I love exploring these forgotten places and the history associated with them. One day there will be no remnants of what was once here so that is what drives me to document it and to keep the memory alive. Have a great day everyone and Thanks!
My mom grew up on a farm east of Bulwark, our grandparents are buried at the cemetery, we have been visiting there for 40 years, I remember going there to clean around the Graves as a young boy. Thank you for posting Wade
This is incredible, Wade. Who needs to watch Discovery channel when you make content like this. I love this sort of exploring, great upload my friend 👍
Wow, thanks that is nice of you to say. That is all I hope for is that people like what I am creating and can appreciate some of the same things and the history that I do. Love exploring and finding new things. Thank you very much!
I went and visited Bulwark this weekend, as its only an hour from me. Was a great way to spend an afternoon. So much history there, and good to see before it gets taken back by nature or destroyed by vandals. Thanks for the fantastic video.
Well, that was sure a fun explore. Amazing to think a whole town would end up abandoned in relatively recent times. I love all the weathered old wood. Thanks for the tour Wade! 👍 ~ Kristine N Xander 🐾
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes so many towns around in the prairies from the early 1900's that are no longer around. Crazy how much can change in just 100 years or so. Thank you and have a great weekend! 😀
An amazing abandoned ghost town Wade. Thorough enjoyed this video and looking at these dilapidated buildings as old relics. A great episode 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I’m glad you took a buddy along I would not have the courage to venture there on my own.
Thanks for watching! It is always interesting and mysterious to walk around a location like this. I do go alone many times on my explores but it is nice to have someone else with when possible. Have a great week!
Very cool, love all the camerawork in your videos, weird this place doesn't really look all that old, seen a lot of places a lot newer that have ended up a lost worse :D
Thanks guys appreciate it! Yea haha I have seen a lot worse too. In this section of the town which is all that is remaining there was someone still living here until the late 1980's or early 1990's is what I was told. Have a great week! 👍
Excellent exploration video of this rather sombre place. Quite fascinating to see what people have left behind and strange to think that the closing of a rail line would kill a place like this! Thanks for sharing!
Yes it is a very lonely feeling and quiet place. The closing of the rail line would have just been the final nail I think. In those days the rail line was so important. The only reason some of these little towns existed was because of it. Alberta is a vast open area and you would be cut off from everything without it. Have a great weekend. 😀👍
Very good explore Wade. Watched til the end.👍 The 1940`s Ford pick up is my dream hotrod , that one is totally fixable too. Surprised it`s still there really, pretty rare nowaday`s. Love the bullet riddled Plymouth aswell, very cool car. I would leave the bullet holes in it ,if I was fixing her up. Great quality upload bud.👍🍀
Thank you very much! Yes some of those vehicles would be nice to have and restore. Too bad they couldn't have been saved! I appreciate you stopping by! 😀👍
Thanks 👍 There are lots of remnants of small towns that died off all over around here. Am thinking of checking out more of these ghost towns in the future. Have a great weekend.
Glad you enjoyed it! I love finding these places with so much history before they are totally gone and forgotten. I did speak to a relative of the family that still owns some of this land. Very thankful to check it out. Have a great weekend. 👍
This place is awesome, Wade. I so much enjoyed how you captured it on video and led us through this forgotten town. The lighting conditions have been perfect. I am surprised how much is left of these wooden buildings and I loved the old rusty Plymouth Fury. The other old car wrecks and the old oven are pretty cool, too. I love such old things. Thanks for sharing this great adventure, my friend.👏👍
Yes it was a great place to explore. Was glad there was this little section still left. There is nothing left remaining of the rest. Mostly just fields now. Thanks for watching! 😀
Another great History Story. well videoed and sound is right on. Some nice old car bodies ,if the right person had them they could restore a lot of them. it would be nice to have one restored. sounds like it was a busy Town back in it's day. Drone was nice good overview of town. I will check your friends site out.
I always like learning about the history. Too bad some of the cars couldn't have been saved years ago. It doesn't look like much now but was a pretty good size town. Crazy how quickly places can disappear. Thanks!
It is great to see these old place. Awesome that you are documenting their existence before they are all gone. It is amazing all the things that are left behind when they leave. You'd think they would take their belongings with them. Take care and have a great day, Wade.
It would be so cool just to jump back in time to have a conversation with some of the original settlers...just to learn of their hopes and dreams and the ultimate reasons for leaving it all behind...great area for lots of exploring...thanks for sharing...
Oh yes it would be amazing to be able to go back when the town was still alive and busy. The stories would be incredible. Thank you as always for watching!
When you look at theses places it is a reminder that others had a life here. It was much harder than ours today. It was rough, but a healthier way of life and for sure a better one. The good old days have a lot that we can learn from today.
Yes it is a lonely quiet place now for sure. It is always surprising to see how much can still be left and wasn't salvaged years ago. Pretty sad actually.
The copper wiring was ripped out of the place was a sign someone needed even a small amount of cash, so who ever demolished and busted holes in the dry wall seemed about the same age of the bullet holes in the cars yet someone was living in the basement after the destruction took place and who created the rope was the one hiding out there and most likely was in prison at one time and knew how to make the rope and planned on staying a while. The shed with the door being blown by the wind you should have investigated that shed, that door moving that easy was a good indication that it was being used recently. Wade you record a nice video thank you I love a good mystery.
This place was very interesting to visit and had an eerie atmosphere to it for sure. Possible squatters were using it at one point. Thanks for watching!
O wow this is the jackpot. We would love to find a ghost town. I don't think there are any in Ireland? I may be wrong. I will Google that tomorrow morning
I always find these places interesting. So many stories could be told. I am sure there are some there. Once you start looking you realize there is more out there than you thought. Take care!
This is my grandfather's place! Been abandoned since the early 90s when gramps got sick and passed in Coronation. I've been thinking of restoring that car possibly. We go up there occasionally to have a poke around, especially since the AB government tried to forcefully take the land. Hence why there's a giant mound of dirt on the property. They tried to bulldoze it. That old trailer in the beginning, camper thing, was used as a chicken coop. 🥹 Man. I can tell you some stories about the place. Lol
The basement had a lot of jars of food and preserves. Last time I was there, a barn owl flew out from under there. The house itself, teens from settler and area were using it as a party den for a bit. Now just houses birds and such. If you want to go in the house, please step on the main beams. The floor is SUPER spongy and rotted. And for a shout out to the urbex community, take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints! 😍

Awesome documentary Wade. Your right about one day it will all be gone. Except your documentary. Thank you for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Glad you enjoyed! I had a fun afternoon walking around and seeing what was left. I love the history with these places also. Thank you!

Great video Wade! It's so strange that so much stuff was left behind by the former residents! Take care and have a wonderful weekend 😁!
That happens quite often when stuff is left behind but does make you wonder why it couldn't have been salvaged. Take care!
Amazing video as well as all your other videos! Lots of information, beautiful scenery and I find your vids weirdly very calming.
