So I met Pauly Shore when I was 6 years old at the San Diego Zoo (now 25), and ran up and got a picture with him and I remember telling him Bio-Dome was my favorite movie of his. He looked at my parents then back at me and said, “Wow they let you watch that? You have some terrible parents.” Best day at the zoo ever.
DeadBunny69 I was like 13 and in in the army now was pretty ducking funny. I watched it like 5 times. That humor worked back then. Now vulgar shit is frowned upon. You can still do it. But keep the budget small. Like workaholics. Pauly shud try that. Those kids are very similar to him but too much pauly is no good. Need to balance it out.
You can hear the ego when he talks. I don't see him taking part in an ensemble. Or 2nd billing. Even though he's washed up and he does not have the talent to transition.
Pauly Shore misses being young because of his experience. He was larger than life for a short period of time. That’s a crazy thing to achieve and then have taken away so quickly.
yep. i can't blame him for missing it dearly. but is it better to have that and lose it or to never have experienced it at all? the pain from losing it is there but so is the joy. if you never had it then all you have is "pain" from not having it but that pain is no way worse than having the good life then losing it so i think its best to never have the good life lmao. i grew up in the 90s i miss it terribly and i feel like most times i might have been better off not living through it but after seeing how gen Z is, im glad i lived through the 90s. it hurts its gone but it felt so good to experience it. its a catch 22 man. the good with the bad.
Hell yea! It ain't over til it's over, I didn't hear no bell, we will not go gently into that good night. My dad had me in his 50s and didn't slow down til his mid to late 70s and lived to be 90.
When Pauly basically said his best times make him sad looking back on them i felt that in my soul. Its hard knowing nothing will compare to the "good ole days"
You could just have different days that are good, adapting, vs trying to hold onto what was. Sure it can be hard, or you can just be sad and regretful.
It’s sort of baffling that Joe doesn’t understand that part. It makes perfect sense. I see pictures of me and friends that I don’t care to ever see again, and they still make me sad. I guess sometimes people, myself included, process nostalgia as sadness.
I know what Pauly is saying...... the 80's/90's were awesome. I was in my mid teens to mid 20's during this time and I miss it a lot. Less stress, less responsibility, more friends. Was a great time!
Most people love their mid-teens to mid-twenties regardless of the decade, especially when looking back at it. People in their teens and twenties today will look back in 30 years and talk about how great it was. It’s just part of life.
@@MrTickleBean Wrong. Things have changed like never before. The most recent generations are so messed up and miserable it's unreal. People in the future will be trying to recover from the horrific things done to them at "gender clinics". The 80s/90s were good for any age, these times now are awful for all ages, but especially youth.
@@pwilliam255 huh? Who do you think you're fooling? I have screenshots of people saying they knew multiple "gay" and "trans" kids...in FIRST grade. Local hospital says kids can be "trans" at THREE years old. There's now child drag shows all across the nation. Thousands & thousands of kids irreversibly damaged. You belong in prison and we're coming for all of you.
I feel the same way i miss the late 90s early Y2K like crazy, its depressing when your loved ones start to die, family pets start to die, celebrities you love die, or get older. I came from a large family that came from a larger family, and now its like my elders have all died off, sick, too caught up in bills, ITS OVER WITH. i choked up in tears at my grandmas house this past year cause not only is she and grandpa here but like no one showed up. There literally would be 30 people with guests visiting all throughout the day back in the 90s early & mid 2000s. My favorite aunt who did everything with me died of cancer, cousin died of covid. Man i can go on. I can watch old WWF SMACKDOWN or cartoonetwork/nick shows super easy thanks to current technology. I can play games or rewatch certain movies at anytime. The problem is it will never recapture the old atmosphere that was the late 90s/early 2000s. that feeling of cant waiting to see your friends in school or go hang out with them after school or during the weekend is forever gone. Whenever i see something exciting theres no large gathering or social spaces where your around people who dam near knew you since pre school. I miss hating to go to high school, but loving the activities, field trips, dates etc etc.
