Hello. Please take a look at this list: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/registry/... - Навчання та стиль
Now these hoover juniors were truly the best ever vacuum cleaner they never failed to work, though they were very simple hoovers the did as it stated, it beats as it sweeps as it cleans, loved that one, even the tools worked well on these machines, they had good suction.
I love them, sooooo retro and still dona good job.
Great job .... Well done love the modern twist of the led and with the bag improvements makes an otherwise old machine ideal for modern use.
+Stephen Wynn Thank you, it certainly does. The LED light is nice and bright and the multi layer SEBO bags improve airflow and then also prevent dust escape keeping the vac in better condition.
The U1206 is my favourite of the flat belt juniors - both in appearance & performance. Another good restoration job Dorian! :-) :-)
i must admit i dont like those juniors after they stopped making the front load hose type...i like the belt lifting convertor and the 119 style..
builder si67 Me too!!!! The agitation is much better on the old ones too. And because you connect the hose directly to the fan the suction was a bit better.
Very nice vacuum. When your other one went wrong I had the same problem. This was with an earlier junior (mustard colour) U1012. I took a motor out of another junior which worked and put it in the mustard one but I removed the suppressor. It then sounded like your other dirtsearcher. I'm wondering if the suppressor on a junior has anything to do with making the motor work??
+dyson37 I’m not sure, those early vacs and the suppressors are a big pain! In some other vacs they just snip our easy and no issues, but some of these juniors are a complete nightmare. Some are an integral part of the electrics and later ones they can just pop out. The 1st one I’ve sent to Dr Sam Watson and he’s also having issues with it. But hopefully will get it up and running with a new motor. His issues are with the carbon brush cases.
Can you use hot water in the bag for some heat or hot water in a bowl and drop the bag in the bowl?
+craigsclocks Hi, no unfortunately, you can however use a hairdryer on the plastic bag to warm it up and then leave outside and every hour repeat the process, it's like when the bleach your hair, they wrap it up in plastic bag and use a hairdryer to speed the bleaching process. It's still the suns UV light that ms the best, so after warming up still leave it in the sun or bright daylight, will just take a lot longer for it to work.
HooverLux Got it. One day I will have a Hoover JR. I have been looking but with no luck. Thanks for another great video.
