Exactly. I don't understand why these people think it's okay to ignore this law. I guess it's just because we've let them take advantage of us for so long that they feel entitled to it. What don't understand is how done People are with it. Me personally, I think we should have been strict on this from day one. We have a huge mess that we will have to clean up and many aren't leaving without a fight, but that's a fight and money I'm willing to sacrifice, I'm tired of this.
Trump's deportation vow alarms Texas construction industry NOVEMBER 23, 20245:01 AM ET By Julian Aguilar Clear signals President-elect Donald Trump plans to make good on his campaign pledge to deport millions of undocumented immigrants in his second term has sparked concerns among some in Texas' business and economic sectors who say mass deportations could upend some of the state's major industries that rely on undocumented labor, chief among them the booming construction industry. "It would devastate our industry, we wouldn't finish our highways, we wouldn't finish our schools," said Stan Marek, CEO of Marek, a Houston-based commercial and residential construction giant. "Housing would disappear. I think they'd lose half their labor."

No, the first solution to illegal immigration is get rid of amnesty. Second, pass the law that any child is the nationality of the mother at birth. Thirdly, a family cannot sponsor another family member.
Trump should be punished for his felonies too (he could have them dismissed but as of now he's a convicted felon by the verdict of the jury). Then, the illegal immigration rules can be enforced. Hypocrisy isn't allowed, and law goes both ways.

@@HBrown-pu2hb I’m not history buff or anything, but the economic might of this country was built on extreme form of cheap migrant labor, expansion, and exploitation of lands from the original inhabitants of North America.
Honest question…..hypothetically, if I’m a resident in a state that is fighting ICE, and a member of my family is a victim of a crime that is committed by an illegal immigrant, would I be able to sue the Government of my state for negligence and more?
"Law" was suppose to be on the side of all legal, law abiding citizens. "Law" was suppose to secure the border, protect against invasion, protect against illegal activities and so on and so on. This Admin. used the "Law" as a substitute for toilet paper. Moving forward, maybe the law will once again have meaning, purpose and responsibility to legal citizens.

What will the legal residents feel when illegals flee from complying states to resisting states in large numbers? Suppose the number of illegals doubles in California, Illinois, and New York over the course of 1 or 2 years when they already run deficits each year. Sanctuary policies will be ended by sanctuary state voters.

I really dislike how there are such swings in the pendulum from an immigration free for all to trying to shut everything down. There has to be a legal middle ground pathway that closes loopholes and makes it regulated. There has to be a system like H1B visa for computer programmers but for day laborers instead.
