I had a medical incident back in June and am unable to drive a vehicle. One of my rehab goals was to be able to ride my bike, a Cannondale CAADX. Well, I ended up moving the goal posts a little bit and recently picked up a Specialized Roll 3.0 Low Entry. Not only does it kinda fulfill one of my goals (though I strive to eventually ride the Cannondale) again, it has become my primary mode of transportation and utility.
Sub'ed to your channel after hearing you on a podcast but hadn't gotten around to watching too many vids. Also didn't know you're in Loveland! I'm in Pueblo West. Love the content!
My wife has a Cannondale Treadwell that is like a grown up cruiser bmx bike, just like that. It's light, reliable, and really fun to ride. She commutes to her office on it.
I've got a non-step through Roll... Bought a new take off set of wheels and put studs on one set and slightly thinner tires on the other. All season rolling now:) I also got rid of that seat and those handlebars for a less "cuppy" seat and some VO granola bars. I agree, it's just fun and actually performs pretty well. The Marin Larkspur is just as fun.
My neighed was going to throw his out. I said heck no this thing is just too cool. Like u said it’s different like a giant cruiser Bmx even kinda man bikeish. It needed a rear derailleur which I still have to tune I my self had a spare shimano tourney. I wonder how good it is a wheelies, I’ll like to with the kids bang some wheelies😂thanks for the info and great vids👊🏼👍🏼✌🏼
I would add the seatpost and not the front suspension. You are more upright, and a front shock would just add weight. This should work; just double-check the size. amzn.to/3Zs7j7e

My favorite bike. So comfortable and just makes bike riding fun! I could ride it all day.
Couldn't agree more!
I don't think cleaning will hurt but it's a good time to start teaching eye protection. Glad to see her helping.
You are so right, thanks for being that to my attention.

Those are nice as well. Thanks for sharing.
Great vid. How well does the Roll do on climbing steep hills?
Does really well with the triple up front.

What seat suspension and handlebar suspension would you recommend for the Roll?
I would add the seatpost and not the front suspension. You are more upright, and a front shock would just add weight. This should work; just double-check the size. amzn.to/3Zs7j7e
can you mod that to a 1x 12 speed?
You can, but there is a lot of parts that need to be swapped out.
