I remember when the idea of adding ash darters was first purposed. Iirc the discussion went that direction due to a 2d concept art of an ashlander weapon or clothing piece having some colorful feathers on it, using the Ash Darter's existence in lore as an explanation, leading to discussion that it might work better if they were actually in game?
Correct on all points! It made sense to use Skyrim's hawks for something, and adding plumes to mature cliff racers felt like too much of a devation (though making the head crest plumage rather than keratinous/boney was considered). Our cliff darters are only similar in passing to those of ESO and honestly we don't have a thorough fan canon for them - but maybe we will by release.
Seeing the few entitled people in these comments complaining about the time the project is taking is irritating, I hope they dont get to the devs too much and you know that the vast majority of people here love you guys and everything you have done.

Don't be so harsh. People are just really excited to play this mod. It's just very frustrating that mod development is so slow. That is no slur on modders just a simple fact that mods take a lot longer to make than full games due to modders having to work in spare time with limited help.

Especially if the fog is so dense and close like at 51:20, while at other ingame days you might be able to catch a glimpse through the fog at the red mountain or other landmarks in the far distance. Under sun and sky, you amazing humans, 2024 greets you warmly! ♥️ I am always so stoked to see everything from your creative minds and hardworking hands! 🤩 The loading screens! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Can't wait to hoard every weapon I find in-game just to gorge my greedy little gremlin eyes on the awesome descriptions 😁😁 Underwater combat! Neat! Mind you, I never did understand why you can't use magic underwater, when it by all logical reasoning should be easier than swinging a weapon against all that pressure... 😆 Five seconds in and we get a cliffie. You have it all nailed down 😆😁 The mushroom tower looks mightily majestic! And the little details, like the grass/weeds hanging from the stairs! The Ash Darter is both insanely adorable and incredibly cool 🤩 Also, birds are still dinosaurs, right? So a toothy beak is the right evolutionary avenue to go with, methinks 😆 ...especially when you share your living space with cliff racers, hah. And the view!! Gosh, I can't wait to see Vivec's palace and its stellar crown of space and fire up close! And the mushroom roots!!! (Mycelium, technically...) And the Telvanni robes! And WOAH, flying NPCs?! Now truly nowhere will be safe 😆😆 (Seriously, tho, awesome job!!!!) Love how much thought you're putting into level designing! Great idea with the mortar and pestle 😊 And Azura is indeed gorgeous 🤩 And more elaborate Daedric ruins, heck yeah! And OOOOH, book art!!! Book covers!! Illustrations!!! (The magic of the extraordinarily talented Fury_On, I dare guess!) Oh, and finally we get to grab a broom around the house, yessss 😆😆 The loading thingy dial is gorgeous, honestly. Hlaalu!! Luxury and comfort in one sweet package!! The plants! The cozy ambient atmosphere of the individual rooms! AND UNCLE C HAS A LITTLE STAGE IN HIS MANOR ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That is just spectacular 🤩🤩😂 (Still hoping with my whole heart we'll get those scripted plays on the plaza somewhere 😜🥰😁) And gosh, again and again: I love the posters and the murals and the decorations!!! And the Library.... My jaw legit dropped when you looked up. ♥️♥️♥️ This won't sound surprising at all: I can't wait to get lost in Vivec city once it's all finished! Love the little icons for active effects, too. Very succint! And we will get a new dragon statue as well? 😮 Yipeee!! You spoil us, honestly 🥰🥰 And Ebonheart looks fantastic. Love love love how you've coupled the familiarity of the locations with a breath of fresh air, design-wise. And THE IMPERIAL ARMOR HECK YESSSSSSS that's just gorgeous, okay? 🤩 And love the golden armor too. Great job with that! Oooh, the public transport folks got new voice lines, sweet! 