Mock Driving Test - UK Practical Driving Test
This is Ibrahim, who came to us to do a mock test and see where he could make some improvements. He rides a motorbike and is familiar with the roads and has experience from driving in different countries. He fails this mock test for signals correctly on roundabouts.
In the video the text colour would mean:
GREEN: GOOD POINTS
AMBER: ADVISORY AND MINOR FAULTS
RED: SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FAULTS
These videos are designed to show you mistakes and how to fix them.

It must be tough for learners doing the right thing and seeing the general public out there doing their own thing with signals
The way i see driving is, once you've passed, you've only just started, you're on ya own, no instructor to hit the brakes, you have to deal with morons doing everything wrong because most drivers after a few years make their own road rules and you have to be there watching or they run into you.
@@teralus1078 😊😊
33:05 How is that two lanes? Any more left and he’ll be on the kerb
Just passed today; love watching these videos
Congratulations man hope your safe and well 👍
Congrats!!
auto or manual you've passed?
@@gullyzhen5885 manual :)
How do you feel?
9:03 What was that lmao
Ikr 😂
road rage
I actually think they crashed into each other’s side, if you listen to it 😂 it even looks like they bumped the way their cars move
@@abbiejames1361 The 'clunk,' I think is just the indicator cancelling.
So this is my channel that is name abdirahman Target official channel
37:00 my driving instructor said I could use larger vehicles as a 'shield' at roundabouts. So glad that these videos exist. Rules are so well explained.
I didn’t know signalling left when exiting a mini roundabout was a fault
Same! My instructor always tells me to
I'm confused, he got 2 minors for signaling left to come off mini roundabouts, but no minor for signaling left to go straight on at a mini roundabout?
I can see he’s coming point , it is dangerous .
20:45 The reverse on the right exercise. This always makes me smile, you pull up draw your vehicle forward slowly, get it square and parallel to the kerb with your wheels straight about 6 - 12 inches away from the kerb. Logically you go straight back, but no every body does a little steering as the car moves then corrects it and ends up doing bigger and bigger left/right steering correction sequences. It is easy to fail like this because you become obsessed with the kerb position and fail to see all incoming hazards.
you see guys how complicated this test is this guy drives better than most ppl but failes anyway its a joke the uk is a joke waste of life everything is sorry no.
That comment desperately needs some commas lmao.
It's tough, yes, but for good reason. To make everyone a better driver. The run down of the mistakes at the end explain exactly why he failed. However, some instructors are more harsh with marking mock tests to help improve the candidates learning.
Ah bless ya, I take it you failed your test 😂😂 it’s hard for a reason.
@@MyrishaEatsLife all over the world it costs 500pounds max here can take years its a business no other country are sitting and watcing videos about learn how to drive it comes with the years i have failed my first test now sekond upcomming i cant anymore i would have had a mecedes benz if not for all does 60 pounds for 2 hours of driving around and turning my head left and right like a mad man
@@fightclub50000 I’m going to say this in the nicest possible way, I’m pleased you’ve failed your test because if that’s your attitude when learning I’d hate to think what you’d be like as a full licence holder.
Very useful video,many thanks 😊
Driving in London honestly seems like a nightmare 😭
Damn I'd probably fail at the signal to over the bus part, these videos are helpful.
Always watch when you see bus dropping off passenger , slow down and keep looking if it’s pulling or signal right . I used to get it wrong .
I got my license today ,appreciate your videos man.I'll still be watching them x)
Congrats!!
He just passed before lockdown, congratulations!
👏🏽👏🏽I passed on the 12th October because of this channel and the other one called DGN driving school 👏🏽👏🏽
❤️❤️I’m doing my car reveal soon so stay tuned on my channel guys ❤️❤️
I’m 17 and passed first time with 2 minors 😇
Stay tuned 💖
Thank you bro
Congrats! And thank you
First fail is something I sometimes do, I always think for some reason when taking second exit I got to signal because I am hugging the side of the lane. I was repeating to my self "Second exit dont indicate, don't have to indicate" My practical is in two days and I would hate to fail on something I know
Not sure why using a car or van as a shield on a roundabout is a fault, someone explain??
He could have stalled when moving off, or, not gone quick enough. As a learner you have to wait.
Experienced drivers do use vans and other cars as shields, you see it all the time even if you're not supposed to. But for a new driver you're more likely to cause an accident doing it, his debrief does explain it well. I personally always wait if a van blocks my view, better safe then sorry.

