If someone has a non-muscular nerve injury in the spine, is there any possibility of it ever being permanently fixed? I’ve been dealing with back pain for 6 years and after seeing some of the best doctors, therapists, and even surgeons I’m not sure it will ever go away.

Okay but what does a woman do who has a curved spine from pregnancy and it hurts every time I clean throughout the day and I have to pick up two of my kids who are disabled. My back is curved in wards not to either side. I can’t even lay back straight because of the curve. I also can not do sit ups anymore and that was my go to workout. And if I do try to do sit ups I put a pillow where my curve is and then the next day my back acts like I was trying to murd3r it. My curve is located right below my rib cage, so lower mid back. If you can help me that’s be nice.

Broke my back and hip being thrown from a truck in my 20s. I'm thankful to be walking.
Have to tolerate the pain but movements in general keep things in better condition than not moving at all.
I look forward to when I have 0 pain. Those "Drs" or whatever else the man made pdh licenses and papers claim, said I'd not be walking by a certain time. The unskilled and improperly educated will not profit off me.

From experience, some doctors won't even look at you, they'd fill a document with a bunch of answers he got from you, they'd send you to get some X-ray, echo or any other related tests and see you next time with the results. They'd frequently tell you to stop working out and take some pain killers, and that's it.

Oh man, I had to do emergency room for my back as well once, so sending my sympathy! I think with various stretches and exercises I’m finally doing a lot better. So happy there’s so many good resources online now. The book Back Mechanic had some good tips like really having good form whenever reaching for the floor. Some of Knees Over Toes Guy stuff has been good for my knee but also general activation of diff body parts that don’t usually get activity (via things like backward walking and full range of motion squats using heel wedges). Plus been using a band/bar/plate system (like X3 or Harambe) for things like deadlifts which lets you build strength but have no weight at the bottom, so is safer.

The spine is a single unit from top to bottom.
Get some resistance bands (starting light of course) and anchor the band to something whilst placing one end of the band on your head.
Do isometric holds (I do 3min rounds) for the back and sides of you head whilst standing and also a cat/cow position with the band pulling on your chin.
This will train stability of the entire spine and hips and save you a lot in medical bills

Watching these just makes me realize I'll probably never get fixed partly due to not being able to see a doctor.

    DAMM!
That’s me, post 8.5m fall off ladder in 2012. Haven’t worked since due to pain. I have had 37 operations. Lower back pain is the worse. I stretch all the time, all I get is pain with very short relief.
    But I keep doing it.
Never seen that leg stretch before.
Will definitely give it a go.
The longer I’m “vertical” (sitting, standing, walking) the more it increases.
    Literally drives me insane.

    BOOK REQUEST:
You need to write a textbook with a video DVD that teaches all these things to future physical therapists, doctors, nurses yet is easy enough to understand that regular people could buy it & fix our own bodies since many of us can’t afford medical care.

This is spot on to the issues I've had on my right aide for several years. Ive had MRI's and been to several Dr's and PT but no results. Recently ive started going down the path of hip issues as the cause and think I'm on the right track so this video is spot on.

It makes working out so much more effective and pain free. Any problem I’m experiencing can be corrected just by looking up my symptoms and doing the suggested warm ups or stretches!
