My favourite architectural rendering software is definately Twinmotion! The render quality is awesome and it has so many cool features. Besides that it's really easy to learn! And Niko.. Keep up the good work!

in general good line-up, but you could add few things. first, v-ray is just a render engine (similiar as corona etc) , not whole 3d package. so, you need also something like 3d max, cinema 4d (which you forget to mention, among others) etc, vray is also fot sketch-up, which make it more affordable. then, beside lumion and twinmotion, there's artlantis for example, which was probably first with more easy ui and fast results. surly i also forgot some other ones, but just fo start...
You forgot cycles and blender 2.80 that is free and is comparable to vray and Eevee engine that is comparable to unreal. Many of Bim and archviz specialists moving to it.

Cycles is definitely very capable, but on the Viz world, Blender is practically non existent. Only now game engines are being able to make a (somewhat still small) dent on this market. This is still a place dominated by far by the likes of Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUP and 3dsMax. Those are just the industry standards.
the lumion stats are absolutely wrong ... AND unreal actually haves vray support so combined the two are definitely the best image quality possible and that means the unreal stats are wrong also
Hello Niko, I need help I'm so confused. I'm trying to find out what is the best option for rendering and animating objects in a Revit file. 1. What is compatible with Revit 2. What keeps my Revit materials. What I mean is I've tried Unreal 4 but I basically have to rebuild every material from scratch. I've also tried Enscape for Revit. Which I love for renders, it's super easy and I don't have to re-create anything in Enscape, however I can't animate in Enscape. 3. I'm basically trying to find out if there is anything that I can import Revit into that will keep all of my already created Revit materials and that I can animate. Can you please help me with this? I will be forever grateful if I can get help figuring this out. I'm like completely overloaded trying to decipher all of these different programs at once. Thank you
Enscape has a very easy walkthrough animation feature. Yes you cant animate people or doors opening but if you want to do that then Revit is most definitely not the software to do so.
@@MichaelLangmayer Revit renders are too low quality. I learned Blender. It's awesome, blows everything else out of the water. For me, 3dsMax doesn't even come close, I find blender easier also.

because it is not a stand-alone program, it means I cant use in Revit, Archicad or else. In the video only addons or standalone programs. As you can see, Maxon renders also not on the list. same reason.

Everybody can make that... but the companies will not pay for the hours it takes to create this. What I usually do is this: Hire some skilled chinese/romanien/polish blokes and give them a bowl of rice for their hard labor. Then I give my boss the finished product. I get all the credit for it and the low paid real artists gets a bowl of rice... (That is the project managers way)

Personnellement j'utilise lumion. Sa rapidité d'exécution est juste incroyable et est très utile lorsque le client se trouve au dessus de notre épaule pour modifier en live et obtenir un rendu rapide et efficace. Pour vous dire sur des images d'intérieur certains de mes clients se rendaient pas compte qu'il s'agissait d'une 3D lorsqu'on mettait la photo du projet finit. Cependant je reconnais, qu'on est pas sur du rendu corona ou vray quand s'est pousser au max, certains rendus avec ces programmes sont juste hallucinant avec de la post production
As far as I know Lumions renders have gotten way way better than what you showed. Agreed it wasnt that good but know its extremly good in my opinion

CPU and GPU are matter. anyway, try twinmotion (because of it free), of go into v-ray. both very friend full with Rhino.
there's v-ray for rhino, which is one of the best, if not the best render engines out there. but it needs a fast cpu, at least in classic version.

Lumion 10 côté rendu c'est amélioré ainsi que les arbres et les textures en Displacement. j'attend Twinmotion 2020 qui va sortir bientôt. Lumion sur ses outils ce sont légèrement amélioré mais peut mieux faire. Twinmotion ça serait le rendu si il est au niveau de lumion 9 ou 10 ça serait top. Enscape a un trés bon rendu et nettement meilleur que lumion ou Twinmotion, le diagnostic que vous avez fait sur sa qualité est fausse. De plus en plus on cherche des logiciel qui se raproche au jeux vidéo, il faudrait que corona, Vray et bien d'autre qui cherche à s'améliorer sur du rendu en temps réel avec des outils nettement meilleur que que lumion ou twinmotion. Personnellement j'utilise lumion. Sa rapidité d'exécution est juste incroyable et est très utile lorsque le client se trouve au dessus de notre épaule pour modifier en live et obtenir un rendu rapide et efficace.
Pour vous dire sur des images d'intérieur certains de mes clients se rendaient pas compte qu'il s'agissait d'une 3D lorsqu'on mettait la photo du projet finit.
Cependant je reconnais, qu'on est pas sur du rendu corona ou vray quand s'est pousser au max, certains rendus avec ces programmes sont juste hallucinant avec de la post production
