Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. That is around 440HP at the crank, for the UK people. :) 277KW = 371HP, drivetrain losses are a little over 20% on these in manual form and around 25% in auto (AWD), 371 x 1.2 = 445HP. :)

Actually the formula will be 100/80 x 371, for an even better figure of 463HP at the crank 😉

By the way, question, are you guys still planning on painting super gramps?? Because I personally think the blue looks awesome with those wheels. Also, cannot wait to see the oil bible, thats gonna be an awesome episode, and I also cant wait to see what car moog has got his hands on! The anticipation is killing me lol!
What I love most about Mighty Car Mods is that they've met so much people, their names, recognition they deserve out there! Benny, Turbo Yoda, his coworkers and the actual shop they work for, the people out in Japan, all the other people I can't name off right now but they brought them out there with them and enjoy the glory of people they've never met but they know who they are, it's so awesome I wish I could be them haha. MCM FOREVER!

I love how the flooded gramps just gives them a whole new motivation to build something new, whereas most would sit around for awhile wondering what to do next.

Its pretty good, it quite simply is easy to understand
If you understand imperial measurements metric is easy as fuck to learn. There are lots of things that it is easier to use inches or feet or even fractional measurements but for most things metric just makes sense, hence why the developed world uses it.
Daven Baldwin If you want a quick conversion from kw to hp. its kw x 1.34. thats itkm/h to mph is km/h / 1.609, to go the opposite way its mph x 1.609

Turboyoda doesn't need a resume, the skills shown throughout these videos will open many opportunities! He does a fantastic job, all the welding, no short cuts, great fitment. Damn. I wonder what Moog has in store, I have a feeling Marty will have to upgrade his turbo in the near future. MCM likes challenges, how about fitting a twin turbo setup in that tribeca engine in the near future!?

bennydman666 In this episode they did mention bodywork is still to come. At 22:50, he says they'll add "faux-glass later when we fix up the rest of the bodywork". So not explicitly saying it'll get painted but if they're doing bodywork... it's likely. Especially since they paid for that paint already.

Last ep Moog was talking about a RB26 and now he's talking 2JZ... Im somewhat confused and very aroused.. I mean excited
for future coolant bleeding there is a device called an air lift, works with your air compressor and put the whole system under a vacuum and then you add the coolant via a bucket and the supplied line and it draws the whole lot through the engine. no air pockets and checks for leaks at same time.
Should be renamed from Gramps to Pops, as it's more of a "dad"-car now than a "grandpa"-car.
