Plastic car door panel remover work great. For my forks I used a heat gun and dental floss.

Changing bag reflectors to “smoked” today ... forks are done ... but I installed that curved LED H-D license plate frame WITH the REFLECTOR 🤦♂️ ... thx for the video, I’m inspired to correct this momentary (but lasting) lapse in sanity!!! I’m taking this day as a snow day and removing it ... a low scale of difficulty and high scale of Pain in the A** - All black ‘19 RGS.
Wow man - you took that reflector off easy. I broke it into a bunch of pieces when I did it and it took me forever to get all that glue off of the fork tube
Some times finesse is required where brut strength isn’t lol
Now you just need some tinted lenses covers for signals and she'll be lookn tight! Bought em for my '18 with the LED halo signals. Nice video!!
Change the saddlebag reflectors to the smoked inserts. I did mine. Looks great

one tip , 20 pound fishing line for the front reflectors. use gloves or it can cut your hands. pull side to side putting pressure down and cut thru the tape.

Get the smoked reflectors for the bags they look good. Amazon has some. They also make a light kits for the bag reflectors.

They make smoked reflectors for the saddle bags if you don’t like the factory red
Taking the fronts off take nothing less than fishing line. No heat no goo gone. Just saw back and forth till it’s off. No miss no fuss. To get the bag reflectors out screw a screw into the reflector and then pull the screw out and the whole reflector comes with it.
I took my reflectors off saddlebags of my 2021 street glide special. I put smoked lens..LED & made them turn signals. I also took reflectors off forks..again..smoked lens, LED turn signals. You can’t see them until they are on.
They make lights to replace the reflectors on the bags. They act as brake lights, running lights and signal lights I believe

Saddle bag reflectors: eBay sells black inserts also I have seen one cat on youtube cover them up with 3M black vinyl sticker/wrap. Cut the vinyl over size, apply it and then trim with hobby knife

I covered my reflectors on the bags with black vinyl n a heat gun.
I used black vinyl wrap for my saddlebag reflectors

Saddle bag reflector can be changed to blinkers. Just ask Harley ......CUSTOM DYNAMIC.....BE GOOD..
I would recommend replacing the saddlebag red reflectors with silver ones. It matches better with the engine accents. .

Hi I did order some black reflexes from eBay. Did use the heat gun to remove the ugly yellow one (Europe) replaced them with nice black one same at front. Take care all!
Nope I didn't order any black reflector however I do have the Custom Dynamics saddle bag latch lights on the way.
That rear reflector is a bitch to get off! I took mine off today and man I tell you that was some work. Replace the TriBar as well and that was a job as well. All together my Road King Special is looking great. Thanks for the video it helped me out!

U can get them at a harley dealer or aftermrkt bike places,
go to ebay and you can get black ones that fit perfect , they are under $20.00

Yooo...good video, got my RGS 2020 last Wednesday!!! Suggestion,on those red reflectors on the saddle bags, use 3m high gloss black wrap...place them over the reflectors, use your heat gun for a good fit,get a box cutter to cut around the edges of the reflectors and BAM!!! NASTY...check out Dooworks page on UA-cam..the look is sick to me

Hey brother man check this channel out “Doowork” this guy also has Road Glide special as a matter of fact his whole family has Road Glides, any ways he has a video we’re he covered those reflectors with some kind of black vinyl tape and it looks amazing. Check it out, God Bless!!!
I always appreciate people keeping the motorcycle industry alive, but this is a bad move, man.
Motorcyclists are already hard to see, not to mention removing these reflectors is illegal.
It's your bike, do what you want, but removing safety features purely so you can "look cool" is beyond stupid, and a bad example to inexperienced riders.
You might as well ride with no helmet, jacket or any protective gear.

@@SAVAGE87able If it can ruin some finishes, it’s understood it’s harmful to all. A little heat and mineral oil will do the trick perfectly.
@@freebehindbars8654 Goo Gone is a commercial oil-based solvent and cleaner, has been deemed safe by its manufacturer for use on almost any surface, including vehicle paint. I’ve used Goo Gone for years on all my bikes and I’ve never had an issue with it.
@@SAVAGE87able There’s a reason they have an “Automotive” formula. I’m speaking from experience, when regular Goo Gone is used to remove paint transfer, it 100% harms the other surfaces. But hey, do you. I know people that rub dirt off paint, not thinking of the harm they are doing and end up with a swirled up pos finish.
God this video suck the first 3/4 of the video with you using a stupid heat gun and then when it comes to removing boys on the actual hard part you fast forward through the whole thing
