    Hi
    So ive had cracking as the main problem. The next day they always crack. I gave up! Tried to do how you showed , two layers in the middle,two over the nail , a total of four. The three nails cracked the second day... I thik im done doing them. I even changed the nail shape from square to almond. I hafe to say my nails are on the thin side now but wven when they are healthy and strong its the same thing. I use revel system. Any advise? Ty

      Use poly gel. It’s healthier, solid, and you can add length and strength. And it doesn’t kill your nails like the dip/acrylic. You’ve gotta learn to work with poly as it’s sticky, but it’s honestly much easier than the dip.

    Very helpful! I've been having issues with the corners chipping as well. Are some brands of dip more prone to chipping than others? I've been using Joya Mia dip powder, although I think theirs goes on thinner than OPI's.

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  10 місяців тому

      I feel that some liquids + powders are more prone to chipping because they’re thinner. In that case I would add more layers to try to supplement for the thinness 💕 the tall tell sign is if you experience chipping/cracking with 1 brand and then try another brand… and no longer experience the troubles then it’s probably the products!
