It's nice to see the differences between UK and US driving test standards. Over in UK we would check the blind spots: moving from parked, joining the Motorway, after an emergency stop and when reversing (this is more of a 360 observation throughout) and UTurns. Something I have noticed regarding checking blindspots (driver side) is you're taking your eyes from the front when travelling forwards, so a lot of the time we're checking the blindspot literally seconds before moving off as the final check, but if time has lapsed then we have to ''update'' the blindspot check. On the motorway, we wouldn't really check the blindspot when changing lanes and would instead lean forward whilst looking in our drivers side mirror which helps reveal the blindspot whilst remaining facing forward. Very interesting mate!
Can you please tell me the clear instructions for the bike lane? Some people say you shouldn’t enter the bike lane into you see dotted line but some bike lanes don’t have dotted lines
@@stacyreed6798 Don’t drive in bike lanes, but if you need to make a turn make sure you get close to the side you’re turning on check mirrors, blind spot, then turn.
@@jemsdiorlopez4627 yes you signal right when pulling over to park. The hazard lights is mainly so other drivers know that I stopped and about to park specially in New York people double park a lot
my teacher told me you don't have to check your blind spot when changing lanes because you taking your eyes off the road and its dangerous. Use only mirrors when changing lanes.
@@generator73 you still have to check your blind spot you look ahead first make sure you have a safe distance and then quick check before switching lanes. You can’t just switch lanes without checking. If someone is too close you won’t see them in your side mirror

I think when doing parallel parking, there's no need to activate the hazard signal. Instead, use the turn signal light.
