Hi Doug ! I want to thank you for all your video’s concerning the Work Sharp Multi Sharpener, Ken Onion Edition. I order it today. I’m sorry I didn’t order it at your store. I’m from the Netherlands so there no logic ordering over the border if I van order it here. But thnx fore your many and great video’s! It helpt me so much!
Cheaper way and less labor intensive is to use a spray bottle of Isopropyl alcohol and a brass brush after each use of your pruners. And an old rag to wipe it off, clean metal after each use, Been using this method the last 5 years. The alcohol also sanitizes the tools, to prevent fungus and spreading disease .
I own this sharpener, it is not intended to be used the way you just did it, you just gashed the snot out of the factory edge. You either have to disassemble and use the proper guides or just buy a carbide sharpener
fantastic!
enjoyed every bit of it.

You mentioned that you would cover sharpening a lawn mower blade later. Could you tell me when you will do that?
Which belt do I use to sharpen my wits?
3M scotch Brite in green or burgandy and WD-40 works great in removing tree sap and cleaning gardening tools.
