Maaaaan! I've been waiting for this theme, watching at your progress in instagram stories. Downloaded it and the only thing i've changed is brightness in theme adjuster and rgb values for colors. Docked the theme adjuster as you did in one of the screenshots i've found on reaper forums. Thank you a lot for your work!

I've been sticking to Reaper's stock theme since version 3, very ugly theme but functional nevertheless. But thank god you came to the community. One question, what are the exact names of the files to get the mcp 45° lines in the folders?
I managed to get these lines on the edit view but everytime I swap some images, the 45° lines of the mixer are getting on the left side instead of the right. Sorry, can't post any images here which makes it tricky to explain 😅
My time signature background colour is completely black as well, and I couldn't change it through the theme tweaker action list :(
Big thank you to you, ReaperTips (and TCP spacers) - I *finally* feel comfortable in front of my Reaper GUI. It doesn't feel such a dog's dinner any more. I might be able to start actually using it now. Just one thing, though: your ReaperTips theme is brilliant but my midi editor still looks *not* great. Any tips on getting it to look more like yours? Thanks again.

Your mouse cursor is memorising me lol, why is it so smooth and floaty like that? :)
Aaa I've been experimenting with adding smoothing to the cursor after filming. I was moving my mouse way too fast in this video I thought the smoothing would help 😅

I'll definitely try this theme since the one I got doesn't allow for much scaling since it would break the meters and stuff.
Question: Does this theme come with customizing MCP just like TCP? Particularly if you can put the track name on the top instead of the bottom without switching layouts? Wish there was a way to name tracks console style. That'd be cool.

Hi, great video, but there's one thing - how do you make all the pop up windows(like fx list, preferences,etc.) have black background with white letters on? Mine are always white with black letters and it's no good...even when I changed to Reaper 6 default view( normally I prefer Reaper 5 theme) it still remained the same..
i notice when i use the theme (Im using windows), the window background is now turn into dark mode (like when i open action menu list, the BG is now dark grey instead of normal white), is there any chances u know how to change that?
Thanks for this. The new v7 themes are excellent - but I don't like the way they all seem to default to displaying the track input panel in the mixer if that is open. Is there a way to defeat this? I use multiple screens and I don't need the i/p panel displayed on the mixer channels. It's clutter!
Are themes able to be used in the evaluation license?
Only issue with un-checking 'show dotted grid lines' is you loose visibility for stuff like markers
Hi, i compressed it to a zip file it didnt look like yours at all. Like when i click on the unzipped file it just has the Reapertips Theme in it. And when I click on it it just opens up the theme in reaper. please (Windows version)

I remember seeing them in Reaper 6
I see global settings but not mixer or envelope

In windows i cannot unpack your theme. If i open the unpacked Theme in Reaper, it shows an ugly 1.0 version, without loading the images.
I have made a theme before, and that one works for me.
The theme file and the unpacked folder's name is not the same, but if i change it to the same, nothing happens.
in normal reaper - if i colour a group of tracks and the folder containing them .. THEN later on add another track into that folder - it doesnt adopt the colour of that group.. How do I get any added track to take on the colour of the group/folder its added to ?
Hello ReaperTips, is there any way I can change the color of the meters on the track when it is armed? I am not a big fan of the yellow color.
Yes! that's fine ~
You will have to tweak the file inside the theme called "meter_strip_v" and "meter_strip_h". You can see where the yellow lines are and change them with photoshop or something similar. Or you can import the meter from another theme that you like ~

i want the background to be 16 beats light 16 beats dark... how can i do this?

Absolutely love the theme but I can't get the track effects to show up on the track FX portion. I'm on windows and when I right click the track the thing you say to click in the instructions isn't there. Any help is welcome. I am on the latest version of Reaper, as of May 20 2024.
Hi Charles! Maybe you are not clicking in an empty area of the Track Panel? Don't click the track, click the area. Let me know how it goes!
Nice theme and nice video. I downloaded and tried to drag it into reaper and also just double click it to run it, but nothing happened. Any idea why?
Hello! hmm it should be as easy as that, yea! not sure why it isnt working. Did you make sure you are dragging the theme? The file is called "Reapertips Theme (TCP Rightside FX).ReaperThemeZip"

right click on the font>select open with>Font Book...Font Book will open, then select install
