hey Dakon. I really appreciate the comment, I really didnt think the bimmer stuff would get allot of views with comments like yours it proves me wrong! I am going to be putting up more. I believe my brother did put an aux on his, but I didnt film it (SORRY!!) but maybe I can do a video on how it was done. I think your right on the title I will change that now.
Thanks Dude... Was actually searching for a new switch when I found this vid. Took it out, and there was the back of it pushed off. Shoved it back on, and it works fine. (Gonna go with some hot glue instead of the duct tape). FYI, after removing the shifter trim and the 2 screws up front, I was able to lift the front of the console enough to push out the switch without having to bother with the rear of the console. Took about 15 minutes.
I was just searching how to remove the trim to clean under it since i noticed 14 years of grime build up underneath but it turns out my center lock is also not working even though hazards are, thanks for the easy 2 in 1 DIY!!!

was looking for a vid on how to remove that center console coz I want to repaint it (coz the factory rubber paint is peeling off and its ugly as hell) and since 1999-2005 3series cars are pretty similar this helped me on how to do what I wanted to do. good vid.

Mine has a different problem. The hazard lights turn on by themselves while I am driving or when the car is parked, day or night. I have been disconnecting the battery to avoid discharging it. Do you think this fix might work on my car?
How do you remove the wooden trim near the gear shifter? Im replacing mine with the titanium colored trim, but i dont know how to remove the window controls... if you could make a video showing how to remove that wood trim it would be much appreciated
just pull hard, and be careful not to punch yourself in the face when it lets go. to be clear I am talking about the wooden handle transmission shifter.

that sounds like a transmission issue, if you can shift into your drive gears I would suspect you out right lost reverse. hopefully you will continue your research to find a more direct answer. all the best.
slower standing start, slower acceleration, when breaking hard autos down gear too slow, use more fuel, cost more to repair, i just dont like them mate any auto bmw is a waste.

To save time, you can just carefully pry up the button out of the console, skipping all the other stuff. Takes about 15 seconds. Thanks for the video.

2000 BMW 323 Ci 5spd Manual owner replaced clutch and water pump relatively recently. 85K miles - is 6K a good deal or should I offer less?!

Just carefully place a butter knife under and lift up without removing half ya centre console works a treat!! gud vid though!!

bro says there are two screws holding the wood on after you remove those the switches pop out by pushing the tabs.

What did you use to make those cup holders? E46 makes me thirsty, first car you have to be dehydrated to drive.
