Just wanted to say a big thank you for the video! It was super helpful and easy to follow and enabled me to change the rear discs and pads on my Transit Custom today. Thanks again! 👍
@@igorchuchro4991 It took most of the day around 6 hours but we were also doing the pads on a mate's van at the same time. I reckon you could do it in an afternoon if you have done it before and have everything set out. Worth the time to me as a local garage quoted £350 and I picked up the parts locally for £85
An excellent detailed video mate. Good to know about the bearing clip. You’re my go to UA-camr for transit custom brake disc and pads replacement. Also thanks for the gearbox oil change video 👍
Hi, great video, my 2013 custom lwb need new discs and pads front and back, its booked in for 10 days time, had the van from new now done 91000, do you think whilst its stripped down it would be worth getting the bearing, abs sensor and the abs cocked wheel all done at the same time, just had 4 new glow plugs done Thanks
I was going to replace my bearings at the same time and was shocked how expensive they are so decided not to, just remember there is no way to cheak the sensor or bearings unless they are faulty so just remember if you ask the garage to specifically cheak them thay may replace it all wether it needs it or not so they don't get any comeback on them. Thank you for watching

How long did It take you ? I'm just thinking about doing it myself because if you'll consider travel time to the garage and all that ...

Just checking if it's the driver side caliper rewind direction is anticlockwise?
They are both clockwise, if one is anticlockwise it's normally the left side
Is this the same for a 2014 fwd transit?
Yes
Goood job❤

Coper on sliders, terrible idea 😮
Red rubber grease on sliders, copper slip on pad mateing surface
@ no copper should be used in brakes systems, ceramic yes but not copper.
@ukaszrugaa104 thank you for your input
