In episode 58 of whisky in SV, I did a review of the Thirteenth Colony Double Oaked Batch 2. I had never heard of Thirteenth Colony until about 6 months ago when every bourbon UA-camr started to sing its praise. After trying a sample, I knew I just had to get a bottle. It was certainly not cheap to acquire, but I have to admit that I am just blown away by the unique experience that it provides. I would go as far as to say that this is my favorite whisky of all time and there is nothing even close to it for me.
