- Did I overpay when I bought every cable attachment that Rogue Fitness makes? As of posting this, these 6 items cost over $1,000 shipped. That's a ton of money for lat attachments that you could get for much cheaper elsewhere. In this video we cover every piece of equipment and also talk about some alternative choices to these if you can't quite convince yourself to pay this kind of money.
Ok technically I didn't buy the ones that are variations of themselves but I did everything unique that Rogue makes. They do offer other items from Spud Inc, Tsunami and others but this video focuses on Rogue Fitness and gives a quick look into some high quality but high prices geared. Ebay!!! Used!! You can't go wrong with ebay 's selection of used gym cable attachments. I have 67!! You can get good deals on used vintage weight plates, Cap rubber coated hex head dumbells. Tricep/ Bicep bars and handles, lat bars, fat grips, benches, Mannila indoor quality ropes, etc . If your on a budget,or just want something different you can't find, ebay has a good selection of used gym cable attachments .💪🏋️♂️
I bought 7 different MAG bars. One of the best investments I ever made. It is the Cadillac of bars. In my opinion.

You should check out the Rep D handles. They were only $50 and knurled. I don’t have a lot to compare to but the knurling seems similar to my midas revenge bar.
I have a mix of Rogue/Rep/Titan in my gym. I will say, generally the quality of the Rogue items are noticeably better than the others. Having most of their products made in the USA is also a big selling point for me.
For me as well. I think based on quality as a generalization the way you wrote it is right. There's exceptions and reasons not to pay as much but in general
Agreed. I switched from Rogue to Rep (Rack + Bench), but I still prefer Rogue accessories in most cases.

Another great video. Sold me on some of them when I was not considering. Great quality pieces but likely over priced. For the multi grip attachment elitefts makes a much better option, American Multi Grip for $120 plus shipping. Not as bulky or heavy, had the rogue or titan version before and sold it .

Cheers. Really want one of the single handle cable attachments. Out of stock for months. Got the Spud Inc. straps for everything else. Soft enough for most lifts, and if I need to, I can put on some dodgy fingerless gym gloves and look like the bad guy in Commando. Win-win.
Those things are always out of stock! But there are a ton of options out there as well

I recently bought a bunch of stuff from Rogue, including the lat pulldown bar, the tricep push down and the standard grip triangle.
FYI, the Monster Grip Triangle is the one that is part of the 3 Ships Free promotion.
Poop it is atm. I suppose it doesn't truly matter since they change things from time to time but thank you. Hope you like the attachments
I like how the Rogue SS Lat Bar has semi-rounded edges… My two Titan SS Lat Bars are razor sharp!
Yes! Same thing with some of Rogue's J cups. The little touches like rounding the damn pin just makes things look better and functionally better.
I have the lat bar, tricep strap and the single handles. I love them all!

My main gym is all rogue. But smaller accessory stuff I’ve bought some off brand stuff. I don’t like admitting it but I like the R logo lol

I only use 2 grips, the triangle one and the wide lat bar. I usually do rows with one and pulldowns with the other, then switch the grips the next day.
I seem to be slowly collecting more and more. Some redundancy but I suppose my situation is unique

Some of this stuff seems okay, most is unnecessary. I use cheap spongy grips and ropes bought off Amazon. I am a big fan of the spongy grip handles. To each there own.
Definitely not entirely necessary. You can get away with less (or lower quality) but there's something to say about something that's done well and having the options.

It's a nice bar but not on the same level. One of the things I really like about Rogue's is the rounded edges on the ends. It sounds dumb but those Titan ones are sharp! It's worth looking at both but I like Rogue's better overall even though it's attempting the same thing.
I'll give you that though a lot of that is out of their control. If we're talking multi grip cable I'd say the cost is way far off but that lat bar is awesome.
If you use them regularly, I don't think any equipment is "over paid for" but how often you use them or how regularly changes from person to person in their training regiment.
Very true though you could overpay if there's an equivalent or better option for the same or less. These are pretty good pieces though

They asked if I wanted to review it but I couldn't justify the cost for the channel. Looks great, I've seen it and played around a little and I'd love to support a small business but we'd be spending way too much for a video at this point.

I bought a TITAN Series rack a month ago and the packaging was perfect, all the laser cuts were clean and everything arrived together and on time. They haven’t shipped the multi grip pull-up bar yet but their customer service has contacted me weekly with updates. I have yet to buy a Rogue piece of equipment for my gym and as their prices keep going up, I’m kind of doubting I ever will. Especially since TITAN has said they’re moving more of their manufacturing here and have gotten rid of a lot of the series 1 stuff that everyone used to rag on
I'm glad your experience has been good but unfortunately that's not always the case. Someone just DMd me pics of that exact rack but Titan only sent them the uprights. They've definitely improved over the years but companies say a lot of things so I'll wait and see. That being said they can offer great values and good stuff!

Is it possible to use those rogue triangle grips, regular or monster version, on a barbell for t-bar rows or are they too thiccc for that?
Thanks for taking it for the team on this one, Rogue is a hard driver on price and unless you’re willing to reach deep, it can be hard to come up with the big wad of cash you’ll need for these toys.

They make basically that exact thing but specifically for the barbell
They do but I think he want to use it both ways especially at the price. I checked and it'll work but it's a bit wide since they flatten out the v so the bar can move left and right. I typically just use a deeper v bar and it sticks in there well.

Yeah same. I hate the ones that slide on the barbell sleeve. It’s ever so slightly off to me. I like the V bar parked behind the collar right on the bar itself and positioned so I can take it off and barehand the bar for some drop set fun.

None of the equipment we buy is really necessary. I'm a few months from 44 years old and my parents are 77 and 80, respectively. Since I was a teenager my dad would say "so, you pay to enter powerlifting competitions, you repeatedly pick up heavy stuff and do this almost every day?" Me: "yes sir". Dad: "this costs you lots of time and money; and, you do this for fun?" Me: "well, yes sir".
If it makes you happy and healthier you could definitely be doing worse things with your money

I wonder if the foam on the tricep attachment is the same between the leather and nylon. I had similar feelings when I got my leather version but after a couple years of use it has held up.

Have you tried Kaz handles? How would you compare them to the Rogue handle cable attachment?
Those are good. Haven't used them in a long time but I don't love the floating aspect of them, making sure they're turned the right way, and they could be a bit wider. That being said that's more nitpicking then really complaining because they are quality but I just like these better.
isnt the v-shape handle and the two single handles will work the same muscle? i think if i buy two of the single handle i would not need the v-shape handle right?

I love these things. I really thought when I ordered them for the video that I'd be let down but I'm happy to say I wasn't. A bit pricey but they're nice.

I own the Kaz handles and they are SIGNIFICANTLY SUPERIOR to all other attachments on the market.
I can say with confidence that I use my Kaz handles MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE in my home gym!
People shy away from them for the price, but it is an investment into your health, yourself, and your future well-being.