😁 Excellent immersion😌 And again, the loading screens are stunning. Simply stunning. And I love the bits of lore passed our way through them! The glowing vines/mushrooms/growths on the trees!! Fantastic atmosphere amplifiers 😊 Can't wait to see warning posters for Imperial tourists 😁😁😁 The inclusion of spoken Dunmeri is incredible in itself, but a quest to teach us the language in some capacity which has direct influence on your playthrough?! YOU GUYS!!!!🤩🤩🤩 I'm running out of adjectives at this point 😅😁😁 Glorious, awesome work. Again: loving the posters!!!!! Adding so so much to the game world!! 🥰 And the tapestries!! AND PATRIC--- I MEAN URIEL FANART! 🤩 And the books!!! And Imperial City --- Larius, you sentimental wreck, you! ...you really went all out with everything ♥️😁 And the textures - the stone! Nice work there, too 😊 I enjoy the random NPC lines; again, more stuff that makes the game breathe and feel so very alive 😊 And the cozy nooks! And plants! And the detailed work on the assets like flasks and furniture!! Grazelands feel very fresh! Current Vos is what its inhabitants would want it to look like, undoubtedly.. 😜 And did I spot a lighthouse there? 🤓 What was the creature you zoomed in on...? I don't know if I recall seeing your scrib designs, but it didn't seem like a scrib - another one of your fauna additions, then? 😊 Ashlander camp! I know how much work you're putting into crafting a strong and individual sense of community and style for each tribe, can't wait to see it fully fleshed out! Will there be different types of yurts, or will you just tweak the existing ones on a case-by-case basis? 😊 (Right now the camp looks a bit, hmm, uniform, perhaps..? But maybe that's just the part you ran through...) And the Ghostfence!! Yes, yes, it needs that steam-overflow-thingy, but it is spectacular. And the colour!! Kudos to Zix for his work on the Dunmeri strongholds, I'm very very curious what the final version will look like - they were rather, hm, plain in vanilla, so I'm sure you awesome folks have many many plans for their improvement! 😁 Aaah, I think I saw a scrib! Looking beautiful as always 😌 Oooh, the ash-covered terrain looks /dope/! I was just about to comment how great the new music tracks are - and huh, didn't realize there was that much legal obstructions regarding the original soundtrack... I do hope you'll indeed be able to at least use the "old" ones via Dragonborn - we can't have Vvardenfell completely bereft of its classic tunes! ♥️😌😁 OOOH DO I SEE A GUAR IN THE SURAN STABLE?! 🤩🤩 And yes yes yes, the weather and the lighting work wonderfully 😇 The strongholds look very interesting! Great work with keeping the shapes and angles in the original style; once the textures are there too, it's gonna be superb, I'm sure 😊 Oh, and I recall some update/post of yours regarding the hot springs in the area, can't wait to let my Nerevarine warm their bones in there (and it's gonna be just bones, I'm afraid, as there will quite definitely be some subspecies of slaughterfish adapted to the temperature, even deadlier than the original ones 😆😆😆) ♥️ Daedric ruins /should/ look at least a little insane, IMO, but giving them a more "actually has been in usage" look is nice and reasonable, I suppose - I mean, the sort of unearthly, chaotic architectural style where angles and walls and spikes just Don't Work Like They're Supposed To and the more you look at them, the less sure you are of the ground beneath your feet and all that -- that is narratively delightful, but actual hell to make and get to work with other assets etc., I'm sure 😆😆😆 Guar mounts would be amazing, but your reasoning against them is more than sound - still, if somebody took the time to create them as a mod after SW is released, even if just for roleplaying purposes, it would be very cool 😁 ...also, do I understand it correctly that speed won't increase with Athletics but will instead be a set value right from the start...? 🤔🧐 Gahhhh, I just love how cozy the Velothi tower interior looks 🥺☺️ The Telvanni know a lot of things and taking care of beautiful plants is one of them! Also, again and again: excellent work making the tower more interesting and lived-in! Oooh, I quite like that the fire from the Fire Orb spell dissipates quickly, but where it hits, it sticks; a realistic fireball, mwah! 