 👏🏽👏🏽
“ you’re talking a load of old tripe , you’re making it up as you go along “ 😂😂😂
Kim absolutely right. Being offended by niceties is just ridiculous and going too far.
It was so pleasant in the old days, friendly, respectful, being called "luv" or 'darling', 'dear', ladies, etc. What paranoiacs bought in this dislike of people being nice to each other? How dare they rebrand polite pleasantries as offensive/hate speech/sexist, or whatever the heck they call it these days.
This Kim lady is pure gold.
No she isn't she's a bully and doesn't listen to what's being said. She accuses the woman who's making a very good point and her personal view of talking tripe. What is 'pure gold' about that?
@@chrisparnhamNo… use your brain. Kim is right
@@nathann7710 I wish Kim would instead of just going into freak mode and insulting anyone who disagrees with her dreary view. It's not just this video check out anything she's in. Her point is only relevant when you realise its said defensively because she does exactly what the whole point of the piece is about all the time.
@@fay9987 Difficult to tell what that means Faye it's got no words so you can't be accused of using the 'offesive' worst being talked about so I'm going to assume it's support. Cheers!
@@chrisparnham I find that Kim is often right when she gets passionate about something so I respectfully disagree with you
I think it’s nice to be called Darling or love. It makes you feel a warmth. I can’t understand people who get hung up on stupid things.
I don't either. I'm convinced people are just looking for things to BE offended about.
I am American and I absolutely love it. I would hear Paul McCartney in interviews always say "My Love" to people and thought, wow thats so nice. Then I realized it's part of UK culture to do similar things. I absolutely love love love it.
Your dead right darling
@@eugenedeegan6066 you're *
I stopped off at a Cafe the other day and the nice old lady called me Darling/Dear many times and I found myself getting rather emotional as it reminded me of my Grandma.
Well said Kim called her out for bullshitting
Bloody love Kim Woodburn. She is absolutely right. 😂
Me too she cracks me up 😂😂
"You've had your 5, shut up" 😂😂😂😂
Kim is so funny telling the lady “you’re telling porkies” 😂😂😂
Kim is a legend. Absolute common sense. If someone doesn’t like being called ‘darling ‘ in a shop …. Shop elsewhere.simple.
Kim was 75 yrs old here , she looks absolutely fantastic .
I love this woman she is the best!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Kim Woodburn is a legend!!
I think if this is the only issue you have in the world then you are a very lucky person. Let's be honest, people can call you a lot worse these days 😂
Absolutely precious...telling porkies
Kim for Prime Minister
Kim is aggressive and physically points her finger all the time. However she doesn't do BS and I appreciate that.
That's agreeable.
Us aries ♈️ are like that 😂
How can she expect a shopkeeper to remember all their customers and opinions?
Exactly 😂😂😂
Terms of endearment are now offensive… ffs. These were made to complement people, not bring them down.
Thank you, Kim 😊
Good on you Kim any term of endearment should be a good thing don't you think x
Kate really is talking tripe and just looking for something to say.
🤣
" what is wrong with you women" 😭 hahahaha
That was great 😂
@@charliecharlie2288 I've never cried sore of laughter but that hit me hard hahahahah
I don’t understand people who don’t like being called ‘my love’ or ‘darling’. It’s just pleasant and sweet- it’s never that deep.
Kim needs to be a regular on the couch especially if we have to keep the show on tv.😂
Kims right. She's tryna make that woman see sense.
Loving Kim shes so genuine not like phillip
Love Kim. Never ever been offended by the term.
"What is the haaaaarm"
You've had your 5😂😂😂don't try change me 😂❤
Well said Kim 👏👏👏👏👏
Im defo with Kim on this one like, whats wrong with these people? Like really!!!
Delusional
Some people have nothing to do in life😬
Go ahead Kim 👍
Darling & Sir has been used for over century in England, it is known for a jolly way to communicate and interact with others, it's British culture...end of !!
I first discovered Kim doing a Downton Abbey Comic Relief cameo. Knew nothing about her. But the moment she said Darling and My Love, I immediately liked her. Especially the way in which she says it leaves no room for interpreting it as anything but loving. The girl on this show is, I think, referring to the condescending way men use it to address females where it sounds patronizing and diminishing. Like she’s just a dumb, helpless pretty face with nothing upstairs.
I am American and adore the Darlying and My Love business. I first found out it was a UK think when I would hear Paul McCarnty refer to people all the time as My Love, and thought it was the sweetest thing.
I am someone who loves UK culture. My icon photo is actually Kate Bush.
Kim is right!
When does that woman go shopping? I've never been called darling or dear in a shop.
I call lots of people darling, and to be honest, they normally give a big smile back. I think many are just snapped at, by grumpy, irritable, frustrated people, most of the day, and seem very happy to be treated with more respect.
Darling or dear is totally fake by a stranger,Kim is an idiot and a bully
This lady has issues … 😓🙄 …. But kim dealt with her lol love that.
it's just the English way it's what makes us special, you ok Lovey, hello darling, moan when it's an insult life's too short shouldn't even be a debate
Calling Kate a comedian is funnier than her supposed comedy routine.
