The "Faith" cover was alright......but "Behind Blue Eyes" is by far my preferred cover by them. I gotta say thank you to Durst for doing such a great job with it, it's a powerful ass song. And really thank you to Limp Bizkit as a whole. I couldn't tell you how many nights I did my homework in 4th grade listening to Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish&HFW... Even beyond that after Wes left, "Build A Bridge" and "Down Another Day" got me through some tough times in 8th grade. And I still reminisce from time to time.
And Pauly, thank you as well. I've enjoyed many nights watching 'In The Army Now', 'Bio-Dome' and others. And as a kid I didn't realize it but you were the cheese man Bobby Zimmeruski from 'A Goofy Movie', the don of "the leaning tower of cheezA" lol
    peAce!

Great video guys. I miss the days of the Weasel and Limp Bizkit dominating MTV. Quit doing Euro Festivals and do another proper USA tour! Deftone’s & KoRn are still grinding it out, no reason Bizkit can’t as well. LB for life!

It's funny when Limp Biscuit was at the Forum in 2015 billed with House of Pain and other bands. I was guarding the west hall door to get into the dressing rooms and this asian girl came up to me and said she had an appointment with Fred Durst and I said you don't have a credintial, long story short she must of gotten ahold of him because Fred pop's his head out and says she's cool. I said that credintial works for me. 😆

the Wiezel (pod) Cast; Shore is (like) comedy royalty to me (like Richard Pryor - Rain, Richard Jr.). I dig Limp Bizkit ("Nookie" & the song for "Mission: Impossible 2" - rap/metal fusion stuff) and Bobby "Mad TV" Lee.; oh snap, Eminem & Durst together - I gotta hear that stuff/those jams. I caught the Native American tear PSA reference. Great stuff by Pauly over here. These dudes are just shooting the s@#t; to "talk story" (in Pidgin English/Hawaiian style).

Just found this channel today, never been a Pauly Shore fan but i'm digging the channel. Sometimes these comedians can be a lot funnier when there just improvising and not trying to be a character. Would have been nice to see Fred Durst talk about what he's doing now cause I have absolutely no clue.

if Perry Farrell had a comedy / variety show festival, this would be it (kinda like "Lollapalooza"); Durst did appear at various Family Values Tour(s) and Monsters of Rock festivals, which had different musical genres than either the Vans'' Warped Tour or Coachella.

Fred was starting to become massive as a label mate with Eminem. Alongside Pauly and being in the constant top 5 on MTV, the rap community was slowly embracing him. America was much more united then. Xzibit, Red and meth, DMX, appearances/cosigns from snoop, Dr dre, Eminem and many more.
Plus he has the whole aspect of a rock genre behind him also and he was singing making good songs. He and Eminem had similar armies of fans behind them, but there was only room for one back then. (Plus Fred was becoming kind of corny. He very clearly wasnt as authentic as Marshall in hip hop)
Eminem created the divide and dissed Limp as the steam was dying off that 3rd album and it was over for them. I'm sure behind the scenes at interscope Fred may have had to take a backseat. He might have even been paid to stay so silent about it and dissapear.
Nu Metal was disappearing just as quickly but in a way so were heavy electric guitars and it ushered in a whole new era.
Basically rap just took over. America turned black, essentially. 15 years later you get Trump as a counter response. Respected white rappers today wear cowboy boots and drive Harleys. True story.
Sorry for the rant.....anyway....Fred Durst...yeah very short lived American Idol. Very similar to Pauly Shore.
