It's a shame we are too busy doubling our population here in Springfield with 3rd world immigration to focus on revitalization like these other Ohio cities.

@richardsmith5394 Maybe that will change in the near future?

At the rate Columbus is expanding west along the Interstate and US 40, corridor we could become a bedroom community, in which case jobs and money would flow in along with people.

@@richardsmith5394 Are you referring to people from Springfield?

@@LivinginCincinnatiOhio You are not aware of the mass immigration of approximately 20,000 Haitians into Springfield and the fallout from it? Failed Democrat (non)-policies on immigration have nearly destroyed this city and exposed some pretty rampant corruption on an official level as well. For awhile there we had armed Preppers, the Nazi party and some skinheads all parading downtown. This is not what I believe America should be about. It's quieted down a bit as I suspect, based on a recent post on line that they may quietly be moving down your way however. Not to hate these people after all, we have ruined their country with various coup-de-etat, interference by NGO,s and other intrusions on their sovereignty. But relocating a population nearly as great as the host city is nothing more than an invasion. I personally hope things get sorted out, I'm too old to put up with this crap.