I am going to be 40 in a few months and this makes me feel grateful I haven’t made it yet. I feel I am finally on that trajectory and it’s something that’s going to sustain me. I am grateful for the hard times I’ve been through in my life because I am now turning the corner, slowly, but I can feel it.
At 40 now I'm feeling the exact same way, barely turning things around, almost ready to buy a house....however at our age statistically if your still single it's almost an impossibility to start a healthy relationship and start a family which does get me down a bit.
Son In Law was the pinnacle of his film career. I thought BioBome was good, even better than In The Army Now, but like Pauly stated from the advice of his management team, cutting his hair off basically reformed his iconic image and was akin to Samson cutting off his long hair and losing his strength.
It is good to see him remembering his early years in the entertainment business. He is a very likeable person. I can see why Joe had him come to his show. Hopefully Pauly's podcast does well. He has a natural talent for entertainment.
German Ed. Leal Nino yeah he should have been the first Lindsey Lohan but you never hear about him getting into any trouble.. I think he should be very proud.
🤯 that’s exactly how I feel as someone in their 40s who had a GREAT 20s for the same reasons. Being young and dumb is underrated. The whole world is open to possibilities and as you get older and experience more the possibilities and wonders get smaller.
So sad and weird. We all miss our 20s. There's nothing you can do about that. Wishing you could go back is pointless. The best thing you can do is whatever it takes to not look back 20 years from now and keep saying I wish.
He wouldn’t admit this, but he’s not successful anymore because he looks like shit. Nobody is going to give this dude a lead role in a movie. He should have worked out and used facial moisturizer ffs.
Y'all are trash people... This guy was dope he essentially is the first person they exploited for money and ever since Hollywood rides one person until they die
Paulie seems like a genuinely good guy . He just comes across as a good person. I think part of the reason things dried up was also due to timing. His fan base was growing up, people were super cynical in the 90’s and it wasn’t cool to like Paulie Shore. That being said, I’d love to see him make a comeback
I get exactly what you mean. Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler experimented with more grown up movies and even Chris Farley was trying to do more serious roles before he passed away so I think that is why they are remembered more fondly than Pauly but if Pauly were to try to do something different aside from stupid comedy like the others I think he could be good in it. Not only did it work for Carrey and Sandler but even Brendan Fraser who acted with Pauly a couple times has even done some more mature material and he is now an Oscar winner. Pauly should give it a shot if he tried I think he would do well.
I grew up in watching Pauly as a 90's kid, I was a big fan. His movies hit at the right age for my generation at around 14 though 16-ish. So I gotta support my man. I was always bummed that he didn't do other staring roles later in life, but at the same time, he seems to be doing well without those kinds of roles. I and many others will forever be thankful to Pauly for paving the way for so many comedians and actors after him. That's a huge honor to have.
I WAS SO BIG but... - "that movie didn't do as good as the other films..." - "Disney didn't sign me to do more movies..." - "Jury Duty didn't do so good" - "I didn't listen to my agents" - "I got a sitcom on FOX... and that didn't go..." Well, I ain't no Sherlock Holmes, but I can find the common denominator here...
Didnt think he was funny then dont now. Just a washed up performer sad that nobody loves his douchebag comedy anymore. Be happy you had anything at all.
matt buresh great point...he had to change because with age no wants to see an old guy playing a stoner role. An old stoner on film is sad since it shows an adult who was not grown up.
It’s like a star quarterback in college, gets drafted in the 1st round, has a bad year, has a bad 2nd year, then becomes a backup QB. Your left reminiscing about those college glory days. Life doesn’t always work out the way you want.