Kim needs to be on this show every day !
We need more KIMS 😂😂😂
Since when have Sir and Madam been on the same level? If he is a Sir the she is a Ms. Her story is falling apart like a discount Primark clothing.
no one uses sir anyway men also get called darling
@@another_day4783 Depends on which part of the UK you're in...
Getting to the bottom of the real issues. Bravo, This morning. Bravo
🤣
I think it's lovely to call someone "darling" or "dear". This world is insane.
Can we comment now???
Seemingly so
Exactly what I was thinking, why are they allowing us to comment after all these years?
You can comment on certain videos
I’m from Glasgow. I love to be called ‘hen’ or ‘darlin’ or ‘sweetheart’
'Hello Sir!!!! ... Ello darlin'!!!!!' 😂😂
I couldn't care less, as long as people are nice to me, that is more important to me. It annoys me that younger women complain about everything and get validated. They have no clue how hard life used to be for women in previous decades and even centuries
Is this really the world I live in?
This woman thinks she talks on behalf of all women
Thank god for Kim
I love terms of endearment from strangers, especially when I can tell it’s just second nature to them. It’s comforting. I hope all these sensitive people complaining don’t ruin it.
What an ejit Kim's correct 👏 ❤
She didn’t seem to deny the accusations that she was lying
Kim is hilarious 😂
I ABSOLUTELY BEAM when a brit or UK Calls me love or uses that endearment
What a ridiculous detail to be upset over. If people are nice to you at all be glad and go about your day. Nobody owes you the respect you think you're entitled to sir. Good grief.
Well said Kim darling!
Calling someone daring isn’t rude at all I take it has some one being friendly
" Hello Darling" is just a term of affection, just being friendly. l'm an ardent feminist , I don't mind at all and its all part of my working-class roots which I'm very proud of.
When she said greesy spoon cafe, how dare you
Kim is a darling 😂
Feminism is so shallow in its bitterness
I actually love being called darling, babe, Hun etc.
i cant believe shes a comedian. I mean what sort of humour is that? just irritate everyone till they run off screaming?
I've been called darling, love, dear, sweetheart even blossom and I've never taken offence to any of them. As Kim said, you're just looking for something to talk about. Some people take things so personal....Get A Life!!!!
I’m with Kim
One day that forty something will be 60 something and then she won't even be visible anymore. Make the most of the endearments, while you can.
I have always liked hearing people say terms of endearment if they mean it. The nice thing about Kim is that she used those words a lot in her old show, and I found it refreshing. Actually, I'd rather not hear it from a man because it might sound flirty.
I called everyone darling, love or duck or pet. Depends what part of the country I'm in. People need to get over themselves. ❤
As a German i would love it if a British Person calls me Darling or My Love . With the accent its so charismatic and Lovely and British
I get love, honey or darling all the time and I'm a bloke. Makes me feel good.
who cares so long as they dont call you something rude..
I’d much rather be called darlin’ than ‘dear’ or ‘madam’.
My boss who’s female told me I needed to start off by cutting that out. I call everyone darlin’… I’m southern, the older people I was around did it. I stopped but am confused on why she’d be so offended. I do it to both
“Had your 5 shut up” Kim is the 🐐 other woman is a fool
Trust me after this segment you won’t have to worry about anyone calling you “darling” cause no one is gonna want to talk to you.
Love Kim!
You cant please everyone just deal with it. Kim is right.
I just think if someone is uncomfortable with it or doesn’t like it, that’s fine because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and to feel however they feel, personally it doesn’t bother me.
Final Karen Boss
It’s about getting you to hop from foot to foot - there’s power in you constantly having to adjust. Notice how amused these creatures are to see the upset.
I once kept getting called sweetheart, love, darling, cupcake in a work environment and the best way I handled it ( because it came from the same person) was to say no problem sugar plum, honey bun and all that sort of stuff to the older person.....He stopped pretty quickly after that.
You're such a sugar pie...have a lovely day sour puss
Not be long before we lose the ability to speak.
This woman is deluded!
Darling and dear are non gender specific terms of endearment. As a guy in his 30s,I have older women calling me love and dear all the time.
we don't deserve kim
It's fair enough. If I was calling someone something they didn't want me to, I wouldn't in most situations. Why are people getting their backs up because of pleasantries. She seems to be the kind of feminist who has these 'experiances' without any credible evidence at all.
"Get a lifeee" 😂😂💀💀
hello
Remember when This Morning use to block comments on its videos? All of sudden they are back up. Funny that.
How for the love of jesus could anybody be offended by that unless you have a massive chip on yur shoulder
Total disrespect I hate being called darling or hello love it’s just vile
Kim is like a Rottweiler
God almighty people have been called a lot worse than that
No probs babe 😂
🤣😂🤣
Darling, is a lovely lovely term, if it’s meant in the right way, and not a condescending one with underlying sinister reasons
totally agree with Kim Woodburn
Get her, Kim!!!
every time i see kim woodburn , i see derek from catherine tate lol
Women are not automatically “Madam,” a lot of women are “Miss.” Will we now have to find out a persons marital status before addressing snowflakes?
