Not all of my finds out there on the backroads are spectacular at first look and a lot of the time there is very little left. Some of my favorite finds are these places though. I enjoy finding these really hidden almost unknown sites that very few people have been to. Besides the history and the fascinating location look at the view out there. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Love it!
Great find Wade! I love seeing these old abandoned places. There’s something so mysterious and thought provoking as you picture the people that occupied these places.
Thanks! Yes abandoned buildings and locations are so fascinating especially when you can find some history attached. Walking where people from days long gone used to also walk and live. There is just something about that for me.
Amazing! Always love coming upon places like these...great to imagine how these original homesteaders lived. Bet you really did surprise the gentleman. Take good care now...Bruce and Otis
Yes it is always fascinating to find these places. A place where there used to be a community. So much history could be told but most was lost with the people. Take care!
How amazing - the hamlet only lasted for 50 years!! It’s great what you’re doing documenting these places Wade👍👍👏👏👏 The Church / School is a very evocative place
Awesome find Wade. Ghost towns are fascinating. There might not be much left of these buildings in 10 years time. Loved coming along on another of your adventures 👍🏽🤗🙏🏽❤ Have a great weekend.
Great find Wade, the landscape reminded me of parts of Ireland. Lovely weather that day, the wee breeze in the grass was super nice. I crave that kind of peace and quiet. Great job. 👍🍀😎
Wow Really Amazing The Backroads | Exploring a Ghost Town From 1908 This Your Video That's Great! Thanks for sharing with us! Keep it up Good Job!😍😍😍😍😍
Beautiful location. I often ponder why no one attempts to revitalize some of these lost towns. With cities becoming so crowded this is a breath of fresh air.
These places are usually my favorite too. The lesser known just feels more special to explore. Some would overlook a place like this to go to that place that everyone has been to and is popular. You will see me going to these places as my first choice every time.
You found a very interesting place in the middle of nowhere again. Not many buildings left, but still a great place to explore. It really is a pity that many historic places are not taken care of and are only left for decay. Nice video presentation again, Wade.🤘👌
I enjoy finding these locations. Finding some structures left is always a bonus. At least with this location the land was donated and is now a nature conservancy so the area will be protected long after the buildings are gone.
A great ghost town find off the beaten track👌. It almost looks like time froze there and forgot about the place. It is a shame though that these places are not restored nor maintained for future generations to enjoy and for heritage value. Don't worry it is the same here in Australia and there are so many hamlets like these left in disrepute. Only a hand full are maintained or restored, and usually held by private parties, not government bodies. Great video, Wade. Loved it!
It is for sure off the beaten track haha. It would be nice but I also recognize there are too many to all be saved. I am just happy to visit these places where they still somewhat exist and can be remembered through my footage.
Fascinating location, good to hear the info from the local farmer and I agree it's great to document these places. Great video thanks for sharing and have a great week cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍
Do keep up the interesting and adventurous Travel and Vlogging work you've been doing over there, take good care too! Have a blessed day, stay safe and stay connected~
Great back road discovery. Another piece of History. Good you got to talk to farmer there. Bet you washed your car when you got out. well done as usual , music suited.
Even though little remains here, still an interesting site to explore with you! There must once have been more houses here of inhabitants, that disappeared somewhere in the last 65 years.
Thanks! Just traveling the roads and coming upon them sometimes and others lots of research or looking on google maps for any potential places. It can take a bit of work but it is fun especially when you find something.
It’s crazy how fast a town can be destroyed once trains stop coming! Doesn’t look like these buildings held up too well from weather over the years. But nice to see it’s not covered in graffiti or noticeable vandalism!
So many towns like this all over western Canada. Once the railway went away and populations dwindled in the rural areas they slowly fade away. The land is now part of a nature conservancy so hopefully people will respect it and leave it as it is. Take care!
@@ExploringwithWade There are quite a few towns around me I want to make some videos about some day. They’re unfortunately extremely vandalized, but they still have the old newspapers and flyers and I think that’s so cool! Have a good weekend!!
I wonder what happened to the land ownership after people abandoned it. Cause if they keep it private, they'll have to pay tax. If it's sold to other people, it'll probably be demolished and used for something else.