I grew up with Pauly as a certified member of the "MTV generation". I think with comedians that define a generation or an era you get a short shelf life unless you can re-invent yourself you'll be frozen in time. Gallagher was a huge star in the 80's then faded like Dice and even Bob Goldthwait had to drop his schtick. Shore was in that super narrow niche that didn't have that widespread appeal to get critical mass and it got old. Maybe down the lines of "Jay and Silent Bob" with limited commercial appeal.
reminds me of toboscus, you might think he stopped posting many years ago. but he kept posting the exact same kinda videos as he posted before up until 3-4 months ago or so
THIS GUY WAS LAME BACK THEN - YOU HAD TO BE AN IDIOT TO THINK THIS GUY WAS COOL - I MOVED FROM THE UK TO CALIFORNIA IN 1991 AND SAW THIS STOOGE ON TV AND MOVIES AND THOUGHT WTF ? - NO WONDER SO MANY TALENTLESS FOOLS MOVE TO LA AFTER SEEING THIS GUY MAKE IT
What Pauly is explaining at 2:15 is hard to describe, but I know exactly how he feels. It isn't that you can't do the same things you did when you were younger, it's just that you don't get the same satisfaction out of doing them. And the things you currently enjoy in your life don't quite give you the same level of enjoyment as those other things did when you were younger. You aren't wishing to do those things, you're wishing you still enjoyed doing those things. It's like, I wish I could go outside and play make-believe for 3 hours like I did when I was 8 years old, and have an absolute blast. There's nothing stopping me from doing that, but I just can't possibly enjoy it the same way as I did when I was a kid; it would just be boring as an adult.
That's kind of how I feel about watching Pauly Shore movies. I can certainly still watch them but I can't possibly enjoy them now the same way as I did when I was ten.
Not only did Pauly start a lot of the comedy we enjoy now BUT HIS MOM actually owned/managed the comedy store and Pauly grew up with ppl like Richard Pryor and other legends... It mustve been crazy, he talked about being a kid and walking into his downstairs where his mom hosted these huge parties with so many key comedians... theres a doc from back in the day where he explained it as his mom was on her death bed, really made me look at him as more than a goofy guy and gave huge insight to a lost time in LA comedy scene... Joe knows wsup, he was there for it all.
I would never and have never wanted fame Fact is he is washed up As the vast 99.9% of celebrities end up being Only a few like Lon Chaney, James Dean, John Wayne and Sir Christopher Lee are truly remembered as historically significant But he achieved more than 99.9% of wannabe actors achieve He's far from a loser but his attitude makes him come across as one
He didn’t articulate it very well but I totally get what Pauly was saying about turning 30 and not having the freedom to screw up like you did back in your 20s.
My sister got the chance to meet pauly shore in his prime era in idaho. I cant exactly remember what years but definetly early 2000s she got to hangout with him for the day and got a photo with him and hes kissing her on the cheek and shes all red lol Her name is Kelly, idk if pauly or joe will see this but i know that moment meant the world to my sister! she said pauly shore was fucking awesome and it was literally like a dream to hangout with her favorite tv icon. To this day she still says that was the coolest time of her life. Sadly time has really put alot of hurt on my sis, shes currently in psychiatric care where she self submitted herself to get help dealing with years of trauma and emotional hurt of so many losses in her life. I dont think this will get seen but man the weazel never faded if you showed up as the weazel i know it would literally change my sisters life right now! to any that see this a prayer for her would be appreciated. I believe in the power of the grand conscious to heal and through prayer our energy can help focus our own healing energies through that grand conscious to help heal all through prayer, much love to all
Really nothing went wrong he was a fad entertainer his time came and went and he really made the most of...my young uncritical eye liked all of his movies
He keeps saying "I love acting" but then he says he was on set with Adam Sandler but he wasnt the star. It sounds like he doesnt love acting he just wants to be a "star"
Exactly if u love acting be happy u got a part in a dumb adam sandler film god he sounded like such a big baby " but I was the one starring in films" so he doesnt love acting he loves being the main star who's ass gets kissed what an ego. Shit.
Memories good or bad are the saddest things on life. I often feel sadness when I think of other good things in did in the past. I’m no way famous as Pauly, but as having great times with friends in the past puts a tear in my eye. Almost like you want to relive that part of life over again.
Perspective is absolute key, I believe we all have a hard time at some point in life when we realize "oh shit, this is not forever, my mom and dad are getting older, I am getting older, but each phase has so much beauty mixed with sadness, and that's life you guys❤️ we have to find the smiles and the joy and the love in every moment we can
Vanilla ice and Pauly shore the bigger you are! the faster you make it! The harder you fall! People can blame Vanilla Ice for doing the Ninja rap song in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2! And Pauly shore for doing in the Amy now! For killing there careers! However they both rose fast and fell hard! However shore has went on to do more movie's and Robert Van Winkle has went on to do more Studio albums...
