Hey Phil. This is one of my favorite videos. I know it’s a year old but I keep coming back 🤷♂️ I have a silver Malibu with similar issues coming in. Gets me excited 🤣 ✌️
I like the large amount of products you guys have and use at your disposal! I only have a small amount of products, but would absolutely love to acquire more over the future.
Nice job on those scratches! I just put out a video this morning using the Meguiars Iron Decon, that stuff works really great! Hope you guys had a good vacation.
WOW! Talk about a transformation from the scratches. Great work! Picture a French chef kissing his fingertips after completing a masterpiece dish. I take it the Turtle Wax Scratch Fix and Polish was not the choice to go with today? I just watched one of your older videos from 2019 where you featured that product on a black car, and it looks great! Especially a scratch on a black car that sticks out like a sore thumb. :)
Thanks so much! 👨🍳. I could have totally used the Tw scratch repair polish, I actually just forgot about it. But we make it work with also any compound or polish. 👍🏼
Poly-Seal is also excellent on trim or black plastic. Most all products of that sort are good/safe on trim and black plastics but to me Poly-Seal looks even better than the others on trim etc... Outstanding work as always Phil & Wife (Sorry didn’t catch her name before). I have got to get me some of the KXK sticks.
Great job Phil, I recently had the same situation with a deep scratch on my customers vehicle and I used the same process, wet sand,2500, 3000 grit and followed with micriofiber cutting pad and meguiars ultimate compound and followed it with sonax perfect finish. I would say the scratch improved by 90%. customer was thrilled and so was I
Thanks! Hey! I'm glad you commented! I think you missed this one! ua-cam.com/video/a4nJeNtsg0k/v-deo.html 28:00 Time Stamp It has a big surprise at the end!!
@@MirandaDetailing I just clicked on the link and I actually it was in about 8 or so minutes into this video. I must have been watching it when I came out and couldn't finish it. but I will finish watching it tonight. thanks for sharing. I watch all your videos :)
Amazing video. And nice work with the scratches. Mr. Miranda PLEASE help me I bought a Westinghouse 3600watt “quiet” generator but it is as loud as a commercial diesel big rig and I can’t use it in residential just way too loud. What is the model of your inverter I would like to buy it(not yours but same model) It’s perfect! Ty in advance if you see this.
nice work Phil & Jess. Do you have issues with standing water/gunk/debris around your wash area & garage? Does local water authority make you do something with the water/chemical run-off too?
Hi thank you! No we don't have any issues with local authorities because this is our own property which we have 10 acres of. Plus we are on agricultural rezoned property. I simply use a push broom and push all the soap water and dirt into our French drain that drains into the grass. When we are mobile it's a little bit more difficult to control the water and soap, but that's why we now only go to peoples homes instead of work areas and parking lots were local authorities can fine us if they so choose.
Phil... since I've started to use a pressure washer with spray gun, my asphalt driveway has stained from the soap. I tried unsuccessfully to clean w/an APR mix 50/50, but didn't do much. What do you use to keep your driveway looking fresh after all the washes you do on it. Thanks. And have been a subscriber for some time now. Your show is great, and demonstrates the average Joe (not you) and the real life detail issues we all run into.
Hi! We man sorry to her that. We put driveway isn’t really the best of show either. When we bought this place the pavement had issues that we need to address later. We bought a large push broom to sweep the soap and water away from the mouth of the garage. It does help to dry the area faster and not let chemicals dwell. You may want to try a dedicated driveway cleaner also. I’m no expert on power washing pavement or anything, but that’s worth a shot.
@@MirandaDetailing Thanks for your reply... yes, I think the key to this staining is not letting anything dry on the driveway, and do as you suggest... sweep it out before it does. the horse is out of the barn though, and wondering if anyone out there has a suggestion for some secret sauce to get rid of the stains there already.
I’ve tried 2 Xtreme Solutions products so far and I’ve been blown away by how good they’ve both been. Phil, have you tried Xtreme Suds by them? Amazing car wash soap that costs me less than 75 Canadian pennies per wash; even if we don’t take cost into consideration, it’s still probably the top 1 or 2 car wash soaps I’ve ever used. Good video btw
Awesome video and tutorial good friend. Totally agree with you on leaving as much clear as possible. Came out amazing. Jess needs a raise...lol.b well good friend
@@MirandaDetailing Wow! Long time. I'm setting my business up now. Trying to learn everything i can without going to a school. Anyway, much appreciated
Scratch removal so fun . First time we did it my son was with me he was about 16 .. once he seen everything turned white it was on a black vehicle I started acting like I messed the truck up and he started freaking out it was pretty funny
I love seeing these older vehicles that are still in good shape
Best channel in the game!
Wow. That is really good info to know. I had no idea those trees could stain or ruin car paint. I love this channel. 😀 Thanks Miranda!
Thanks!!😎👍🏼
Looks terrific
Beautiful turnaround on that jem! Scratches came out better than 90% Another excellent video phil. 👍
This is one of your best videos IMHO. Great information to help those that desire it. Way to go, fantastic job! 👍🏼👍🏼

My mother in law had this car . It seems like the silver is the most popular, especially down here in FL with the old folks. Great job

Hi thanks, yeah I wish people would be willing to be filmed for a reaction but I ask and nobody wants to do it. Shy I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
thanks for this video
Looks good
Great video! Really nice work on those scratches, and Xtreme Solutions for the win, both the polish and Polyseal really made that silver pop.
I love meguiar's iron decon D1801 !, I love its super fast bleeding, and it keeps a really good cleaning action!

Great video as usual. Awesome skills removing the scratches! How do you rate Yvans panel prep l think it's windex and acetone?
Hi. Thanks! Its a very strong solution! It works though. I use it mainly for wheels and tires to prep them before coatings and dressings.
Great job

How are you liking Xtremes Poly Seal? I put their Topper on and so far love it
Hi. It’s great stuff!! Very easy to use and great gloss and slickness.
How do you guys feel about griots stuff
Hi. It’s good. I have used the griots one step sealant and it was great.
What is your "rule of thumb" thickness when using a paint thickness gauge? Thanks
Hi. Anything below 4mils I won’t compound aggressively, just an enhancement polish or all in all polish.
Awesome video and tutorial good friend. Totally agree with you on leaving as much clear as possible. Came out amazing. Jess needs a raise...lol.b well good friend

What is your wife using to do wax around the window ( black trim) ?
There wasn’t a ton of trim. So she probably used Stoners Trim Shine.
