- On this Fish hands adventure, we head out to Montana's Gallatin river with Trey Braasch. Trey has over 25 years guiding on Montana's storied rivers. This last minute trip in February put us to the test for winter fishing abilities and showcased just how good the trout fishing really is in Montana. Spoiler alert, we catch a lot of wild rainbows and a few very large western browns. special thanks to Trey and The Gallatin River Guides who made this day possible. Dude... 16:00...that thing was a tank!! I appreciate you just putting the fish back without holding it for 25 minutes of photos. You have great ethics brother!!! Your guide was fantastic, he has such a casual and clear way of communicating. Seems so knowledgeable and a genuine guy. The second one at the end looked scrappy too!! Excellent trip Franky, thanks for taking us along with you.
Very thankful to be matched with Trey. He’s a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for your kind words Dan. Conservation > Clout.
Love that Gallatin
What an amazing fishery Bob!
I lost my go pro there. If you happen to see it…
A worthy offering to the trout gods
This made me feel blessed to live in Montana but guilty for not fishing more in the winter. Nice work!
That’s a very kind thing to say Koda. They say it’s heaven on earth and I think they are right.
It's good to have great friends in life, my prayers will always be with you
Looks like a great river to do some fishing on, nice job bro✊
Thanks, we made the most of four hours that’s for sure!
Those BIG browns toward the end! Love it! Those were bruisers. Bet you learn so much fishing with a guy like that for 4 hours.
Thanks MY! They get your heart racing that’s for sure. Super appreciative of the knowledge I gained that day.
Great video man! Looks like it was a great trip.
Thanks Bill! The west has some amazing fishing. Can’t wait to go back.
