He is Pauly fkn Shore! Used to be the BIGGEST Comedy star in the world! And not to mention his mom and dad were SUPER famous too. This had to be so therapeutic for him too, to make. He was TOO good!
Thanks for posting this Pauly, it's almost impossible to find on streaming..I was working at a video store when this came out and I put it on the "staff picks" wall as soon as it arrived 😀
If this movie had gotten a studio and budget behind it I think it would have been a big hit. A meta comedy about Pauly Shore. As it is, it's an amazing film.
tbh im kinda glad it didnt. I like that it was made over 5 years too, seeing how everyone changed in that time is interesting. Like Durst going from a nobody to rock star.
😂It's clear that you poured your heart and soul into this project, and it paid off in spades. You reminded us all why we fell in love with your comedy in the first place, and why you remain such a beloved figure in the entertainment industry! So thank you, Pauly, for creating something truly special with "Pauly Shore is Dead"! It's a testament to your talent and your unwavering dedication to your craft. I can't wait to see what you do next.🎉
I saw this when it came out and remember being irritated when some people would say, "Oh that guy from MTV in the 90's made a movie?" Pauly Shore is a LEGEND.
Screw all the Pauly Shore movies, this mockumentary comedy is his crowning achievement right here. It's been 19 yrs since I've seen this, and it's still funny AF!
this is by far top tier and really showcased the hilarity Pauly brought, sure people threw the whole “he’s not fucking funny” or “his humor sucks because he’s annoying”, they don’t know good humor one bit, you made my childhood rock and fuckin’ roll, hell you got me through some tough times no doubt, even got me to get back into film; I managed a few short films and while it’s on pause for awhile I’m not planning to stop one bit. and fyi, Jury Duty had me fuckin’ rolling🤘🏻💯🔥 much love Pauly!
@@imnotbenavery9220 he totally did, my parents saw him in my town 23 years ago and he just straight slayed the crowd, and Re-Run from What’s Happenin’ was opening for him
When Pauly Shore is Dead came out i remember the buzz around it. Some people actually thought he was gone. Others realized Pauly just changed the game. ❤
Thank you for uploading this, Pauly. I got to see it once back when it came out and haven't seen it anywhere since then. This movie is highly underrated. I see that UA-cam is charging to see this movie. I hope they give you your cut. I wouldn't hold my breath though.
You were my hero man. I dressed and talked like you in my teens. I could watch all your movies over and over. I did improv for a long time and you were a huge inspiration.
One afternoon in 2003 i drove to the comedy store and just walked in. Pauly walked out of his office and we talked. He had a cold that day. Gave me comedic advice. Nice guy!
I seriously can't believe i haven't watched this till now. Even more i can't believe it's 20 years old! That makes me feel really old. I thought this just came out not too long ago lol
I was just thinking about this movie the other day and now I see you posted it! Thanks :) You are a great comedian and actor and Hollywood just didn't deserve you!
bro had alot more then '15 minutes of fame' . I'm sure so many still watch your iconic films to this day like I do, hundreds of hours my dude i spent with your films. you have a moment in time and you'll be remembered forever. bless you my dude ❤🙌👊 #EncinoMan2
i'm sorry for this back-handled compliment but i truly mean it to spread true positivity... but this was way better than i was expecting. i thought i'd take a look, scan thru the video for what looked like it might be interesting, and click onto the next thing quickly but i ended up watching the whole thing and enjoying it. good job dude. surprised i never saw this or heard of it before.
Loved this when it came out. I actually just watched this again with my daughter a few months ago. It still holds up dude. You were my favorite growing up. Never liked anyone else on MTV that’s for sure.
A cup of coffee and your movie on a Saturday morning, made my day! Thanks for posting this great movie. If you’re ever in Portland, hit me up and I’ll treat you to a great meal. You’re still a legend.
I was 1 month and 2 days old when Sam Kinison died, and he has always, my entire life, been in my Mount Rushmore of comedians. I couldn’t imagine being babysat by that man 😂😂
Never saw this but honestly it's an amazing movie. Had me laughing a lot and tear up a couple of times. Thanks paulie shore for all the laughs since I was young till even now . Keep up the great work. Have a blessed day and praise the lord and creator
Pauly. To be perfeclectly honest with you I caught the ass end of this movie on HBO back in the day and nobody knew what i was talking about. With you're years of expeaiernce on the screen you showed that you are in fact capable of dramatic acting. subtle as it may be but you have it. Your still a Star and will alwasy shine amongs the greatests. Great film Cheers many thanks P.S. GuesHouse kicked Ass! The Joker
Lol I watched bio-dome a week ago for nostalgia and was wondering wtf happened to Pauly?!? I did some research and found this diamond.. I'm surprised that I'm just hearing about this now. Thank you Pauly for letting us watch it for free! Also thank you for the awesome childhood memories of the 90s, a time when MTV was worth watching! I've always loved your work and I've always thought you were amazing, I miss you and I wished that Hollywood didn't take a crap on your career like they've done to many other great actors.. one other thing.. that short movie about Richard Simmons (The Jester) was an outstanding reflection of his soul.
My wife and I just started a podcast recently and we watched Encino Man last night for the first time in years. Probably 20 years at least for me. During the discussion afterwards, we were saying how good Pauly is in it. He is the heart of the movie and as unique and odd it seemed at the time, he is the most believable person in the movie now. I was telling my wife that Pauly should have been given more chances to step outside of the character he is best known by. Imagine if Tarantino tapped him to play a dramatic role and revive his acting career like Travolta or Grier. I was telling her about this movie you made that was really interesting that I saw years ago, and thought I wouldn't be able to find a copy to show her. Then you posted it up here on the same day?!?! What are the chances? Keep cruisin, Pauly. You aren't just fun and funny, I now think you have a telepathic connection to your fans. Big hugs dude.
DUDE thank you, after hearing you talk about this movie, I haven't been able to find it. Remember dodgeball? Pauly shore is dead was a trailer in that movie, I remember watching pauly say, " pauly shore is dead now coming to, DVD, DVD!! " as he's getting pelted with dogeballs lol, such a funny weird awesome guy 🎉
Pauly now is the time to come back with the most off the wall shit.. The way the world is right now and being that you have been out of the scene this new generation has no idea and the possibilities are endless!! I loved all the stuff you done…
I love this movie. Watching this is time around, I found a new appreciation for it. All the work that you put into it making it. Literally awesome! you did an amazing job. Oh and this time watching it, I live about 5 minutes from the ‘son in law’ house. I drive by it everyday on my way to work. I was dyyyying whenever the inbreds were geeking out over that movie. 😂😂😂 ❤️ from central California
Man, I used to live in northern Minnesota, and I got this autograph because I mailed you a personal level letter when people used to do cursive and shit and you sent me a sign picture man that made me make all the short films and help my best friend show heart rate books but anyways you’re an influence. I actually had an idea about you being a dad and a movie and I gotta look at my phone for the rest of the things I wrote down on us smoking weed but I always think about putting you in one of my movies
The cameos on this are absolutely incredible. I loved this the first time and it still rules. “I want my weasel and I want it NOW.” Crazy bastard, Pauly. Thanks for uploading this.
Hurly furk. Like seven dozen cameos, yo! So glad youtube pointed out this gem to me! You, Sir, are a legend who has shaped who I am today. My children and I quote your movie lines in certain situations to make life more interesting. I have made sure my children are familiar with your movies (the most appropriate ones for chirren) as well as your type of creative genius. If you need a reason to smile, just know you are held in high regard and my family's quality of life is elevated because of who you are and the work you've done. You are appreciated.
Love from down under brother, it was truly a blessing watching your movies growing up thanks for all the laughs ✌️ It was pretty boring in Australia in the 90’s and watching you made it all worth while That and lots of weed hahaha
I was just a teenager going to the movies with my mom but I loved Pauly shore, I loved all the movies, I begged my mom to take me to bio dome and I thought it was really cool but son in law was my favorite.... Absolutely hilarious.... I never saw this until now thanks for sharing Pauly.... Much luv