I have a question. if the second exit of a roundabout is on the right (maybe around 2 Oclock), should we signal right or do we leave the signal as we are going straight ahead.
if the exit is past 12 o clock you signal right on approach and left as you go past the exit before yours x
Thanks a lot . Hoping to pass my driving test this coming Wednesday at Isleworth . Am very familiar with all the routes and big roundabout . My mistakes are just silly 😛 and to be focused and doing more observation around esp on the left am really terrible . That clip is very helpful and keep it up 👍
22:42 why did he signal left here when he was told to go cross the roundabout which is straight?
In this video you say that on a small roundabout, when turning right (third exit), we don't need to signal left to exit roundabout? You say it's unnecessary. But it's not forbidden, isn't it?
So why did you marked this as a driving fault ? He managed these roundabouts well and didn't bother or mislead anyone. Сould you please explain this.
He’s made up his own rules lol this isn’t a rule
dump
It’s advisory. It wasn’t a minor
Anyone who doesn't agree will be told to blow the horn while driving.😂
Another excellent video really like the explanations at the end covering the drive with the play back of errors. Really helping me understand how at some point I can actually past my test before I reach 90 ;)
Glad to help
Great video, as always! Thanks for sharing, Rohit!
I wanna ask. Is it a fail if your indicator goes off by accident while turning at a mini roundabout?
Not if you apply it back on asap
Thank you for your helpful videos :)
Good video
Yayyyy 23k 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 Huge congratulations. One day soon 100k 😍🤞

I wish i recorded my mock test with you😭 btw dont worry, when it comes to my test ill do another one and we can record it. I hate that my test got cancelled, it was on Thursday 5th😭
Eğitmen Türk gibi duruyor (önceki, videolar da maskesiz halinde)
congrats ✌
Don’t need a left signal when coming off mini roundabouts? Did I hear that right?
My instructor always tells me to indicate off any type of roundabout?
Mine too
he got a major for trying to overtake the vehicle without signaling i’m sorry confused? do you apply the signal when the vehicle has its lights on etc because i signal when over taking a bus ?
In this case, a right signal was necessary. Otherwise the bus driver would see you in his right-side mirror, assume with your lack of signal that you are holding back and he would then start moving out as was the case here.
If the bus has already signalled before you've fully committed to overtaking, you should stop your overtake.
WTF!? its not need for speed 9:05
Hi can u tell me us driving license can convert to Uk ????
I think you would still have to pass a test
Got my test today, sooo nervous! 😬
In the small roundabouts, when turning right(third exit), do i need to signal left once im past the second exit ? The video says unnecessary.
On mini roundabouts it’s not necessary. On big roundabouts it’s a must!!!
@@Dante20321 You say it's not necessary

@@tanukinaf lmao I didn’t mark it as a fault that was Drive London 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Dante20321 Sorry, my mistake. I will readdress this question. But maybe you can answer me as well?
@@tanukinaf don’t worry. Regarding your question, I have no clue. I believe Drive London explained it in the debrief at the end
I have my test in the Netherlands this Thursday
Is it the same rules driving there?
@@lookintothesky123 kinda. Biggest difference is that we drive on the right side of the road.
Also that we have to giveaway to the right (to cars, cyclists etc.) if there are no signs/roadmarkings to indicate otherwise.
Good Luck!
@@DriveLondon thanks!!!
I failed
