Nagarhole Tiger Reserve is the second biggest Tiger Reserve in Karnataka and living lot of wild animals like elephant, tiger, leopard, black cheetah, Indian gaur, deer, etc. in the forest. Kabini Backwaters Forest Safari is a popular experience conducted by the Karnataka Forest Department in Kabini river. The Karnataka Forest department operates two types of safaris in Kabini- one is the jeep safari and the other is boat safari in Kabini River. The boat safari lasts for close to 90 minutes and guests may see elephants mud bathing on the shores, several birds such as cormorants, cranes, darters along the river banks, crocodiles as well as snakes.
Kabini jungle safari is one of the famous tiger sighting in south India. Second largest tiger population in Karnataka is Kabini. Karanataka forest department provides 2 types of safari like bus & van safari.
Safari Timings:
Morning 6 to 9 & 6.30 to 9
Evening 3 to 6 & 3.30 to 6
Safari Fare:
3 hours Safari - Rs.869
2 1/2 hours Safari - Rs.610

Nice. One small correction - what you meant as black cheetah ( cheetahs are only in Africa - now brought by Modiji in Madhya Pradesh for breeding and safaris) is black panther. As many youngsters may be watching and learning from your videos, this correction is suggested. Yes Kabini is one of the nice forests in India. Another suggestion is you please request the accompanying forest guard to show some birds also, so that younger generation will get interested and develop this bird watching as a hobby. Forest is not only about tigers & elephants. Continue the great work. Best wishes.