Just magical. New subscriber from Greece. Wade's choice of cinematography, narration and music helps me transcend the distance.
Thanks very much appreciate it! Have a great day!

love your backroad vids, it is so cool to see the older structures and history around them.
Glad you like them! I have fun going out there and searching for places like this and finding anything is a bonus.
What a peacefull and beautiful spot ,music was nice
There's a link to the music in the description if you didn't notice i particularly like the first track Will Harrison is the musician
It was a very peaceful spot out there!
Beautiful location. I often ponder why no one attempts to revitalize some of these lost towns. With cities becoming so crowded this is a breath of fresh air.
Cost would be so great and long distances to services. This one for example, now sits in a nature conservancy at least so the land is protected.
Nice video and a nice location! I admire the farmer that was living there.
Yes it is a beautiful area. Love these places that are out there with not many people around. Peaceful.
Hello my dear friend 🌹 so beautiful and amazing video great place thanks for sharing all ready connected ☺️ stay safe always ☺️
Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful day!
What a beautiful and quiet places! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for visiting! It was a great day out there! Very relaxing.
Middle of nowhere and not known by the mainstream- This is my favorite! Beautiful site!

Driving around looking for sites is a lot of fun👍
Thanks Wade✌
It sure is! I love the hunt for these places. Take care!
Being a large and not so densely populated country, canada must have loads of places hidden away like this. Great Video.
Yes, there are lots of places similar to this scattered all over. A lot of the time, not much remains. Thanks!

Great job Wade! History is not only disappearing it is being rewritten to be something it never was...
Thanks! I enjoy documenting as many of these places as I can. One day you might not be able to find any of this history and it will be lost forever.
Your comment made me curious. How do you feel history is being rewritten? I'm honestly interested in your views.
Great back road discovery. Another piece of History. Good you got to talk to farmer there. Bet you washed your car when you got out. well done as usual , music suited.
Thanks 👍It was nice to have a little chat with the farmer from the area. Fun exploring out there for these places.
High quality content! Where is 1m sub's? Great video! Best wishes!
Wow, thank you! Take care!
Beautiful countryside. I wish you had brought along some ghost hunting equipment to see if any ghosts are still hanging around! Nice video.
Yes it was a gorgeous day out in the country. I don't have any special equipment for that but maybe I will give it a try sometime.
Sad silence from places that have long passed into history beautiful .
Oh yeah, we enjoyed! 🤘
Glad to hear it!
Relaxing place, best wishes!

Thanks for explanation about the history
My pleasure! Take care!
Great find! How are you finding all these gems? I'd love to try find some of these ghost towns in my area. Great job as always!
Thanks! Just traveling the roads and coming upon them sometimes and others lots of research or looking on google maps for any potential places. It can take a bit of work but it is fun especially when you find something.
@@ExploringwithWade appreciate all your hard work.
Fascinating place and well done for finding it. It’s possible that your footage could be the last day is of that place 🤷♂️
Yes it was a tricky one to find and get to. I know of some people that have a few photos but there isn't much out there that I saw.
Wow this is so cool and interesting.
Thank you! Cheers!
*Yes, that town is on the verge of being just a memory. When Industry comes/goes cities and towns appear and disappear. Another casualty.*
Yes times are always changing but I do what I can to document some of these places before no one even knows anything was there.
Cool remains of the ghost town
I always enjoy the hunt and finding places like this even if not too much is left. Take care!
cool as 👍
It was a great day and a great find.
Things in the house no longer look pretty, but it was interesting to get there and explore anyway.
Yes there is not much left at all but the fact there is something is good enough for me.
It’s crazy how fast a town can be destroyed once trains stop coming! Doesn’t look like these buildings held up too well from weather over the years. But nice to see it’s not covered in graffiti or noticeable vandalism!

More geographical info is needed in description and video - country, state, province, etc.
Some places I don't feel the need to be too specific but it is in Alberta.
Nice video, yeah just the Province is enough information for most people.
I wonder what happened to the land ownership after people abandoned it. Cause if they keep it private, they'll have to pay tax. If it's sold to other people, it'll probably be demolished and used for something else.
This land was donated to the province and is now protected as a nature conservancy. It will stay as is.
This could be very peaceful place to live with animals. Life must be hard so they left.
It was extremely quiet and peaceful out there! Times changed over the years and yes life would have been tough just to survive.
If i hit the lottery I'm gonna do stuff like this. I'm not going to Disneyland no offense. I'm gonna love to do this. GOD BLESS THE WHOLE WORLD.
You don't need to win the lottery to do it just get out there and start exploring. It is a great way to pass the time. Take care!
Why are you afraid of offending someone? No matter what you say someone will be offended.
Wow Ghost Skin
😀👍
Your Uploaded video gives a good time.
Relieve the stress of the day on Ukrainia Europe channels.
