- Check out the FAQ on my front page for video details. Remake of my original Star Wars Lego Jedi vs Sith video. Shot on Logitech Quickcam 9000 cameras. Special Effects created in FXHome's VisionLab Studio, edited in Sony Vegas. Backgrounds created in Vue 6 Easel
i like how the face of the jedi remains a happy one
he keeps smiling even when he saw the sith
Can't believe this just hit 10 years old. Man time flies by.
I remember watching this many years ago, and this was one of my favourite Lego Star Wars stop motions. Too bad that the other parts are blocked because of copyright :( Anyways, you should keep making more Lego Star Wars stop motions, I would love to see more! :)
Woah...the best old animations always amaze me
Harrambou I think so too!!
Thank you very much!
The Plot: Luke has turned to the dark side, has gone bald, and has traveled back in time to fight Anakin as a Padawan.
LOL
A Luke with no hair?
Yup.
+Ladondorf lol weird
Ok now this is getting scary, ;(
That's a good question. If you listen carefully though you can hear a saber ignite off camera. Good question though.! Thanks for watching
This keeps reminding me of Star Wars episode 7 this is amazing!!!!!!!
Brilliant film :D It rocks, funny how the jedi keeps smiling all the time, even when he loses his arm and saber:P
Dude loved your video man. Great sound affects and awesome work.
1:56 'I lost my hand :)'
great vid 5/5
This has to be one of the best lightsaber duels I have ever seen in a lego video! Awesome!
Wow... I am amazed. There is not only the best Lego figure lightsaber dueling in this video but also better animation than in any other Lego Star Wars video in UA-cam that I have seen. THAT is how animation done with Lego figures should look like, people! More videos like this, please.
My uncle made this wow 500k views
Omg, that rocks
Wait, actually?
This guy is a MOVIE MASTER
i was looking up animation programs and found this, it's the coolest thing i've seen in ages. can't wait for the sequel
this is the best ever movie so fast i have seen so far in youtube never seen better
Whoa, man, that stopmotion animation work is really AWESOME!!! That surely took lots of hours to be done, but one can really appreciate a superb job in this video! By the way, I saw the previous video of Jedi vs Sith, and although it's a fact that this video is way better done than that first one, I liked it too, and it was a very good way of beginning with stopmotion animation jobs; it was a nice job, too! I'll give this awesome video five stars, and I'll favorite it!!! Congratulations!!! =D
AWESOME!!! I like how fast the fighting is and how they twirl around and stuff. :)
Unbelieveable stop-motion. Most LEGO animators only make them move their legs and fight.
The force is strong in this one
lmao @ the bit where he looks at his missing hand then walks off XD great video. :)
BRILLIANT VIDEO I searched for "Lego star wars movies" and that's the sort of thing I was looking for AWSOME VIDEO
Fast action, smooth movements, cool effects en cool sound. Amazing!
dude this was very good especially when they started fighting i loved it make more of these
I love this old stop motion videos!!
best lightsaber duel i've ever seen you should be proud!
This is really good on it's own and it's especially great progress since your first version!
Best Lego Starwars Duel iv'e EVER SEEN!
MOST AWESOME STAR WARS EPISODE IVE EVER SEEN...NICE JOB
AngryChair makes some of the best StarWars Duel videos I've ever seen. The best lightsaber video was probably Lego The Force Unleashed by Fancypants. But still, this guy is a close second.
Thanks a lot mate. Glad you liked it. Part 3 goes into production in a couple of months
I got loads of the FX from theforce.net website. Yes they have to be placed in individually. I used three tracks for the fx, two for the sabers and the other for the clashes
Awesome, I love the fast paced battle... It's a lot better than the earlier one that I saw.
5/5
One of the best I've seen in SO long. :D
Thank you..! The final part will hopefully be ready in about 5-6 weeks. Stay tuned..!
Cool glad you liked it. I really wanted this to be as fast as the ep 3 fighting style. Thanks for watching
That jedi is either badass or crazy...smiling all the time:DD
Your welcome. P.s We liked this vid so much, we faved it and sent it to at least 8 people and just about everyone of them faved it! keep the great animation coming!!!!
The fight has so much action. It looks so profesional
lol great work on the animation. kind of made me laugh when he looked at the hole where his hand used to be. =P incredibly good stop action though, wow
I remember watching this when I was little. It inspired me to make stop motion
For ep 1 and 2 I used just whatever was in my kitchen.! For ep 3 I used 4 spot lights. 3 for the main set using a 3 point lighting set up and the final one to light the green screen. Thanks for watching
Wow that is really AWESOME! Its out of this world compared to mine!!!
I really enjoyed watching that. I had thought about getting EffectsLab, but there were too many confusing things about it, and for me it was quite expensive. But you're really taken it to a higher level, and this film makes me want it even more. Excellent job. Your 'saber moves were executed quite well, too. The only thing I would say to improve on is your sets. They're just blank plates...
did you use photoshop for effects or gimp or adobe after effects can u tell me.
I was going "oh my ****ing god" at the end. That was EPIC!
Thanks. Glad you liked it. it was all shot at 15fps but really wanted to amp up the fury..!
It's been worth waiting for! Nice work!
great work one of the best lego lightsaber duels thumbs up
Nice work, it took alot of time I can easily see to make that movie. Very good, hope to see the next in the up coming months.
Hey AngryChair, you know how Fancypants uses Photoshop for lightsaber effects? Well, I saw that Photoshop Elements 10 is 100 bucks. I can't really afford that right now, and I saw you use a program called Hitfilm? Is it free? And is it Mac Compatible?
I was going to make some lego star wars animation because most of the videos I've seen are horrible, but after seeing this one I may not bother hehe. Exellent animation ( the mini's aren't exactly designed for complicated movements). I use the FXlab too to I know how much work went into the effects. Great work.
Thank you for the compliment. FancyPants is the best animator in my opinion as well and his Force Unleashed video is incredible. Thank you for watching
what software did you use for the lightsabers becuase i want to make a stop action or motion lego movie and i dont want my lightsabers to look bad like plastic

