- Today I am sharing with you how to use 4 of the basic, and commonly used. Path Effects within Inkscape. These include the Corners LPE, Lattice Deformation, Perspective Envelope & Taper Stroke.

Hi Rob! I am very new to Inkscape and I just now ran across your channel. I love it! Thank you for explaining things so clearly. It also looks like you are using Inkscape 1.3.2, which is the version I'm using. That is a relief! I am attempting to teach myself how to make line drawing Mandalas in Inkscape for an adult coloring book I want to do. Unfortunately, all the tutorials I've come across are for older versions of Inkscape. Could you possibly find the time to make a tutorial on how to make mandalas using Inkscape 1.3? The tools I've been using are the Ellipse, Bezier Pen (really having trouble with the nodes on this one) and in Path Effects I'm using Mirror Symmetry, and Rotate Copies. I'm also using Guides for snapping. Thank you in advance.
Hello MyssahLee. Mandalas are something I have been considering doing a tutorial on for a while so I will look into creating one for you. I try to make my videos as accessible as possible for both new users and more advanced users alike. Working out how to make it easy to understand is the challenge but...I love a challenge lol.
Welcome to the channel & thank you for your kind words. I am indeed using the latest version (1.3.2). Just as an added extra bit of information, I know the method you are referring to so I think I know the issues you may be facing. There are a few methods you can use so I will look into the easiest one for want you need. Leave it with me and I will see what I can come up with

Hello again. I just wanted to give you an update 😄
I have made a couple of mandalas now to see if anything had changed (It has been a while since my last one 😅) & yes! Not a lot has changed since then but I now have a better understanding of the issues that you may have faced. Some little features may have been missed from other creators and after doing a quick search, I have not seen any of the other professional channels that have updated their mandala videos for 1.3.2. So in order to help, I will do a video for next week regarding mandalas, both for line work and full colour variations as I think a lot of my subscribers would, like yourself, appreciate it. Watch this space & thank you for the idea

Hi there my friend, thank you very much. The music I use is license-free from freesound.org/ It really is a great place for sound effects and generic music to use in content creation. Most free music requires attribution but freesound does not. Check them out.
7:12 that is definitely intended and not a bug. Don't go calling things bugs just because the program didn't do what you personally think it should do.