It’s true though, and he doesn’t have a career now, the least you can do is give him his due, which is that he was the first, and the biggest, at the time. Then he took it too far and burned out.
I feel for him, but at the same time, being 58 myself, taking really good care of yourself physically does wonders for your mental health. He has really let himself go.
Pauly really comes across as being very sad and regretful for having lost the acting and especially the starring opportunities in successful films and being very jealous of those people he knows who still have some success in acting and even starring in successful films ! Its too bad he feels this way ! I loved watching his films back in the day !
You always chase your first high... you always try to relive that first experience, that first love, that first success, that first grain of validation, acceptance and praise. Life is like a good movie or a video game, how many times have you heard someone say they could forget a movie just to rewatch it again. You need to be naive and ignorant during your first high to absorb all the nuanced novelty. This can most likely never be replicated again.
I went to the comedy store about 5 years ago and Pauly was not on the list but did a set before the headliner. I was a fan as a kid but hasn’t heard much about him in YEARS and his set was really good. It surprised me and I think most of the people there how good it was. If you have a chance to see him go for it
Hes always been rewarded. No real consequences. He doesn't have that drive to pay the monthly bill. And that's ok. Hopefully he found himself and happiness . He has a lot of great stuff in his life. Aka the comedy store . Papa Bless
None of these people have Jesus. So they’re empty. All the pleasures of flesh have dried up or worn out and now they believe their life has less value.
Pauly Shore, in my honest opinion: He had the perfect career with all of his movies being laughable and watchable to this day. He has a great persona and I think he definitely could still do it. He shouldn't feel underachieved, I look at him as an icon for his era.
Dude has a huge ego, it's actually kind of embarrassing. "Look at me, i used to be on billboards..." - "I used to be big...." - "I was the 1st big person on MTV..." He sounds like he just lives in the past. Pauly and Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite would get along great!
The past is always looked fondly upon because it is comforting to remember something familiar, the unknown of the future is more uncomfortable. Still life is carefree and worries are far away in the future. I can relate to what Pauly is saying. But life is what you make it, and im much happier now than i was then. I hope that for Pauly too
I watched _Son in Law_ with my daughter last week, and to be honest with you, seeing that movie in Junior High, in High School, it was incredibly entertaining…but, seeing it as a grown adult with kids & a college degree; the wheels fell off really quickly… however, _in the Army Now_ is actually very accurate to some details of being an in listed US Army Soldier, both my older sisters are active duty US Army veterans who saw action in Iraq & Afghanistan…one of them was Spec. Ops. Soldier, the other operated a U.S. Army Tank… and I watched it with both of them and they were pointing out shit that they’d actually been through
In the Army now has gotten some props for being accurate in recent years but most people look at it as a rip off and a dopey cousin to Stripes. Stripes is definitely funnier but ITAN isn’t bad for a Shore comedy either.
@@spencerhensley5495 Stripes was written by Harold Ramis, directed & produced by Ivan Reitman, & had incredible comic actors; Bill Murray, John Candy, PJ Soles, Joe Flaherty, Dave Thomas, Judge Reinhold, and so many more. I can definitely sympathize with him about missing the early 90s and being younger. It was a fun time back then. A great time to be a kid. Today we live in a world of madness.
I agree. And anything crazy going on back then wasn't noticed as much due to our age and also less media . But no doubt the world was significantly different in so many areas.
@@LordofYumYum there was definitely problems in the world back then. But nothing compared to this insanity that we live in today. There was still a sense of community in the 90s. But today everyone just hates each other. It’s a complete mess no matter what side you are on.
Feel like it might have been he became so famous and popular as a kid and it worked for him; so in his mind he is like this works I’m just going to keep doing it. He never evolved and grew up. Never thought he had too I imagine
When I look back at the 90s when I was coming of age and a teenager it almost feels like this idealistic pre digital yet modern and awesome time in just about every aspect of pop culture. And I loved it. I had fun. And while I had shitty eras afterwards you have to find things to do at any time and find satisfaction in them or you will waste away.