People Who Watch

How did you make the walls attach to the floor? same with those side rail bridge pieces?
Fabulous piece of work! How long did it take to create this project?
whats a clash plug, did u go through and photoshop every picture? also what program did u use?
Really cool. Do you put the lightsaber effect frame by frame?
This is far better than the first one! Awesome movement and stop motion, great visual effects! Cool, dude. But why are the credit texts so messy?
what programs you used to do not appear you hand while you meche the lego?
Its still classic after 10 years
where did you ge the lightsaber sound effect.
Indeed they were. Nice find. They must be pretty rare by now as I bought them back in 2002
Hey Rebelshifter many thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. This one took 3 months from start to finish but have big plans for the conclusion in the summer..!!
damn i remember watching this as a kid - so many memories ;-;
awesome
how do you get the lightsabers to glow?
when does this take place?
What software(s) did you use? I make some Lego vids, but windows movie maker sucks
@Kidflash255 Basically you paint the saber glow onto each frame and when they hit I use a preset flash from within VisionLab Studio to give off the saber clash effect.
Amazing effects and movements another sub m8
Very kind of you to say. Thank you. Final part is about 2/3'rds done
Great vid! I love Lego and Star Wars so this is a perfect video!
@MishMash987 Really kind of you to say! Thanks for watching, glad you liked it
Thank you. It took about 3 months to do all the animating and FX work. This was my first proper animation as well so learned as I went along. Was a lot of fun.! Thanks for watching
Lost his hand while still smiling and walk away the end lmao
Man, their facial expressions seem life like
Great video

You are welcome! And, wow!... three months to make that video?! Whoa, they really were worth it, because the animation is outstandingly excellent!! Also, if you say you have plans for a conclusion, then I'll be waiting for your upcoming jobs! =D