This is early 2000’s gold I never knew existed!
20 years ago meeting Pauly at the release for Pauly Shore is Dead was one of the greatest moments of my life. He's even more charming in person.

Like Durst going from a nobody to rock star.
.. its still a stupid funny movie 🤣 ..
The Fred Durst scene is fkn awesome.😂😂😂😂 There's so much to love about this movie.
It's so underrated, and that's a crime.
❤
I always think about that scene for some reason and it's the first thing I think of when I think of this movie 😂
... that part is funny 🤣 ..
Thanks for uploading this Pauly, it's been a minute since I've seen this gem. Much love brother 💙❤️

Totally under rated. This movie is hilarious. After my first watch years ago...I went and got the DVD
I ended up watching this movie today, because Pauly posted the link on Facebook. That was well good fun! 🎭
Screw all the Pauly Shore movies, this mockumentary comedy is his crowning achievement right here. It's been 19 yrs since I've seen this, and it's still funny AF!
Idk Son In Law is a classic

@@imnotbenavery9220 he totally did, my parents saw him in my town 23 years ago and he just straight slayed the crowd, and Re-Run from What’s Happenin’ was opening for him
I was unable to find this movie here in Scotland back in the day. Thanks for uploading, P.
What a thing to show up in my recommendations. I still have my copy of this on DVD.
A better actor than people gave him credit for.✌️
I love how everyone else is doing a cameo but Howard is playing an accountant.
peak early 2000s. almost eerie. Pauly you're an artist. Hope to see you come roaring back soon.
When Pauly Shore is Dead came out i remember the buzz around it.
Some people actually thought he was gone.
Others realized Pauly just changed the game. ❤

Thanks for adding this for free Pauly.
Dude, thanks for this upload. I remember seeing the promo for this on the movie Dodgeball. Love everything you do.
The Ben Stiller scene at the end, showing how Hollywood works. Fantastic.
Amazes me how many people in this movie, except Pauly, are dead 20 years later
It’s so funny to me that this movie legit makes me tear up a little. His moment in the kitchen wheezing with the dude who just tried to kill him ❤❤
Here before millions , thanks for putting this up I'm laughing my asz off we love you bro

It's quite brilliant really. It's been a while since I laughed that hard. Great casting! Sizemore/Madsen was perfect.
First time watching this film. Can't believe how much I liked it!
