The reality is the american economy needs cheap labor. These people aren't taking advantage of anything, they economy is using them. America homeless aren't considered workforce. America feeds immigrants because they take back from them once they're working. Big meat companies pay millions to process immigration cases, because they need labor. Any decisions make on immigration will surely have economical consequences.

I’m an immigrant and a proud US citizen. It took ten years process, including multiple interviews and background checks. Now I have a baby boy who is born in this great nation with privilege of freedom. Beside sharing my journey with him, as a mother, it’s important to be a good example to my son that his mom’s with good character did the right thing from very beginning. As an immigrant, before we ask what this country can provide to us, ask what we can contribute to this country. American dream is not something given, it has to be earned.

I'm nervous about the public rage that has been directed at illegals, but I have to say he seems professional which is reassuring. He has seen some bad things I can tell. I don't believe they are the cause of all American ills (and even often contribute) but I do think an oz of prevention is worth a pound of cure so he's right. . .no downside to a strong border. I wish him luck. And most of all, I hope Congress finally acts now that (R)'s ahve full control. This can't all be on the President.

As someone who went through the process legally, it is a slap in the face for the hundreds of thousands waiting to do it legally.
I’m Bringing my wife from the Dominican Republic. We’re currently in the process for our Spousal visa. We’re doing everything the proper way. Right now we’re looking at 2-3 years for me to be able to bring her here. And she’s not even able to visit.
@@doughilton80262-3 yrs isn't that long of time to make that big of a move. It gives you time to settle in and get everything setup for when she gets here. Anyways you can go visit her on your vacation time at least once a year to 3 or 4 times a year.

OK. Constitution is silent on immigration and fed government does not have all the power to remove noncitizens from the country. Courts allowed the federal government to exercise this power through legal standings like Commerce Clause, the Naturalization Clause, and the Necessary and Proper Clause.

And as far as workers, we have an absolute massive amount of businesses who've either been hiring illegals under the table, or had a pre-agreement they'd not advertise to the public in order to be able to be half-wages to a mass amount of newcomers, while taxpayers supplement the difference, like in the case of Springfield. "Diversity Staffing" agencies. Both of these have directly undercut union workers and american citizens for employment. And further, the employers aren't even required to keep the same proper working conditions. So just super cheap for them, and half the time the newcomers are just wiring all the money back to their home country. (Yet still driving 100k+ SUVs en masse, as well, somehow)

Last year Univision made an investigation of how the caravans get organized.
They found out that there are a couple of guys involved one in Mexico and one in the US that lives in Texas .

One thing Mr. Holman did not touch on is the money that taxpayers are spending for housing, food stamps, and medical expenses. I have a friend that is a social worker and when they call in to get food stamps they don't speak English so they have to call a translator line and the money that we spend on translators and everything else that we do to bend over backwards to protect outlaws is insane we are rewarding people for breaking the law
He did mention it from minute 14.20; He didn't say an exact number but he did touch on the whole process. The viewer can understand the cost of accommodation, a flight to the desired destination, three meals a day, medical treatments and more.
We spend a lot of money on their medical care too… but the American people have to fight to get their care.

Very surprised at how good this Cuomo interview is. Yes, we will lose illegal immigrant workers. US citizens will fill those positions, but employers will have to pay associated taxes and legal wages.
Caesar Chavez, the creator of United Farm Workers in the 70's, was against illegal immigration because he knew they were being used as slave labor by greedy Americans that wanted to get out of paying decent wages. Nothing has changed.