I think Pauly could be like Sandler, only difference is Adam got his own production company early in his career and was able to make his own movies regardless if they did awesome at the box office, because lets be honest, Adam has plenty of stinkers, but he keeps making movies he wants to do, with his friends without total executive takeover, Pauly doesnt have it. And lets also be honest, i see peole here in the comments saying Pauly played the same character over and over, yea but so did Adam, Arnold, Van Damme, Farley...etc. Pauly could get back out there, especially with all of the ways to watch entertainment, but it feels like hes afraid too
People like that always miss it, they never think they are the problem. I mean sure, I laughed my ass off watching his movies in the 90's but ffs he never acted in shit, he just played himself over and over again. At least his biggest fan will always love him.
His whole persona is very early 90s. Public interest changes. His film career died along with other things that were popular then. Loved Encino Man and Son-In-Law though.
This is the living example of a man who can't generate happiness from within. When they say that fame and money can't make you happy, this is the attitude they're referring to.
@@davidpearson6346 The thing is he's still hanging out in the scene and doing just fine. He still knows everyone and his mom's reputation keeps him well. He definitely needs to look at that deeper.
he literally never said that. he compared himself to adam sandler. sandler doesn't have oscars and nobody is using billy madison to audition for broadway, but sandler stars in movies. I get what he is saying, it's like a football player who can't get signed to a team, maybe just get on the practice squad. he would rather be a starter on a trash team than be standing on the sidelines of a good one.
@@adamvincent746 ...adam sandler is a guy who had a few good years in the 90s. but unlike pauly he had a crew that worked like entourage so after the mainstream moved on from him he started doing indie movies and producing his own movies for himself and his friends to star in. pauly relied on the studio to keep his career going and fell off when the industry changed.
Pauly is a good kid. the spring break after OJ, he comes out riding a little kid's electric car "a white bronco" with cops on a little kid's car chasing him. I laughed hard about that. he won me over with that.
I was in basic training at Fort Sill when filming for "In the Army now" took place. What is funny about it all is that, as a trainee, we were forbidden to recognize the filming crews. We were told there would be film crews around the area, but not what it was they were filming. The only times I saw the crews were when we were marching, usually to the chow hall.
Paulie came into my restaurant a handful of times and he’s so fucking genuine. This guy is definitely humble and in no way does he act celebratory. I’d rather serve this dude than Beyoncé or jay z or any other A-lister anyday.
He is basically telling you what and why most actors get the way they get when they get older in Hollywood. He is just not afraid to tell it and be honest about it.
They need to remember they still got a whole lot more than the average American did or ever will. Most people won't star in a film and are just fine with that.
I've always loved & always will love Pauly! Everyrhing he did on MTV & all his movies, I've always loved them ever since I was a kid (I was born 1987)! I wish he was in more movies still! Imagine how awesome it would be to have like either a sequel to Son In Law Or Bio Dome to see what all has happened in between the time when it came out, or just a new comedy movie with him starring in it! Dude is & always will be 1 of my favorite people ever! Shit I even liked his animated character in A Goofy Movie when I was younger, "it's the leaning tower of Cheeza!" Lol!
Yes. Pauly did everything all on his own. Never mind his Mother was Misty Shore, owner of the comedy store. I am sure she had NO influence on his career though. Zero nepotism.
That's kinda what I'm going through, I'm a guy that just turned 31, and now just realized that I'm not getting any younger, and I'm the one to blame cuz I didn't go out there and live life. I had let my best years of my life go pass by in being a hermit in my room playing video games, and watching porn. And now that I'm 31 the regret is now affecting where I should have gotten out, and ventured. If I could only turn back the clock, and go back when I was in my early 20s.
