- The San Francisco Municipal Railway (SF Muni or Muni) is the public transit system for the city and county of San Francisco, California.
In 2006, Muni served 46.7 square miles (121 km2) with an operating budget of about $700 million. In ridership terms, Muni is the seventh largest transit system in the United States, with 210,848,310 rides in 2006 and the second largest in California behind Metro in Los Angeles.
With a fleet average speed of 8.1 mph (13.0 km/h), it is the slowest major urban transit system in America and one of the most expensive to operate, costing $19.21 per mile per bus and $24.37 per mile per train.[4] However, it has more boardings per mile and more vehicles in operation than similar transit agencies.
Muni is an integral part of public transit in the city of San Francisco, operating 365 days a year and connecting with regional transportation services, such as Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Caltrain, SamTrans, Golden Gate Transit, and AC Transit. Its network consists of 54 bus lines, 17 trolley bus lines, 7 light rail lines that operate above ground and in the city's lone subway tube (called Muni Metro), 3 cable car lines, and 2 heritage streetcar lines, the E Embarcadero and F Market. Many weekday riders are commuters, as the daytime weekday population in San Francisco exceeds its normal residential population. Muni shares four metro stations with BART.

Ok BusTV! No doubt that your not from here, and I am, as I have seen throughout the years of the dumbest ideas that MUNI did, one of them is hiring one driver that cause the accident at the Transbay Terminal and killing 5 persons, and MUNI hiring him on my bus route coming home from work as I complaint to Muni nothing was done because they knew who he was. That driver is gone now this was in the mid 1990's, and not to mentioned those Half a million dollar Breda models in which took years to redo the tracks due to their extreme WEIGHT. And also buying the wrong style buses like your precious Neoplan buss that has the kneeling feature and these Fricking drivers that has a brain of a Peanut cannot lower the bus for Seniors that have a problem in climbing up those stairs. And those Neoplan buses DO NOT HAVE THE Clearance for wheelchairs, and when was the last time that Muni driver help a person making sure that they are secured NEVER, it is against Union rules. All the other transits companies do so not Muni. That is a violation on the disable rights act. The only buses that were MUNI where the GM Fishbowl design models, those were buses. Now the New Flyers are like the GM's and as for the streetcars the only ones were the PCC's, and their on still carrying passengers still for 71 years, these Breda cars scrapped no parts, why are we getting new cars, because they have parts.. And as for tagging, have not seen a bs, streetcar or bus shelter with the words Screw you? Or worst, and it cost us to have them remove them, get a life man, and for MUNI, it is 106 years old, it is the only transit we got.
And last shoot your videos, but shoot that has MUNI problems, and address them to the proper departments like the PUC and MUNI...

In what I am seeing is Boring, Ok I take MUNI everyday, as they are going downhill As allowing people NOT paying anything, Where are the transit cops? And you watch MUNi fares will go up by 2019. Why because the staff just do not give a rat ass today. But we have them and have o use them.
Be grateful you have a decent transit system to use. Some people have it worse. One of the last cities to operate Neoplan buses in the USA
