Happy birthday, Christine! I love the progress you have made on your wreath of all seasons and that little Mill Hill spring finish is just adorable!🙃🌸 Your knitting is inspiring! I am a true beginner so I will look forward to your progress. Enjoy spring in your beautiful state!🌼🦋🐛
Christine love the progress you are making in your cross stitching and enjoyed watching your knitting. They all are looking great. The baby sweater is adorable. I like the horse kit it is really beautiful. I always enjoy watching your channel. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless
Pat
Thank you Pat! I really just need to keep the horses in rotation even if it's just a few lengths a week. I'm dying to get the the BEST part....the Horses! Happy Stitching!
Hi Christine ❤. Yay, you made a vlog. Thank you. Your wreath and sea gull look great, and wow, that baby sweater and hat are beautiful! No worries about the MB wip. I'm going to slowly work on my MB wip this month. I moved it to my morning stitch which means that it will get a few stitches a day before I go to work and a little extra on the weekends. ❤ Happy Birthday 🎉 🎈🎂. Please share what you will be working on for your bday my lovely friend.
I knew you were probably surprised to see this video, lol! I really just didn't feel like filming until I did! I'm sorry I sort failed on our SAL, but I want to keep encouraging you to stick with yours because it will be soooo beautiful. It's still one of my most favorite finishes!
@@calico_whimsy you did not fail at all. One day it will call your name. Also, you started to help me get started and you succeeded. I'm making it my morning 🌄 stitch focus for April . Thank you so much for the starting push 😊 ❤️
Hi Christine. Maybe you could just stitch your favorite motif from the large M. Bastin design on another fabric so you’re not as overwhelmed. Im impressed that you completed her older seasonal design. They are both BAPs. The milk can design is adorable.
Yes, the more I think about it, the more I will just stitch bits and pieces of that design. I'm not sure what I would do with such a large piece once finished, anyway 😂
Love everything that you showed in this Video. Everything is so pretty.
Take Care & Happy Stitching

Thank you! I can't wait ti dive into the Fall section in a few months!
Love seeing your before and afters you blog about. It honest motivation to just keep stitching :) Happy spring 💗
Thank you! I'm happy to inspire you to keep putting those stitches in!
I find your videos so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your stitching and knitting!
Thank you! I'm so happy you find inspiration here. That's my #1 goal!
What a wonderful job with the knitting, Christine! ❤ Much better than I would do, for sure! 😂
Your wreath is really coming along as well! I'm excited to see more of the horses, of course. 😅
Thank you!!! It's been fun playing with some yarn again!! 🩷🩷
Wow I love your hat I think you did an awesome job. That baby sweater is so sweet. Happy crafting Patty
Thanks Patty!!
You inspired me to get the wreath of seasons kit. I love the colors and seeing your progress! I’m looking forward to seeing the finished piece! Keep stitching! ❤
That's great! I'm sure you will love stitching it!
Great job on all of your projects 👏 👍 I love the hat and sweater great job
Thank you!! Happy April 💐🐝
Wow you have inspired me to pick up my knitting needles again and try out that baby sweater. I love all your content that you share. I can't wait to see what your next video will have on it :) Always so wonderful to watch!
Thank you!! I'm always happy to have you stop by for a visit! Happy Stitching!
Love seeing all your stitching and updates as always ❤ can't wait to see how hat 2.0 comes out in your new colors!
Thanks Morgan! I need to get going on that hat.....:)
Everything is looking fabulous!
I hope you don't put your big big mb away as I own it too! It could be our forever project, motiv by motiv.
But for now take a break from it.
Loved catching up with you, and what a cute milk jug!
Kat
We will be stitching that thing in our retirement homes, lol! You better get started on yours :)
Great update. So many pretty cross stitch projects. Your knitted pieces are lovely! Simply in Stitches here on YT did a step by step sweater tutorial for beginners. She has a playlist and the pattern was free if i remember correctly. Wishing you a glorious April!
Thank you! I love Tina's channel! I'll have to check out her sweater tutorial! Happy April Stitching!
Wonderful progress again! And I am glad the the horse kit got some loving again, too. I agree that it is hard to work on project when there is a lot of fabric. I would totally avoid it and work on anything else possible instead. Maybe you need to stitch those seasons separately? ❤
Hi Laura! I have often thought about breaking that big project up into smaller ones. I could still do it a this point and that would actually making the finishing a little more manageable. Right now, this thing will be so big, how will I ever display it!?! I will have to revisit this thinking before I move on!
Enjoyed your video. I'm a little behind in my flosstube watching because I took a crochet detour. Stitching looks great. I enjoy the knitting segment. Always interested in new and different crafts. I don't knit but maybe one day will try it. Tunisian crochet looks interesting as well. 😀
Crafting detours are always fun! I have tried Tunisian crochet in the past and I feel like I didn't enjoy the small bit I did. I see a lot of it and may revisit it again someday! Happy multicrafting!!
Great knitting :)
Thank you! 😊
I was just thinking of you today! I started a Dimensions stamped cross stitch kit called "A Season for Everything" and plan on doing Spring now, then Summer in Summer, Winter in Winter, etc. but it's not quite as I expected because it is all stamped on "pillowcase material" and also includes more than cross stitch, which is where you come in. :D
It has loads of flowers that all need to be SATIN stitched with french knots in the middle! So I remembered how you really dislike satin stitch and I kept wondering to myself things like, "I wonder if she would try to applique something here instead of doing the satin stitch lol. The world may never know! But I got about half of the Spring flowers satin stitched, so only another half more to go! (And of course the other seasons have the same, but I'll worry about those when I get to them!)
Here's my thoughts 😁I have realized that satin stitch is a great skill to have, so I say embrace it and use this as an opportunity to perfect the skill! It's a beautiful stitch and super useful. I'm starting to get better at it. Try not to base your thoughts of satin stitch on mine....you may love it! Keep me posted! 🩷🩷🩷
@@calico_whimsy I did all the satin stitches for the Spring section, which were the flowers and the door and windows on the cute little barn. I can't say that every stitch perfectly sits next to each other, or that if I later saw a small gap that I didn't just go back and "fill it in" with another stitch, but it's done. No idea if they look how they are supposed to, but they look like flowers and the backstitching will define them even more, so I think these were a success! :D
@@rebeccachapman1231 sounds like a win to me ! 👏🩷
Your knitting is lovely Christine, the top looks fine, I think you’re too hard on yourself! Re the Marjolan piece (spelling is wrong I’m sure) could you pick a section of it and make your own project? The wreath is coming on well and the gull piece 👏🏻 Hope you have a lovely birthday, I’d join in but don’t have anything in my stash appropriate, I will have a look through my magazines and see is there a nice seaside piece, even if only a small piece.. have a great week ahead ❤
Thanks Sharon! No pressure if you can't find a seaside themed piece. You can start anything new if you feel like it! Have fun with it!
@@calico_whimsy thanks 😊