😁 Are there any plans for different 'skins' for Diseased and Blighted creatures? As in, a Blighted Rat that looks visibly sick or something like that? 😊 LOVE the sound effects! Am sure that after several hours of playing and casting we'll be able to differentiate the spells by ear alone 😁😁 AND THE ICE JAVELIN IS JUST COOL BEYOND COOL! (pun fully intended) 🤩🤩🤩 Again, my jaw dropped and I nearly shrieked in excitement. And more Ashlanders! (I hope - very strongly - that there will be that iconic wood chimes sound; can't imagine visiting their camps and not hearing it 🥺🥺🥺♥️) Love the lights, love the bone decorations!! And Fury_On is just incredible. Absolutely spectacular art, every single piece he does!! 🤩🤩🤩 AND THE MURALS OH BY THE THREE THE MURALS!!! I will just stand in front of them for hours, I know. Illustrated 2920?! I am just grinning like a fool over here. Drooling a bit, too. Tapestries! With woven stories! Jewellry! So gorgeous it will be very tempting to walk around bare-chested just to show it off! Clothing accessories! All of it so wonderfully vivid and detailed, by the stars, you are glorious, every single one of you ♥️♥️♥️ And all the art in Dal's library!! The BOOKS!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 And the curved murals, oh myyyyy 😍 I appreciate the Aldruhn walls/battlements; can't wait to see old Skar in its full glory!😊😊 YEAR OF THE MOUNTAIN LET'S GOOOO 😎😎😎 Ah, a dance-off with dear Dagoth? Come on, that would be an unbeatable challenge! He literally had thousands of years to practice his moves 😖😆 But all your plans sound extremely exciting; I will keep on gushing about this project to anyone willing (and unwilling) to listen, trying to get the creation-skilled people to join in, because it deserves all the love and all the hard work and all the careful care! Oooh, a smoker vent, interesting! Gosh, love the geology of Vvardenfell. And even more awesome fire magic effects!!! 🤩 Excellent work, that!! Fargoth sounds PERFECT. And yeah, he really should, like, hire Fury_On to make him a Missing Person-style poster for that darn ring of his 😆 And we end in Balmora with explosions a-plenty and the Hlaalu guards finally earning their pay! With their gorgeous armor, too. WHAT A STREAM! Honestly, as always, thank you ever so much for your enthusiasm, your passion, your skills and your humour - and thank you for sharing your progress with us 😊😊😊♥️ Three's blessings upon you all!!!! 😍

Five seconds in and we get a cliffie. You have it all nailed down 😆😁
The mushroom tower looks mightily majestic!
And the little details, like the grass/weeds hanging from the stairs!
The Ash Darter is both insanely adorable and incredibly cool 🤩
Also, birds are still dinosaurs, right? So a toothy beak is the right evolutionary avenue to go with, methinks 😆 ...especially when you share your living space with cliff racers, hah.
And the view!! Gosh, I can't wait to see Vivec's palace and its stellar crown of space and fire up close!
And the mushroom roots!!! (Mycelium, technically...)
And the Telvanni robes! And WOAH, flying NPCs?! Now truly nowhere will be safe 😆😆
(Seriously, tho, awesome job!!!!)
Love how much thought you're putting into level designing! Great idea with the mortar and pestle 😊
And Azura is indeed gorgeous 🤩
And more elaborate Daedric ruins, heck yeah!
And OOOOH, book art!!! Book covers!! Illustrations!!! (The magic of the extraordinarily talented Fury_On, I dare guess!)
Oh, and finally we get to grab a broom around the house, yessss 😆😆
The loading thingy dial is gorgeous, honestly.
Hlaalu!! Luxury and comfort in one sweet package!! The plants! The cozy ambient atmosphere of the individual rooms!
AND UNCLE C HAS A LITTLE STAGE IN HIS MANOR ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That is just spectacular 🤩🤩😂
(Still hoping with my whole heart we'll get those scripted plays on the plaza somewhere 😜🥰😁)
And gosh, again and again: I love the posters and the murals and the decorations!!!
And the Library....
My jaw legit dropped when you looked up. ♥️♥️♥️
This won't sound surprising at all: I can't wait to get lost in Vivec city once it's all finished!
Love the little icons for active effects, too. Very succint!
