Saving fx chains with offlined fx can speed things up, and only activate fx which you will actually use. Loading fx chain this way is way quicker.

I'm colourblind so i tend to avoid using colours as a way of labelling. I used to have templates and stuff, but wing it most days. I do save fave settings in effects like my EQ boost to hear bass better on small speakers.

I've only watched the first 50 seconds of this video but I've been going through the same thing I started making effects chains and track templates to get out of the way of my creating because a lot of times I pick similar ones or I just know a good starting place but I have to remember the whole chain, on my older DAW computer I have over a thousand plugins that I'm in the process of really trimming that down anything that gets in the way of creating like pop-ups or having to reactivate every so often or anything is getting deleted.
