Hiya, So I have impala’s with 58mm 82A so these will be ok to practice outdoor for now? I just want to actually be able to skate before I spend more money on wheels.
@@nicolebridgeman8578 My wife and daughter both run 82A which are good for both indoor and outdoor skating. We go to the rink regularly, and outside at different spots, and they like them wherever we go. In contrast, my 78a wheels plow through the most difficult outdoor terrain, but feel a bit too gummy at the rink.
@@LynnHarrodI just bought a pair of Impala skates which have 82A Wheels, I went to the rink yesterday and noticed that they were smoother than my roller derby wheels which are like 78 a, so I'm not surprised. But I still felt like I was sticking to the floor whenever I tried to turn. Granted, I'm intermediate and probably need to keep practicing, but there were two other people on the floor with those skates. One was very professional and the other was a beginner. The professional didn't seem to have a problem, but I did notice that he was smaller than me. I'm wondering if my weight is contributing to my difficulty with turning and transitioning... Any suggestions or advice?
@@s.kiaralarkins7037I've seen all body types rollerskate, it shouldn't change much, just learning how to distribute body weight is what important I guess,
I'm so glad I found your channel 😭 I'm trying to wean into learning how to skate, and you're helping me the most with what I need to know before I buy a pair. Thank you ❤️❤️
6 SECONDS?! Mine stop at 3! But if I loosen them up it doesn’t change anything and I can clearly hear them..I don’t know what to do..I have soft skates (87A if I remember correctly) with Rollerskates from Rio.
is it alright if my rollerskates dont spin for 6-7 seconds or more? they were a recent gift and pretty nice otherwise i dont wanna spend more money or ask anyone else for new skates or anything-
You probably just need to loosen the wheel a little more. Just make sure not to loosen them too much or else it'll shake around a lot. It's common for the nuts/bolts on newer skates to be a little tight.
90's = indoors and skate parks
80's = hybrid indoor/outdoor
70's = outdoor
60's = outdoor

Spend the money on Bones Swiss bearings. They are well worth the money.
Just bought my first pair of personal skates and the wheels spin for 3 seconds if that. Really needed this tip to start off the right way.
Twin! I've been watching all her videos to try to get myself together to skate this summer - when she said 6 seconds I guffawed

Is there a good happy medium that’ll work for both?
Yup! Luminous Wheels! 85a.

Hello! Why forever spinning in wheels is bad?
@@selfishbirch they are too loose.
My wheels don't spin to 6-7 seconds I've been adjusting it! And it still won't
I skate on concrete , Thank you,
what about 82A wheels?
What is the downside to wearing soft wheels in an indoor skating rink?
the floor will be slippy.😆
