I got the ath mx-70 for production. They are the best sounding hp ive ever had, and they come with several adapter wire lengths. One is 20’ that I run to my Switch when playing docked. I hook that to Bose quiet comfort. Also a 5’ length for handheld. Stoked on Hori. I usually play handheld but I will try docked. Visually looks amazing
Is it loud in the headphones? Because the switch has the weakest and lowest sound when it comes to headphones. I dont know why Nintendo patched out the higher volume i was loving it. I guess nintendo are looking out for thr kiddies eardrum smh.
This is truly a MASTERPIECE in game design. Its a game so good ... you would think Nintendo made it themselves. Definitely give it a shot Nintendo fans.
The switch has a ton of great Metroidvanias. We can already play super metroid now all we're missing is symphony of the night. Hopefully konami can port it over alongside the GBA and DS Castlevania titles in a collection.

Ori and The Blind Forest is one of those games I saw on Xboxone and I thought I really wanted to play but I couldn't becsuse I don't own an Xboxone and there aren't a great deal of games I want on Xbox so I'm glad this game is out on switch and I'm already to play it as soon as it comes out.

I definitely can’t wait to pick up this game. I got it on sale a while back on Steam, but it unfortunately could barely run on my potato of a laptop. But this Switch port looks like plenty of hard work put into it, as it looks like it has a pretty stable framerate and looks gorgeous to boot!
I absolutely love this game it looks awesome on the switch light. but to me, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but the graphics kind of look like what it would be like if Rayman graphics were hyper realistic. I think that would be kind of cool actually

@@SteveNaranjo I know... Everyone is calling it a masterpiece. Everything is gorgeous about the game and the story was sad and I wanted to see it through. But those controls... I've played many 2D metroidvania's in my many years of playing games since the Colecovision, these controls infuriated me to no end. They weren't responsive, and spike/hazard placements were put in the worst spots. It just felt the game was trying to be harder for the player by giving them floaty and unresponsive controls.

Im not much of a gamer but when i started playing this game on the switch it grabbed my attention the controlls are flawless along with the graphics and gameplay. One can really injoy the storyline along with the music and the stunning background. Cant wait to play the second one.
This version actually has better animations than the Xbone version. The devs stated that they updated animation to be in 60fps for Switch, while the Xbone version still has the old 30fps animations. Neat stuff.

I was playing Ori at work today during my lunch, started to tear up again. No matter how many times I play Ori it still has the emotional impact on me just like it did the first time I played it. I was glad nobody saw me crying because admittedly I like to be by myself when I have one of my moments let's just say.
Almost skipped this review (already own the Xbox One version), but that opening skit reminds me why I watch and like you guys! I thought funny and goofy was Andre's territory, but you nailed it Jon, lol!
It seems like a game I might enjoy but not having any good fighting mechanics makes me unsure especially after absolutely loving the boss fight and combat driven Hollow Knight, but also loving it's path of pain and white palace section
They're both MetroidVania games, but they're very different. Ori is much more focused on atmosphere, platforming, exploration, and storytelling. The platforming is second to none. The escape sequences can crank the pucker factor up to 9, as well. Ori is on the "Metroid" side of MetroidVania. Hollow Knight is more like a MetroidVania and 2d Dark Souls. It sits on the "Vania" side of MetroidVania. Both masterpieces of the genre, and show how diverse games within it can be.
I'm thinking of picking up this and the Will of the Wisps but am confused what order to play them in? Like which one comes first Blind Forest or Will of Wisps?
My friend who never played Ori texted me yesterday he going to get Ori on Switch for the 1st time on Friday I was so happy to hear this. I've already rebuyed this I am hoping Will Of The Wisp come to Switch in 2021 or something please Moon Studios.
I am really excited to play this game! I am waiting for the release of Ori The Collection where you get this game and Ori and the Will of the Wisp in one game! From what I heard about 65% thought Will of the Wisp was better and 35% the Blind Forest, still really close so I am excited for both games therefore I will buy the collection. Iam8bits is launching the bundle for Switch and PC but in a very steep price! I wish Ninitendo can release a regular version for customers who can’t afford bundle price.
I was going to hold off picking up this game for a while because of how many games there are coming out in the next little bit, but once I played the demo I had to preorder it right away! Really glad it's finally on Switch!
im proud to say that i have indeed beaten this game without dying. it was super hard, but i did it!!! you know that episode of spongebob where there is a new driving instructor who eventually makes spongebob walk the driving course blindfolded? and after a few days spongebob has basically memorized the course. he's like "1,003...1,004...1,005..OH" *steps over pebble* "ha! you will not trip me up again pebble 143! 1,006...1,007..." yah, the game kind of turns into that when you try to beat it without dying. i wouldn't recommend everybody try what i did, but i definitely think everyone should play this game. its fantastic!
Not really. There are maybe 4 sections in the game where it can get a bit challenging, but they're kind of short. I'd say it's slightly harder than a modern 2D Mario.
I played this game on PC earlier this year. I agree with combat being less than stellar but that platforming is where this game excels. The other con to this game is its story, think about it for a minute and realize how wishy washy the premise is coupled with the fact that the owl had every right to be bitter and you'll be cheering the owl on the entire time.
Him sliding in the disc like that hurt to watch.

Ori doesn't have a lot of 3D or polygons. It's a 2D game with mostly handrawn backgrounds. Shouldn't be too hard to run it.

the switch having a current gen nvidia based gpu is a lot more powerful in effect and shader vs the xbox 360 so i m glad to see that game here.

Saw the sequel had come out and thought it looked nice. Bought Blind Forest on a $5 Steam sale and if I like it enough, then I’ll buy the sequel.
I just woke up and for a moment I mistook the thumbnail as the head of a giant robot, with the Nintendo Switch being a sort of visor.