And we will get a new dragon statue as well? 😮 Yipeee!! You spoil us, honestly 🥰🥰
And Ebonheart looks fantastic. Love love love how you've coupled the familiarity of the locations with a breath of fresh air, design-wise.
And THE IMPERIAL ARMOR HECK YESSSSSSS that's just gorgeous, okay? 🤩
And love the golden armor too. Great job with that!
Oooh, the public transport folks got new voice lines, sweet! 😁
Excellent immersion😌
And again, the loading screens are stunning. Simply stunning. And I love the bits of lore passed our way through them!
The glowing vines/mushrooms/growths on the trees!! Fantastic atmosphere amplifiers 😊
Can't wait to see warning posters for Imperial tourists 😁😁😁
The inclusion of spoken Dunmeri is incredible in itself, but a quest to teach us the language in some capacity which has direct influence on your playthrough?! YOU GUYS!!!!🤩🤩🤩
I'm running out of adjectives at this point 😅😁😁
Glorious, awesome work.
Again: loving the posters!!!!! Adding so so much to the game world!! 🥰
And the tapestries!!
AND PATRIC--- I MEAN URIEL FANART! 🤩
And the books!!!
And Imperial City --- Larius, you sentimental wreck, you!
...you really went all out with everything ♥️😁
And the textures - the stone! Nice work there, too 😊
I enjoy the random NPC lines; again, more stuff that makes the game breathe and feel so very alive 😊
And the cozy nooks! And plants! And the detailed work on the assets like flasks and furniture!!
Grazelands feel very fresh!
Current Vos is what its inhabitants would want it to look like, undoubtedly.. 😜
And did I spot a lighthouse there? 🤓
What was the creature you zoomed in on...? I don't know if I recall seeing your scrib designs, but it didn't seem like a scrib - another one of your fauna additions, then? 😊
Ashlander camp!
I know how much work you're putting into crafting a strong and individual sense of community and style for each tribe, can't wait to see it fully fleshed out!
Will there be different types of yurts, or will you just tweak the existing ones on a case-by-case basis? 😊
(Right now the camp looks a bit, hmm, uniform, perhaps..? But maybe that's just the part you ran through...)
And the Ghostfence!!
Aaah, I think I saw a scrib! Looking beautiful as always 😌
Oooh, the ash-covered terrain looks /dope/!
OOOH DO I SEE A GUAR IN THE SURAN STABLE?! 🤩🤩
And yes yes yes, the weather and the lighting work wonderfully 😇
The strongholds look very interesting! Great work with keeping the shapes and angles in the original style; once the textures are there too, it's gonna be superb, I'm sure 😊
Oh, and I recall some update/post of yours regarding the hot springs in the area, can't wait to let my Nerevarine warm their bones in there (and it's gonna be just bones, I'm afraid, as there will quite definitely be some subspecies of slaughterfish adapted to the temperature, even deadlier than the original ones 😆😆😆) ♥️
Daedric ruins /should/ look at least a little insane, IMO, but giving them a more "actually has been in usage" look is nice and reasonable, I suppose - I mean, the sort of unearthly, chaotic architectural style where angles and walls and spikes just Don't Work Like They're Supposed To and the more you look at them, the less sure you are of the ground beneath your feet and all that -- that is narratively delightful, but actual hell to make and get to work with other assets etc., I'm sure 😆😆😆
Guar mounts would be amazing, but your reasoning against them is more than sound - still, if somebody took the time to create them as a mod after SW is released, even if just for roleplaying purposes, it would be very cool 😁
...also, do I understand it correctly that speed won't increase with Athletics but will instead be a set value right from the start...? 🤔🧐
Gahhhh, I just love how cozy the Velothi tower interior looks 🥺☺️
The Telvanni know a lot of things and taking care of beautiful plants is one of them!
Also, again and again: excellent work making the tower more interesting and lived-in!