@@robertdelgadocapetillo8684 - If you're not married with children, you still got a solid decade of being able to catch up on that stuff. I'm 34 myself, from like 16-28 were fucking great. I was playing football, meeting girls, hanging with my friends, playing tons of great video games myself and with friends often (didn't really watch any porn though). Now im married with a career, kids, and life is certainly great. But those days of very little responsibility, playing video games whenever i wanted to, climbing in the backseat of a car with whatever girlfriend i had at the time, randomly meeting a couple friends late at night to go catch a late movie. They were great times, but gotta move forward. For you, if you're paying your own bills at least, my advice is to get yourself in good shape, lift weights. Get yourself out there, meet some good women. Reconnect with old friends who might be in the same boat, or make new ones. You can still spend the next 5 to 10 years of your life catching up on wasted time. Just make sure you got a good career at the least if you haven't already. Edit: Oh, and kick the porn habit if you haven't already. That shit is a trap for your brain by tricking it into a never ending cycle of complacency.
Pauly was "niche". he played a character that was popular at the time but it eventually gets old. His downfall was being that character only. Like Max Headroom.. he was popular until he wasnt. Pee Wee was popular until he wasnt then had a resurgence. Pauly chose to be a character in his films that eventually gets old. There are comics who are just themselves and are timeless or change with the times.
He didn’t need to act. Look up his Mother. She was highly networked with some of the best comedians. She owned a comedy club which started many legends.
I'm still young 34, grew up water balloon fights, everyone having fun at the beaches, rivers wherever. now it just seems awkward to talk to anybody in public without being judged or whatever... humans are fucked after the pandemic and online apps. totally miss the 90s
Pauly Shore was a stoner high school character. It was funny for a while, then it got old. He needs to decide how he wants to evolve. Nothing lasts forever. He should be proud what he accomplished.
He tried to evolve, but he's a one schtick pony like Peewee Herman, Weird Al .. sure they have careers... but who wants to watch the same old tired tripe...
@@TroyC68 Well said!! He tried to evolve into an older stoner but that’s just kinda sad & pathetic. Most of us outgrow our childhood antics and not too many people can have a real career if they don’t grow up & learn new things. What got you here won’t get you there, as a wise person once said. Those of us that grew up with Pauly Shore, Pee Wee Herman and Andy Dick don’t really hold those memories as the heartfelt ones. Especially Pee Wee... heard any good jokes lately?? Haha ha ha ha ha ha (laughing like Per Wee). 🤣
I also think all his fans grew up and where no longer into pg13 comedy. I loved this guy from 8 to 12 and then by 14 I was more into R rated movies, same thing happened with Jim Carry, he was cool when I was a kid but by my teen years he was no longer even on my radar. I feel the same way i miss the late 90s early Y2K like crazy, its depressing when your loved ones start to die, family pets start to die, celebrities you love die, or get older.
I came from a large family that came from a larger family, and now its like my elders have all died off, sick, too caught up in bills, ITS OVER WITH. i choked up in tears
at my grandmas house this past year cause not only is she and grandpa here but like no one showed up. There literally would be 30 people with guests visiting all
throughout the day back in the 90s early & mid 2000s. My favorite aunt who did everything with me died of cancer, cousin died of covid. Man i can go on.
I can watch old WWF SMACKDOWN or cartoonetwork/nick shows super easy thanks to current technology. I can play games or rewatch certain movies at anytime. The problem is it will never recapture the old atmosphere that was the late 90s/early 2000s. that feeling of cant waiting to see your friends in school or
go hang out with them after school or during the weekend is forever gone. Whenever i see something exciting theres no large gathering or social spaces where
your around people who dam near knew you since pre school.

Paulie is the biggest douchebag celebrity or professional athlete I’ve ever met
Low IQ take. Trash gotta support trash.
Good on Joe for pushing him and trying to have him think about his present. Joe’s got a lot of wisdom.

I was always bummed that he didn't do other staring roles later in life, but at the same time, he seems to be doing well without those kinds of roles.
Pauly never evolved his character. He's stuck in the past. He wanted to continue the same material and people got tired of it.

Exactly
Totally agree with that
Super insightful
That's kind of how I feel about watching Pauly Shore movies. I can certainly still watch them but I can't possibly enjoy them now the same way as I did when I was ten.
