In our latest video, Pilates Exercises for Neck and Shoulder Pain, we focus on this important part of the upper body and provide you with exercises to find pain relief and ease of movement.
Aren't you tired of feeling tight and sore in your neck and shoulders? I know I am! This is a key area of discomfort for me too. Maybe you've already tried massage or chiropractic care, or realized that your sleeping position may be contributing to your pain. The neck and shoulder stretches and exercises in this video will guide you through gentle movements that may help you pinpoint the main causes of tightness in your body.
Hopefully, with some minor adjustments in positioning, alignment and technique, you'll be able to find relief from your neck and shoulder pain and move with more ease! These Pilates exercises will help by stretching the tight and overactive muscles and strengthening the weak areas as well. I hope you enjoy!

Hi! So glad you enjoyed this! Great question.... I recommend a roller that is approximately 36" long and 6" in diameter (this length is much more versatile for multiple different exercises/movements). I also recommend a roller that is not extra firm, so it should have a little softness to it. Hope that helps!
Hi Cailin. I was diagnosed with Cervical Spondylosis. Will your workouts heal me?