Oooh, I quite like that the fire from the Fire Orb spell dissipates quickly, but where it hits, it sticks; a realistic fireball, mwah! 😁
Are there any plans for different 'skins' for Diseased and Blighted creatures? As in, a Blighted Rat that looks visibly sick or something like that? 😊
LOVE the sound effects! Am sure that after several hours of playing and casting we'll be able to differentiate the spells by ear alone 😁😁
AND THE ICE JAVELIN IS JUST COOL BEYOND COOL! (pun fully intended) 🤩🤩🤩
Again, my jaw dropped and I nearly shrieked in excitement.
And more Ashlanders!
(I hope - very strongly - that there will be that iconic wood chimes sound; can't imagine visiting their camps and not hearing it 🥺🥺🥺♥️)
Love the lights, love the bone decorations!!
And Fury_On is just incredible.
Absolutely spectacular art, every single piece he does!! 🤩🤩🤩
AND THE MURALS OH BY THE THREE THE MURALS!!!
All of it so wonderfully vivid and detailed, by the stars, you are glorious, every single one of you ♥️♥️♥️
And all the art in Dal's library!! The BOOKS!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
And the curved murals, oh myyyyy 😍
I appreciate the Aldruhn walls/battlements; can't wait to see old Skar in its full glory!😊😊
YEAR OF THE MOUNTAIN LET'S GOOOO 😎😎😎
Ah, a dance-off with dear Dagoth? Come on, that would be an unbeatable challenge! He literally had thousands of years to practice his moves 😖😆
But all your plans sound extremely exciting; I will keep on gushing about this project to anyone willing (and unwilling) to listen, trying to get the creation-skilled people to join in, because it deserves all the love and all the hard work and all the careful care!
Oooh, a smoker vent, interesting! Gosh, love the geology of Vvardenfell.
And even more awesome fire magic effects!!! 🤩 Excellent work, that!!
Fargoth sounds PERFECT.
And yeah, he really should, like, hire Fury_On to make him a Missing Person-style poster for that darn ring of his 😆
And we end in Balmora with explosions a-plenty and the Hlaalu guards finally earning their pay!
With their gorgeous armor, too.
WHAT A STREAM!
Honestly, as always, thank you ever so much for your enthusiasm, your passion, your skills and your humour - and thank you for sharing your progress with us 😊😊😊♥️
Three's blessings upon you all!!!! 😍
Holy crap! This is looking amazing so far 😍
I am hyped!!! Morrowind is my favorite TES game! Keep up the great work!
You guys/gals are awesome!
amazing!
*You're* breathtaking!
I'm really looking forward to it. Now I’m playing Morrowind once again, but this time in the VR version and Skywind will also be played straight away in VR
YES YES YES YES YES
Let me just say volunteers like this the are angels of this world
This is going to take another 200 hours of my life
Volunteer to contribute and you could bring that figure way up!
This looks great!
god bless you guys and hoping to play it in my lifetime :D you have done an amazing thing
UI is a masterpiece. Whoever created its design, hats down
Looks incredible
Nice.
If anyone says game development isn’t art, they are simply lost. The detail in every single insignificant object in this from you all of you guys is better than I’ve ever seen after 20 years slapped in front of the console. And that’s just a simple plant pot for god sake..
when he was talking about the conveniently placed methods of levitation i was very happy
there will be no fear and we can all just accept that yes there may be no way to reach deeper in without levitation but there will be levitation somewhere in the dungeon to be had
The player can levitate in a very similar way to Morrowind! It's NPCs that will be much more limited.
Amazing!!!
You're all doing amazing work! Hopefully some of the excitement from Fallout London will spill over onto the other megamods being made, you guys deserve many more eyes on you :)
This is really awesome!!!! I'm so happy to see this
Talos bless you skywind team 🙏
You guys are truly goated, ill definitely buy and play when this comes out
Its a mod, its going to be free.
Replaying the original ESIII in preparation for this.
yeah play the game thats actually out. this will never come out. its been a decade.
Great video Skywind. I will love to see gameplay videos or what the features you put that Skyrim did not have in the game.
I personally think the WILLPOWER attribute being tied to magicka regeneration is a great idea! By default it regenerates really slowly, but the more you pour into willpower, the faster and faster it regenerates. Genius idea! It would be soooooo immersive