That's when you get into D&D and imagine for hours with other adults
Not only did Pauly start a lot of the comedy we enjoy now BUT HIS MOM actually owned/managed the comedy store and Pauly grew up with ppl like Richard Pryor and other legends... It mustve been crazy, he talked about being a kid and walking into his downstairs where his mom hosted these huge parties with so many key comedians... theres a doc from back in the day where he explained it as his mom was on her death bed, really made me look at him as more than a goofy guy and gave huge insight to a lost time in LA comedy scene...

It did make him happy... he lost his fame and money now he's depressed. You seemed to completely miss the point.
I never knew Pauly thought he was a timeless actor.
He thinks quite alot of himself apparently.
he literally never said that. he compared himself to adam sandler. sandler doesn't have oscars and nobody is using billy madison to audition for broadway, but sandler stars in movies.
I get what he is saying, it's like a football player who can't get signed to a team, maybe just get on the practice squad. he would rather be a starter on a trash team than be standing on the sidelines of a good one.
@@losgryfog Adam Sandler is a good example of a timeless actor and Pauly Shore having a few good years in the 90's makes a lot of sense.
@@adamvincent746
...adam sandler is a guy who had a few good years in the 90s. but unlike pauly he had a crew that worked like entourage so after the mainstream moved on from him he started doing indie movies and producing his own movies for himself and his friends to star in.
pauly relied on the studio to keep his career going and fell off when the industry changed.
@White Fangz 😭😭😭
They don't understand. Thank you, I was shocked about comments until here
Why Jay Z and Beyoncé? They seem pretty nice and cool.
He's no longer a celebrity- I didn't even recognize him.
I believe you! It Truly comes across in HIM. I would love to have a sit-down with Him!
@@kentjg32 that’s the thing they seem nice, but are truly full of themselves.
He is basically telling you what and why most actors get the way they get when they get older in Hollywood. He is just not afraid to tell it and be honest about it.
They all have to learn how to grow and pivot or move out of the way to be honest. You can't be stuck like he's been for 30+ years
They need to remember they still got a whole lot more than the average American did or ever will. Most people won't star in a film and are just fine with that.
@Paul Ridgeway what do you have to offer
Pauly Shore can be grateful that he touched many lives and created great memories nothing wrong with sitting in the Korean bath-house drinking juice
And not like being Jewish had any effect
mitzi shore????
@@namelessfaceless5748 It didn't and that is anti-semitic.
Scheckles speak
@@bldrnnerln3894 no one cares
Pauly seems like he's trapped inside his own head in the past. This is so so sad.
That's exactly what I was thinking
Ya like 98% of all people
Exactly you stole my words. He was on top now lost gone. He missed the buss to reality. Its sad he had his glory days now depressed time cacthed him
That's kinda what I'm going through, I'm a guy that just turned 31, and now just realized that I'm not getting any younger, and I'm the one to blame cuz I didn't go out there and live life.
I don't think anything went wrong, Pauly was in alot of movies, he had his goofy niche and time moves on.
I'm still young 34, grew up water balloon fights, everyone having fun at the beaches, rivers wherever. now it just seems awkward to talk to anybody in public without being judged or whatever... humans are fucked after the pandemic and online apps. totally miss the 90s
pauly shore looks like richard simmons son lol
Mr. majestick so true!! 😂😂😂
Mr. majestick lol
Simmons would have had to have sex with a women to do that.
So no.
Mr. majestick Maybe......he is
Your right lol..
Stoners and druggies are never successful. Those are exceptionally bad behaviors to do on a physical (look at the guy) and spiritual level.
The irony of your name... your comment and your stupidity lmao you're like one of his characters in real life
@@TroyC68 i mean weird al still sells out tours
I also think all his fans grew up and where no longer into pg13 comedy. I loved this guy from 8 to 12 and then by 14 I was more into R rated movies, same thing happened with Jim Carry, he was cool when I was a kid but by my teen years he was no longer even on my radar. Then the new generations of kids had Adam Sandler pumping out movie after movie.
It’s called gettin older an growing up to b an adult Pauly everyone does it ..who doesn’t miss their 20s chasing girls partying not giving a fuck ,everyone goes thru what your goin thru time to grow up
