Hey Everybody at ShopLifeTV ! Love your videos ! Just wanted to tell you I did the auxillary input just like you showed, but when it came time to thread the female aux input into the ahstray, instead of drilling a hole into the bottom of the ashtray, my female was small enough to thread it through a space that opens up on the end where there's a cone shaped "butt" snuffer when you push out a little clear window that's there to allow a light to shine into the ashtray to light up the inside of the ashtray. Then I took a file and filed down the tip of the "butt" snuffer until the hole got big enough to accept the threaded end of the female aux and also letting the female in far enough that when you put the threaded end in you can attach the small threaded retaining ring that will secure the female aux. !!! Question. !! If I get a used oem head unit from a 04 bmw do I have to reprogram it or something like that. Kinda like how Hondas radios are?
Have you done a video on how to use/connect the factory hands free cell phone controls on the steering wheel plus the factory mic?
I have bmw business cassette 09-02 and the same aux cable with you. But the aux mode it doesn't shows.
What should i do?

First of all thanks for video! But i have a question. I got e46 2004 year model vagon with original 16:9 screen cd/navigation headunit. I bought a cable for aux, installed it and nothing. When i press mode button it still shows only cd or fm/am. Is it posible that for this year car and this kind of headunit aux option won't work? Or i should try another aux cable, in case this one is bad?
Phones don't even have AUX port any more but I still watched lol
Awesome info and wonderful editing. Super.
