if I may offer my nerdy opinion. lincs blank ID card, to me, shows the tragedy of his story. normal was always going to go down this path, its a family curse. Taylor would eventually be caught by the 'FBI' and meet lil Nicky, and scary was chosen by willy. but line had a happy home, a good, if a bit dependant, relationship with his dads, all the characters have this trauma, but lines specifically comes from this adventure, the one grant so desperately tried to keep him away from

This was so good! It actually did make me like and appretiate the OP so much more and gave me a new appreciation for season 2! Especially the biys about Link, I also thought he was boring and far too similar to Normal, But the tracking shot where he's looking at his friends is incredible. Link kindof being in the background as a laidback carer of his friends rather than just trying to get through the adventure and being impulsive sometimes.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH AND IT'S NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITE VIDS but one small thing i noticed was you said that Taylor had a keychain of himself, when it's a keychain of Midori Asakusa, an anime character. this is more obvious due to the hairstyle and skirt in the wip video posted before the more recent one, but still, the video was amazing and I was so emotional during it for some reason. :)
I agree with every single point here, when I watched the original I was crying by the end, because it summarized all two seasons so well, with a such inspiring feeling, and it's all true, the character arcs, the daddies', the sons', the teens', it really touches you, even if you don't know them or like them, seeing the passing of the torch is something really uplifting with good hopes for the future
the end of s2 hadnt even come out yet when the video was animated, but I really like the parallels between the end of the animation and the epilogue, especially with normal. both of them have everyone else standing together and normal eventually joining them, doubtfully but still with hope that it’ll be alright
