Luckily for you I maintain a fleet of 5 mk7 transits and I’ve welded almost all of them with arches to inner steps etc so next time one is due for some work I’ll do a video. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Hiya! I had this happen to me once! I used a magnet to fish the snapped part out ( may need to tap the side of the bolt with a screw driver to help release. Then if you don’t have another t50 find an Allen key that fits in. Make sure you smack it in a few times with a hammer! Good luck!
Cheers. Is had a fortune spent on it but all I ever do is a good pressure washing with some TFR and then some cans of Waxoyl spray aerosol and it’s the best way to keep those old vans good
Hiya. From memory it’s a T50. 110mm length. I bought a set made by US pro however go for the best quality you can afford as those bolts are damn right!
@@anthonyhudson4318 the bolt which olds the disc to the hub? Either use a bolt extractor, or hammer a 12 sided smaller socket over it with plenty of WD40 or similar. I’ve never experienced a hub nut rounding off. It sounds as if it’s all really badly corroded it may be easier to source a new assembly or just keep beating smaller sockets over the problem bolts
Pls make a video about rust and corrision fighting on the transits Mk7.

Your underbody looks nice and rustfree. Did you do a lot of work to it?

Can you do tutorial on rear brakes??
For discs and pads or just pads? I rarely need to do the discs / they’re a pain in the ass but pads are a walk in the park
I would like to know the length of the T50 tool, can you tell me?
