  • A travel video through Las Vegas circa-2001, followed by a fantastic night helicopter view of the Strip. See what Las Vegas was like at the turn of the Millennium.
**Up until recently, I've been downloading my personal VHS collection. However, the collection is obviously limited. I started a Patreon page to better find and purchase old VHS videos on EBAY and other websites, as well as at garage sales and other locations that might have VHS available, so I can upload them for all to see and share for free. See it here: / tombombadil
"New" experiences include: The New Aladdin, Paris, Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, and a new renovation at the Rio.
Attractions featured include the Forum Shops, Canal Shops, Motor Speedway, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Star Trek The Experience, the Volcano at Mirage and Pirate Show at Treasure Island, Adventure Dome at Circus Circus, Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, MGM Theme Park, Gameworks, Speed the Ride and other roller coasters.
Show reviews include Siegfried & Roy, EFX, Lance Burton, Jubilee, and Masquerade Village.
Special bonus includes video of many of Vegas's famous implosions, including the Dunes, Sands, LanMark, Hacienda, and El Rancho.

My first visit to Las Vegas was in the Summer of 2000. Someone take me back to this era... in my opinion, this was the prime of Las Vegas. It was so much fun and classy at the same time.

Las Vegas used to feel and look so classy. And then 2010 came around and changed the vibes. Not for the better either.

Ah back when circus circus didn’t let itself go yet. The amusement park was really fun back then and had a ton of arcade machines to play if you couldn’t afford the rides and felt included in the action.

Aladdin was well-designed for its time, and even today its remnants in the Miracle Mile Shops prove timeless. Not sure why management/the property owners had to rehash it to the lame Planet Hollywood...Aladdin had its unique flair on the Strip. Should've just pumped more efforts into theming the hotel even more to enhance the guest experience.
